I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service and quality of drinks at the Ripley Starbucks location. I've never written a review before, but I'm lead to share my thoughts, from my own experiences, my friends and family, and the general agreement around town because frankly, I've never heard a good word said about this place. As a loyal Starbucks customer, I frequently visit and spend a significant amount of money at Starbucks which is not cheap. However, my experiences at this particular store have consistently been negative.
My usual order is an iced triple blonde espresso with customizations, including a specific amount of 2% milk and flavoring. While I understand that customized drinks may not always fill the cup to the top, the drinks I receive at the Ripley Starbucks are often significantly underfilled compared to other locations where the same order is placed and filled to the top or close to the top.
As to the customer service at this store is consistently poor. On one occasion, when I politely requested a small amount of additional milk and offered to even pay for it if needed, an employee was incredibly rude, basically throwing the drink in my hand and slamming the window in my face and walking away. This behavior should be unacceptable and reflects a bad look for Starbucks.
Like I said, it's not only the workers attitudes that's a problem when I order in person, through the drive-through, or mobile order doesn't matter. My drinks are always wrong or missing things I pay extra money for. Like added toppings or caramel drizzle or lining the cup with caramel that I pay for is never added. The drink is already expensive enough without them always forgetting to add the things I pay for. And When I politely ask for these items to be added, the staff responds with unnecessary attitude, making me feel like a burden for requesting what I paid for.
The Ripley management needs to consider replacing/training or just hiring people who are not only skilled in making drinks correctly and know how to read a ticket but making drinks consistent while keeping a friendly attitude. On a positive note, I recall a tall guy with brown curly hair and glasses. I don't know his name but He is always super nice, and he is very quick at his job and makes good delicious drinks while being fast. He always makes the experience good making you wanna come back. He's just always very friendly and easy to talk to.
Also one of the other baristas brown hair usually pulled back in a ponytail with pieces down in the front, I don't know her name either but I haven't seen her in there in a while but she writes such lovely messages on my cups and always made my drinks just right. I haven't seen her in there in a while like I said. It's upsetting. She was quiet but always very friendly and always looked very happy to be there and always smiling. Very good customer service. It made for a positive experience also making you wanna come back. You need more employees like this.
I hope you take these concerns seriously and take action I'm not the only one who thinks like this. I've heard a lot of people say things like this and I'm just bringing it to you guys to hopefully to get something done about these issues. So the Ripley location standards can be better. read more
