First time customers and what a great find in the town of Ripley WV. A truly gourmet ice cream sunday, all set in a horror/goth themed establishment. With so many wonderful choices, our hosts were super helpful in explaining options. I had a "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" sundae while Ms Deborah ordered a "Snake on a Plane" sundae. Now I wish so much that I could give higher star power to this CRAZY, Wacky Restaurant but I just can't Let's start by saying Kuddos on the theme and decor....5 stars there Clean restaurant and friendly staff.... kuddos and 5 stars there too But the walk from the parking lot on the hill behind...ugh especially if rainy!!! And the HOT DOGS... Soo Soo Sorry and I wanted them to be good... truly!!! But NOT SO MUCH!!! I ordered 6 to go and I took them literally 2 miles to my parents near the high school and they were COLD...chili was so cold like it was straight out of cooler...NO Heat or warmth at all... Weiners were ugh!!! Not a great quality weiner and buns no heated. Slaw was okay but onions were old, Strong and very overpowering!!! This horror themed ice cream shop that just opened in July is fantastically ghoulish and delicious. Loads of themed shakes, sundaes and more to choose from. Choices range from cotton candy sundaes to Harry Potter and more. Since we're from Pittsburgh of course we shared the Night of the Living Dead sundae. I absolutely recommend checking this spot out if you ever find yourself in this part of West Virginia. read more

Definitely an interesting concept that works really well in the area. First search result that populated when I looked for ice cream in that area. I love the decor and overall themes throughout the location. They can definitely work on paving or cleaning up the roads outside because during rain/snow, I can see some issues occurring especially on that slope. Ice cream was scrumptious. Pictures don't do justice so beware what you order. A lot of whipped cream and sugar rush so keep that in mind. Overall, great experience besides the crazy customers but thats a whole different story for a different place. read more

Very unique place! The inside has a wall with all the different milkshake creation photos if you're not sure what to get. You can also get scoops in a cup that are a pretty decent size. One scoop filled up about a medium sized cup for $3. The "Squirm" milkshake was okay but mainly tasted like a vanilla milkshake. Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area as the inside is pretty cool. read more

My son had the 'Sharknado' and I had the 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre'. I asked David what he rated them out of a scale of 1 to 10 and he said, "Mom, I am literally licking the icing off of the sides of the glass. What do you think?" So, I told him that I guess that means they get a ten. Then, he started licking the leftover icing off of his fingers. Definitely a 10.5 for finger-licking good. I agree with David. I loved the atmosphere. "Killer Klowns from Outer Space" was playing on the television (you know I have that on VHS AND DVD, lol). They also played background music and I liked every single song. It was like they took a peak at my private MP3 collection. Either that, or I am their targeted demographic of "slightly quirky parent who grew up in the 80s or 90s". Lots of photo-ops for the kiddos and the staff was super-friendly. With a large menu selection, it was hard to narrow down which sundae to try on my first rodeo. We will definitely be back. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! First off I'm super bummed out cause I LITERALLY USED TO LIVE ACROSS THE STREET BEFORE THEY PUT THEIR BUSINESS HERE. so I would have died if I still lived there. Anyways lol. I'm obsessed with this place. Love the style, the theme, the whole thing is amazing. Horror is my favorite and ice cream , I mean who doesnt love ice cream? Lol. My boyfriend and I first went here about a month after they had opened and we got the Killer Clowns from Outer space creation and the Night of the Living dead Creation. Both were so YUMMY! I instantly wanted to go back! I went again a d got the Garbage Pail kid Creation and omg also so yummy! Cant wait to try more and try their new soup menu too!!! I wouldn't say it's the best place for young adults since it's a milk shake place. I mostly saw teens there or families. I really like sweets and I wish there were more spooky fun places for people near my age or if they had like a 21+ section I think that would be a really nice addition. However, staff was great and super friendly very considerate of their customers. My milkshake was good but the doughnuts that came with it were really really dry. I definitely loved the spooky themes decorations my milkshake I ordered a flavor I didn't even really like because the person I went with isn't really into sweets and just wanted them to try a taste since we took a hour drive to go there. I have to say the hour drive was still worth it I got a flavor I didn't like and still heavily enjoyed my milkshake and experience. I would definitely recommend it for a fun date for Halloween or some spooky fun in October. read more
