While traveling to the Ashland area the Pour House was the closest local shop to us so we visited multiple times. The pastries and quiche were really good. The coffee was decent and did the job while the Red Bull sunrise was delicious. The sunrise has tons of flavor options and various juices that can be used but their menu doesn't share that info. My recommendation is to either ask them to read the extensive list or check out one of the delivery apps to see the options before heading to the drive thru. read more

Christmas morning we stopped here, we are from Cincinnati and on our way to Cabell Hospital Huntington WV. the 2 ladies working were wonderful and friendly. I love Pour House Coffee. It's always comfortable. There are not many seats, but most business seems to be drive thru. However, today was a little different. Three young girls were working, plus a woman who was either a manager or owner. I could plainly hear their conversation. The person in charge was explaining a few things, and also asking them to suggest organizations that they could do fund raisers for. The three girls weren't listening to her, showed absolutely no respect and the one with the biggest bad mouth was being so rude, that had I been the boss, I would have fired her on the spot. This is not the type of behavior that needs to go on in a coffee shop. The manager needs to get a handle on things. read more

Pour House Coffee is a great addition to Ashland, KY! I love the drive through location for its accessibility, but the sit-in location has my heart! They make hand crafted espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages. They also sell pastries and sandwiches; you can get your coffee and something to eat. We stopped in while running errands. They do have a drive thru service but it is worth stopping in to see the menu and ask questions. I opted for a peppermint mocha. The others in my group ordered a turtle and green tea. The drinks were good and the coffee was well made. However the coffee itself was just ok in my opinion. This is the main reason I did not give them 4 stars. Extraordinary coffee shop. Tiny and refreshing with excellent And I mean excellent customer service by the guy working here. They have way too many options to choose from. Seating is limited but has a great feel to it. I prefer this coffee house over the others in the area. I like their wide selection of herbal teas and their distinctive coffee drinks. I tried a chicken salad sandwich at the recommendation of someone in the area and I was very disappointed. I know that they get their food items from a local place called Root-a-bakers. The chicken salad was not anything remotely stellar enough to charge $8 for a sandwich. I have tried one of their sausage and cheese breakfast items and it was okay, but overpriced. I do enjoy the blueberry rooibos tea with honey and I appreciate the diversity they offer considering the region. The Irish latte is delicious and when I'm splurging on carbs I indulge. read more
