Sunday Morning, I went to This Starbucks in the Drive-Thru , I ordered 3 drinks on 2 different ones for my kids and for me I always order a hot Matcha and I asked for a non-Dairy Cold Foam ( I know it's going to melt I order it all the time it's juat how I looe it.) but the girl was so rude over the Intercom saying ,("you know its just going to melt right through...right") and again I alreaey knew this prior again its a huge staple of mine, and so I decided to still be nice an and say "yes , I know I like it like that" and than I said "Thank you" and her reply was super dismissive ("yeah, well okay") that's all I got right before I pulled up to the window it was a young girl I believe she was mixed but I don't want to be to sure I didn't get to catch her name. I live really close to this location and I rather drive further to go to another location. Why? Because this location is constantly slow. The customer service is lacking. They do not ask for your name when you order and they skimp on the whip cream. I stopped going here after driving to this locations drive-thru and there was one car in front of me and it took forever. They gave my order to that customer and the customer must have noticed it was the wrong drink and gave it back. So then I pull up and they gave me the drink that the customer gave back, thinking I didn't notice. Not sure if they took a drink out of it or what. I did not drink it. Don't say you weren't warned when you find yourself in that line for 15+ minutes especially if you are in a hurry, I was not. Notorious for the extremely long wait time. Today though, I ordered a grande cold brew and a venti pink drink. The guy told me to pull around. I pay and then out comes a grande pink drink. I tell the girl at the window that that's supposed to be a venti, she looks at me dead in the eye and asks "is this okay?" And pushes the grande pink drink towards me. I say "no that's not okay" and she turns around to talk to someone, and tells me to pull to the front and they will bring out my drink. No apologies, nothing. When the guy brings out my pink drink there is no apology for his mistake. First of all, why would you ask me if it's okay to take a smaller drink home when I asked for a bigger one? Decided to walk to Starbucks instead of drive to get coffee to help me stay up and finish homework. I arrived at 9:40 and the doors were locked and chairs barricaded the door. They don't close until 10! I stood at the door until 9:45 when someone came to open the door for one of the employees to let them leave. Slow slow slow... the service to order a drink is quick. The service to receive the drink is slow slow slow. I went to the Starbucks three times to a order drink. Each time the wait was more then 10 minutes with a full staff. I would avoid or order way in advance. Taste of drinks were the same as a usual Starbucks drink. read more

If you want your coffee made incorrectly, or you want to order ahead only to get there and then not have your coffee done after giving them approximately 15 to 20 minutes to make the drinks then this is definitely the location you should visit. I don't know if their employees are just incompetent or don't care but it seems like every time I go here they either "cannot find my order " or "haven't received it." Even though I have tried ordering from this location several times it's much easier to go to a different location or just not get coffee from Starbucks at all. Extremely slow. I live by this location and am now driving further to avoid this drive through spot. They are doing this weird drive through thing where when you order food they say they are checking on it (literally every time) and make you wait so long. The weird thing is I don't even think they are checking on it they are just throwing it in the oven so it's ready when you get to the window. But this is doing the opposite because everyone ordering takes forever and instead of taking multiple orders it's one at a time. Never once has there been a line of vehicles between where you order and the window. Instead you wait 40-60minutes just to get to the spot you order. It's awful and whoever thought of this should be fired. My last straw was waiting 45 minutes only for them to give me the wrong food items. The part 15 times I have came here they have had this exact drive through thing going and I just can't do it anymore. read more

This location is small, to the point where it feels cramped with 5 people in line and 3-4 people sitting at the tables. It feels old and like they converted it from a location with comfy chairs to ones with tables that don't fit the space. During my 3pm-ish visit the barista was consistently friendly and welcoming (to everyone) despite a long line. Got my order fairly quickly and was lucky enough to find a table to send out some emails. read more

This Starbucks was the closest one to the White Sox and Dodgers stadium. We were able to find some seating outside with an umbrella. There was an elderly couple that came a little later that were looking for a place to sit, but the other tables were in the sun. One of the baristas was kind enough to give Danny a panini that was made but not claimed by a customer. It may have been forgotten about, but was going to get thrown away. I thought that was a very nice gesture and it should be acknowledged. I would recommend this particular Starbucks to anyone. read more

My energy levels were shutting down. 5 mins: Drove up, place my order, got my drink the way I want, and drove off as a happy camper. We have gone to this Starbucks every Sunday for the past 6 months. Today was the worst customer service we have ever received at this store! The girl making the drinks, who was not wearing a name tag, refused to even talk to my husband when he was asking where his drink was. A lady with 4 kids came in after us and received her drinks before us! After we finally got another person to talk to us he said it was because we had too many shots in our drinks. It's sad that the customer service has gone down the drain at this store and simply acknowledging a customer to let him know his drink was being made would have been so much better than ignoring him and rolling eyes. Probably one of the worst Starbucks around. Waited for about 25-30 minutes for a cold brew and never received. I had gone up to the register twice to ask about it and the first time they told me they were out of something and I ordered something different. The second time I went up to ask about it after multiple people that had gone in and ordered their drinks and were in and out before me i was told that they had made it already and that someone else must have taken it which I know is lie because I was standing there the whole time waiting for it to be out. This store is the absolute favorite! The baristas are not only the friendliest but they get it right all the time! Everyone has taken time to have a short conversation when I've come in.I kinda of like that they make a personal connection. LOL, I come in so often they know what I want before I order it now. The lines are worked quickly from both inside and the drive thru. My drinks are hot and delicious and come out perfect . My other half and I call them our little bit of heaven in a cup! When I feel hungry I've tried the baked goods and wasn't disappointed with anything so far. This is one of my favorite Starbucks that I often hang out at. I come at least once a week to read, use my laptop, or just to relax with a drink. The staff are really friendly, especially this one guy. I think he might be a manager or at least an assistant manager. They give me no problems, when I just hang out without ordering anything. When I do order something, it is always accurate and tastes great. Plus, the restroom and the store are clean and well kept. read more

We don't usually stop by this location, so I didn't think I would need to yelp the reviews...I should have. We needed a coffee break after driving around all day so we searched for the nearest Starbucks off the 101. Walk in and Nobody in line. Ordered and the Barista was pleasant and polite. Again, nobody in line but we waited for what seemed like 10 minutes, which sounds short but not when there's plenty of staff and nobody in line. I ordered the same drink I've had for 4 years. Caramel drizzle on top. For some reason they also added chocolate syrup on top of my caramel. I was ok with the issue because even though not what I wanted, they would fix it. I walked up to the counter where the 2 girls where chatting it up and looked right at me. While I smiled expecting them to stop talking and come over just 2 feet away but nothing. So I had to lean in and say excuse me, I didn't ask for chocolate on my drink. Finally, they look at me like how dare I interrupt their talk fun time. One of the girls takes my frapp, says no problem, and proceeds to remove the lid and starts scraping both the chocolate and caramel off my drink. Mind you there was no whip so as she is trashing out the syrup my drink is now also getting tossed out with the caramel and chocolate. But of course, as she leaned it over, the chocolate began to mix into my drink. All this made no sense to me, I just watched. I've never had someone grab my drink and just dump out the top. The very few times my drink was made incorrectly or given me someone else's by accident, they make a new one right away. She then dumps about a pound of just caramel on top of the left over drink and hands it back to me. I just stare in shock as I sway my cup filled with over filled caramel. The lid which she used to scrape out the top layers of my drink is now gross and dripping and sticky. Needless to say I had a couple of sips and tossed it out. My hands where so sticky I had to wrap napkins around it but it was just a mess. Not stopping there again. Always read ahead read more

Went to get coffee to go before my night shift at the hospital and the doors were locked at 9:10. The door and the paper sign on the window shows they're open till 10pm. Their website showed 10pm which is why I drove out of my way here. Three staff members were inside avoiding eye contact and casually chatting with each other as I stood there looking at the time confused. Two other cars came while I sat here writing the review and walked to the door with same results. Reading others review this is a trend at this location. If I had the time right now would report this to corporate. read more
