Great location near train in Ramsey. Friendly service. Little messy in store. Ordered cappuccino and was half full.

New review: The folks here are terrific. They seem to be training some new baristas, but I can say now that the crew who've been here over the past few months are friendly, fast, efficient, and kind. Old review: The folks here seem nice but my venti was filled only to just above the eyes of the logo. but I didn't notice until I had left and driven off. If this is a one-time lapse, I'll update the review, but tha pretty annoying.

Evan was great! He helped my boyfriend and I with our order and our Frappuccinos came out very good! We ordered the Triple Mocha Frappuccino which is enveloped between layers of whipped cream that's infused with cold brew, white chocolate mocha and dark caramel. The whipped cream stood out for me as I told my boyfriend how delicious it was! We also ordered an espresso shot on top to get that extra kick.

Like... blink twice if you're alive. Mission half accomplished. Barista was polite. Efficient. Straight to business. No fluff. Which is fine... except somehow, despite there being no one in front of me, I was standing there long enough to wonder if this is how time works in dog years. Now let's talk pastries. I was torn between a scone and a muffin. The muffin won purely on looks, it was giving "pick me." And I'm glad I got it... even though it was dry. Like, Sahara dry. Like it needed chapstick. Crumbly too. BUT plot twist: I didn't hate it. I wanted scone texture with muffin taste, and somehow the universe delivered both in one baked good. Accidental win. The place itself? Nothing wild, nothing gimmicky. Standard pastry case, good seating, chill vibes. But the real star here is how clean everything was and honestly, that matters. If I'm eating crumbs that explode on impact, I at least want to know they came from a spotless counter. Overall: good coffee, decent pastry redemption arc, minimal personality but solid execution. Not life changing, but I'd come back, just maybe with a glass of water... for the muffin.

You can grab a tray and choose your sweet or savory baked goods, hot or cold sandwiches including egg sandwiches, and coffees and teas. They also sell whole cakes or by the slice. Their sandwiches like the chicken salad are good but not amazing. I have enjoyed their chocolate chip scones, quiche, and apple turnover. They came out a few times to refresh the baked goods which was nice to see, as other ones often run out of items. Their seating also had outlets which encourages people to sit and stay awhile. It's good to get the app because they offer discounts which can pay off. Their rewards program is earn 75 points (each $1) and get a free pastry or drink so it can take awhile to accumulate if you don't go often (though definitely not a cheap place). And the points expire at some point if you don't use them for awhile. Sunday is a good day to go to avoid crowds since the retail stores were closed. Parking is usually a pain on Saturdays. The Plaza also has a tj maxx, shop rite, cvs, old navy, orange theory, dsw, five below, Michael's, deli, etc.

It must have been kismet because as soon as I pulled into Pour City I saw DD across the street lol. But as I told my PhD advisor in year 8, I'm not a quitter so I will see this thing through (spoiler: I did quit). I was committed to the bit. Pour City had me at turmeric latte. A maple turmeric latter with espresso and oat milk to be exact. Of course the one time I don't bring my phone with me the place is super cute. I made it shake by taking pics of the coffee itself in the car. Super smooth, velvety even. Rich in flavor. Sensational. I legitimately live 60 miles away. At the register, it was a little confusing as there was no line that had formed. There were people standing in front of the register and the young employee would just shout "next customer" and someone would decide to go next. In my opinion, I think the back room should have a door or curtain just for the employees privacy. I would not want customers seeing me eating or on my phone while I'm on a break. I'm sure most people know it's a break room, but for those who don't would be wondering why there are people sitting when the front of the store has customers waiting for their order to be taken. Back to the food... I got a panini with mozzarella, tomato, basil and chicken (additional $4.50). And I also go the Clean Green smoothie. They gave me a numbered placard so that someone could deliver my food to my table. The panini was good, but unfortunately the chicken was very dry and the ends of the bread was soggy. For something that was just made, the bread should not be soggy like it had been sitting in a liquid for a while. The smoothie was ok. I think they put too much vanilla extract in it because that was the only thing I could really taste. I think the banana needed to ripen for another day. Also, there was a grainy texture and I can't figure out why as there was no powder added to it. According to the menu, the ingredients are coconut water, banana, cucumber, spinach, dates, and vanilla extract. The total for my sandwich and drink was $31. This is an ok but overpriced lunch. I might come back to try something else in the future.
