I was trying to explain how i liked my coffee and this girl who worked there cut me off to ask me what flavor i wanted in my coffee. i was getting to that but she just rudely interrupted me. They also never fully mix the drinks so the flavor is all at the bottom. When i asked on a previous day for them to mix the flavor into my drink, the same girl who cut me off rolled her eyes at me and said they do that. This is exactly why i do not support local coffee shops- because at least when i go to starbucks i am treated with respect.

Still, this place made the trip worthwhile and I enjoyed a nice hot chocolate (and complimentary Halloween-themed shortbread cookie!). The barista was pleasant and answered our questions about the environs. We only checked out the bookstore section briefly though it did have an excellent selection, and even had a typewriter set up for aspiring typists to play around with. As a typewriter owner, it's always cool to see opportunities for the next generation to get a chance to work with these machines (if only so they can appreciate how much easier word processors are when it comes to editing!) I would gladly come back here again, and hopefully take more time to check out the books as well. Overall: 4.5/5 stars ---- Pros: - Great drinks. - Pleasant staff. - Quiet place to do work or look for a new book to dive into. - Easy street parking nearby. Cons: - Most tables are two tops, so if your group is three or more, you may have to improvise your seating arrangement.

Terrible service!…read more This has happened several times to us and my friends/family and it's UNACCEPTABLE. My grandbabies just wanted some ice cream. we pulled into Buckeye around 8:50. (Mind you their summer hours used to be open until 10pm but that's for a different complaint lol) We stood at the window and the employees ignored us. Completely Turned their backs, kept looking at us then turned back around. Yes, they close at 9. But acknowledge your customers!!!! At least open the window and say I'm sorry but we're not taking anymore orders. Where are their manners? Shame on them!!!! You don't ignore customers like that. These new owners are ridiculous. I don't see them keeping this business much longer. And I hope whoever gets it next makes it right again like it used to be! So we left and went to The Malt shop. Much better service there! We usually don't come to Buckeye anymore with this new ownership but when my babies want ice cream, I'm getting them ice cream! Way. To. Go. If I could give this place 0 stars I would.
