We go here all the time (or at least I do) and every time Sam is there, my day is MADE! Her service is probably the best in the building. She's there most of the time with her big smile and kind personality. Any time anyone else serves me, it seems they're irritated by me being there. One time I asked for a water at the window and blue hair made it seem like I asked her for a dollar out the tip jar. If it wasn't for Sam, I'd probably stop somewhere in Baton Rouge after work, having to go out of my route, but luckily I don't have to. read more

Service needs help. Not sure staff can handle the customers maybe had a long day? Not busy but I had to wait to order, Then everything was rushed by the one staffer . I'm not in a hurry but simple questions seemed to irritate her/him And like I said no one on line and only one car in drive up with 2 workers. Why bring my cup if you won't use it and give me money for having by own cup? This is my 3rd or so time at this Starbucks and have had a perfect experience each time! The staff is super friendly and helpful on custom orders. I wanted a caramel macchiato. They were out of vanilla but suggested the toasted vanilla instead and it ended up being delicious! Possibly better than the normal vanilla?? The employees at Starbucks in Brusly/port Allen have got to be the best around. Even when their line is almost hitting the service road they fixed my really complicated looking coffee with a smile. Stopped in Friday morning for a small coffee and cinnamon raisin bagel and I enjoyed it! The coffee was fresh and bagel was toasted exactly how I like it. However it still blows my mind that Starbucks doesn't have jelly. This location seemed a little short staffed. It was a little after 7:30 am and the employees seemed to be racing back and forth to meet the drive-through traffic. Not sure if that's usual or not but my wait wasn't too long. All and all, this location was fairly clean (self serve creamer/sugar station needed a wipe down) and quiet inside for a Friday morning. If I'm ever passing through again I'd def return. read more

Port Allen Starbucks!!!!!! This really made my day and I'm sure will make many other people's days in this side of the river! They just opened three days ago and I believe the location is prime! The staff is very friendly, is nice to see them excited about the future of this new branch. Though they just opened, they are very well equipped and the place smells new. I think this opening along with other places around will bring more business and life to this area of town, the best part is that we won't have the need to fight traffic on the bridge in random hours during the day whenever we want a coffee! Nice furniture, good amount of chairs and tables, location is very good. My forever favorite drink is Frappuccino white mocha, good for any time during the day, about food, everybody knows that this place is about drinks and snacks, or very light food. I am very happy for the opening of this place and definitely will be back! read more

Went here today with my little one to get her a pink drink and told they didn't have any strawberries. Decided on the dragon fruit and was told they didn't have the the fruit for that either. I mean, this place just opened so it should be fully stocked. Not a good first impression. Probably won't be back for lack of basic supplies. read more

Highly disappointed. Drove 15 minutes to this quiet and quaint location. Store hours posted outside of the door that it closes @8! My time is 6::40, and door is locked. I called store and someone picked up. I asked if they were closed and I was told " yes we are closeD at the moment because we are short staffed" unacceptable! If i could've given 0 stars i would've... I was very displeased with the service and mannerism of the young man at the window of this starbucks. Upon request of a straw, he told me they put certain tops on for strapless use to "save the turtles," which i understand so i requested one straw for my child whom prefers straws. After a denial for the second time, i just left. I then educated myself on safety for turtles regarding straws and learned unsafe fishing practices and misproperly disposed of chemicals kill turtles rather than one paper straw. Please use national geographic as a reference. This will be a traumatic experience for my young child whom loves turtles and is now having a meltdown over causing the death of a turtle. Her, "Crush," turtle themed birthday party will now have to be rescheduled and i don't think i can be refunded for personalized turtle straw and cup sets from etsy. The hypocrisy of using completely plastic cups without straws baffles me in regards of shaming customers turtle loving children. I will not be returning. read more

so first off, excellent location which will no doubt be a catalyst of modernization for the west side of the river. i ordered a nitro cold brew w vanilla sweet cream and requested a grande's worth of drink in a venti cup with the extra space filled w creamer and a shot of hazelnut. sounds complicated-and it was-but to my surprise the barista got it SPOT. ON. it's delightfully sweet yet not overpowering of the coffee and so so creamy. thank you guys! read more
