The focaccia was deliciously savory, the toppings paired well with the bread without overtaking its flavor. Lastly, the showstopper, was the cinnamon roll. It was next level good, and I dare say the best I've ever had. The roll itself was soft, buttery, and full of cinnamon spice. The frosting was perfect, creamy with a delicate cream cheese flavor. I know I'm going to be craving it in the future. On top of the delicious baked goods, the interior was clean and had welcoming vibe. The employees were kind and helpful. The price for everything was $58, which makes sense with how expensive groceries are nowadays. And you're supporting a small, locally owned business. My vegan daughter lucked out that The Coffee House had plant-based milk options, and chose an oatmilk cappuccino. Our son had an iced hot chocolate, and my husband a black coffee. In addition to the beverages, there were homemade baked goods in baskets by the counter. When in WV-Rome, you don't need to twist my arm to try a homemade sweet treat, haha. I tried the chocolate chip cookies and the blondie brookie, both of which were delicious, tasted like they came out of grandma's oven. Our son enthusiastically gobbled up a couple gingerbread cookies that went well with his iced hot chocolate that he also loved.
