More 5 star reviews for this location. They always know my name and my favorite drinks. I don't know HOW they keep up with the crowds but somehow they do. Never a long wait no matter how many people are in there. I've been in there at times when at least 15 people are there.. I'd go nuts if it were me but somehow the crew maintains their composure and cheerful attitude. I especially love "Milo" - she represents what the best baristas do.. I grew up on Starbucks. Well, at least when I began to drink coffee. I always appreciated their original vision of making Starbucks a place where people met to build relationships and enjoy coffee. But it seems to me that this vision has changed, and I do not see the amount of people that I used to view sitting in a Starbucks. And I find that sad. Also, the coffee has gotten worse. You will not find a roasting date, but a 'drink by date' on their coffee bags. Why is this? Because Starbucks does want you to know how long that coffee has been sitting on a shelf even before they sent it to their stores. Coffee that just sits, not occasionally moved, (also based on the type of lighting) loses some of its best flavors due to oxidation. For me, coffee that has a current roasting date ALWAYS has the best flavors and offers the best tasting experience. Unfortunately, one will probably never get this at any Starbucks. read more

Unbelievably, unreasonably slow. I was the only customer and waited an epic amount of time for my drink from the 2 baristas that were both working on my drink. Two additional customers came along and ordered drinks, both of which received their drinks before me. I guess its what I should have expected from a Starbucks in a grocery store run by children. read more

Everybody was very friendly and helpful. List didn't look that large but the guy behind the counter explained that's because everybody ends up getting so many customized things so it's really just name what you want and they make it for you. I was redeeming some rewards that I had and I end up getting the horchata iced coffee. It was okay. I just don't think that was really my go to but I wanted to try something new. They gave me a pup cup to give Decker which he thoroughly enjoyed. read more

More often than not, I have a great experience here. I usually do order ahead and my drink is typically ready within the time frame they note and it's correct and tasty! They went through a bit of remodeling and overall there feels like far less seating and the layout isn't quite as inviting but maybe I also just don't love change! This Starbucks location has the best service. The staff is always ready to welcome you once you walk through the door and notes are always made on your cup. The ambiance is perfect if you ever need to study and get things done. The drinks are always delicious and brewed nicely. read more

I walked in 11:30 AM there was about 10 employees in the back doing. I don't know what one person on the register decided to spend 15 minutes, chatting up two girls and getting their phone number while the line was out the door. I waited almost 30 minutes for a grande coffee drip this place is the most inefficient Starbucks I have ever been in in my entire life. do not go unfortunately I understand that people will go because it's the only thing offered in this area.. zero customer service. read more

I've been here quite a few times out of desperation. This is possibly the worst location. The drinks are consistently terribly made. Often it's like drinking boiled water. No comments at all until was handed my short regular coffee and I said thank you, to which she quietly said you're welcome. I have come to expect some degree of life in retail clerks, this shop was sleepy. Food. No display of any edibles, visible were a tray or two of pastries on the floor off to the side. I didn't want to order something from the floor. Counters sticky and dried splotches. Might not have seen a towel and hot water since they opened. They got my simple order correct. I got out of there to drink in my car, the interior furnishings were untidy. Perhaps a pep talk might help, best if from regional manager to store manager. These two kids were clueless. read more

Customer service non-existence! I was there around 9am to pick up a Doordash and not one single person asked what I needed! They did wait on people after I came in though. Customer service is lacking and we had four different drinks remade. It taste terrible and I don't want to pay $9 for a drink that taste like just milk. I can just pour a glass at home and eat cookies. And the outside just isn't the best . So I went back and got it re-done by Scott and it finally taste like it's worth spent $9.00. This Starbucks has a personal all its own. Not attached to the mall and in an island it is a quaint place with good outdoor seating. You will not be able to park close but lots of parking around this Starbucks. The Batista's greeted me right away when I walked in. Service with a smile. I came to this location yesterday (May 26, 2023) with my 4 children and was pleasantly surprised, regardless of all the negative reviews. I would have given 5 stars if the tension between the two female employees didn't affect their responsibilities to their customers. They did not greet or acknowledge any of the customers, even when the line extended to the entrance. However, the young man was the definition of outstanding customer service. He should be rewarded with a raise and a promotion. He was very courteous and professional with the customer ahead of us and was the same way with us. He made us feel welcomed and the food was delicious. When we visit Raleigh again, we'll come back to this location. read more

It was horrible, asked for a pink drink and a strawberry açaí. They waited until about 15 minutes after we ordered to tell us that they had no more coconut milk, and I had to come up and ask. The workers were slow and were not short staffed. When we did FINALLY get our drinks they looked the exact same even though we got different drinks and they did not even put strawberries in even though the fruits were fully stocked. DONT COME HERE waste of time for a drink that is not what you asked for- from an experienced Starbucks drinker. read more

The customer service is fantastic here but the drinks don't taste all that good. My caramel latte tasted like watered down coffee. The best part was the friendly staff. They made sure everyone was taken care of and checked out properly. Other than that, I don't know if I'll be back. read more

Unfortunately this location is just not the coffee experience anyone wants. I purposefully drive further to another location to not deal with this location. Ordering ahead on the app is a joke, it can still be another 30 minutes after arriving that the one drink you ordered is ready. Drinks are frequently mismade and the location could use a a really good scrub of the floors. There's so much potential at this location especially with the cute outdoor seating area and the amount of business they get, but the number of drinks that they usually get behind because of the number of remakes observed when standing in the line waiting for a drink really detracts from a quick coffee run. I understand it's a systemic issue with the age of mobile orders and delivery apps, but this store should consider turning off mobile orders if they're short staffed and focusing on putting out a correct coffee. read more

It's good and they always make my order the way I like it. However it has gotten so busy I think they need to hire more staff. Everyone in our neighborhood is saying that it takes 45 minutes even when you order ahead and the line is always out the door. Hopefully they can hire some more folks to help them out. This is my regular Starbucks, so I felt after 100+ drinks it was time to leave a review. I am rating this as a Starbucks - it obviously doesn't compare to a local mom and pop café. As you would expect, the coffee tastes the same as any of the other million stores they have. Firstly, it is always PACKED, so mobile is the way to go. They do a great job of keeping up with all the orders, and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes. There was only one time that my drink was made incorrectly and they fixed it right away. The staff is always super friendly and efficient. My only reason for the four stars is because the store itself is relatively small, so there's not many places to work or sit down and chat. The outdoor space is nice..for all of 4 weeks here in NC. I wish they'd close it in with a wall of windows and put in a huge community counter. Either way I'll keep being a regular as long as I'm close by! read more

I kept seeing this Starbucks on the way to & from work & just keep forgetting to stop in. On a dreary Friday, after a long work week, I decided to treat myself to a frappaccino. The parking lot was filled with cars, but since this is a busy area, it made sense. When I walked in, there were two baristas at the two registers, one lady being helped & one man standing in line ahead of me. By the pick up counter, there were five people waiting. I already knew I was going to be here a while ... & I was. No sense of efficient in here, as they only had one barista making beverages. I waited several minutes before placing my order, but the employee was nice. I didn't have to wait long for my frap. Now, it was after 5 PM & I played heck trying to 1, even get out of the parking lot, 2, trying to get back on to Brier Creek Parkway & 3, trying to get back on to Glenwood. My frap was excellent though - the exclusive, limited time birthday cake flavor. I doubt I will be back to this location, but I'll have to really be jonesin' for a Starbucks fix to go back here. read more

I love Starbucks but this one is usually overcrowded inside with music that is too loud. The outdoor seating while plentiful is usually extremely dirty. I don't think they ever clean the tables and most of the time the garbage cans are overflowing. read more
