We were in the neighborhood and noticed the great ratings. So we gave this place a try! I ordered a hot white chocolate mocha with raspberry. There's a drive- thru and dine in option for this coffee shop. The dine in options include a "bar" area near the entrance, a sitting area with tables, and outdoor/covered patio seating. They have many yummy looking pastries as well. Parking: street parking. Didn't notice a parking lot Ambience: relaxed, clean, quite in areas away from the café production. Service: fantastic. The barista was patient, welcoming as we were first timers, and helped us select our coffee. She also hand delivered The coffees to us. Coffee quality: delicious. Our coffee was moreso "warm" than "hot" so we had to drink it rather faster than normal. But the flavor and beans tasted better than many chain cafés. Price: Fair Overall rating: 4.5

Great coffee, sweet service & awesome vibe. Art added to the already fascinating container ambiance with rooftop outdoor seating available too. Mimi LOVED the warmed pumpkin spice bread and Poppop's fork kept going for the chocolate cake doughnut. If you are driving through West Virginia, pop in!

Still, this place made the trip worthwhile and I enjoyed a nice hot chocolate (and complimentary Halloween-themed shortbread cookie!). The barista was pleasant and answered our questions about the environs. We only checked out the bookstore section briefly though it did have an excellent selection, and even had a typewriter set up for aspiring typists to play around with. As a typewriter owner, it's always cool to see opportunities for the next generation to get a chance to work with these machines (if only so they can appreciate how much easier word processors are when it comes to editing!) I would gladly come back here again, and hopefully take more time to check out the books as well. Overall: 4.5/5 stars ---- Pros: - Great drinks. - Pleasant staff. - Quiet place to do work or look for a new book to dive into. - Easy street parking nearby. Cons: - Most tables are two tops, so if your group is three or more, you may have to improvise your seating arrangement.

Nothing fancy about this place, just very friendly and I felt at home and comfortable. The menu is hand written on a white board, but it's easy to read. I had a hard decision to make, everything sounded delicious. But, when I asked about the C3 sandwich, I was sold when I was told that the sauce is their signature sauce. I was given a choice to have homemade bread, which I could not turn down. I can tell that this sandwich was made by someone who's proud, and made with love. This was the best darn sandwich I have had in such a long time. The sandwich was toasted, the pepper jack cheese was melted and the signature sauce was just so good on all the warm insides. This was definitely a mouth watering delicious sandwich. It had just the right amount of ham, turkey, red onions. I'd drenched it with all the sauce that I had in a little container. The sandwich is so much better than anything you'll ever get at any fast food sandwich shop. The owner was absolutely friendly, he told me his name but I'm going to call him D cuz I can't remember it. He offered me a sample of their peach bread without any sweet icing on top, and boy it was so good. There were lots of delicious baked goods and I'll be coming back for dessert. I will be coming back here. By the way it's right across the street from the Cabell library.
