The only choice is an Americano. I can only assume they cater to the specialty drink crowd and black coffee is an afterthought. I'm not sure what coffee they are using, you would think 3 shots in probably about 8oz of total product would be ok? Not into being shown a tip screen for drive through coffee either, Even if the employee did tell me it was "totally optional". Yea I know. It might be that their specialty drinks and juices are great? That's not my thing so I'll never know. I do know that what is inferred as a drive through coffee based drink place should probably have the base product much closer to perfection or at least decent before building on it. McDonald's at half the price is easily twice the quality. It's unfortunate because I'm not going out of the way for the other premium coffee brand in town and I pass this place every day. Everything took a little longer to be served than most other coffee places I've patronized. The coffee was really good, the beignets were pretty good, and the service was acceptable. The Mardi Gras motif is fun and creates a festive atmosphere for folks enjoying their order in the dining area. On my second visit I learned they have a loyalty program, but only found out after paying for our order. This visit we had coffee and king cake. The king cake with cream cheese was really good. The coffee once again was good, too. I was told there was no way to get credit for my purchase since I already paid. Oh well... Prices are on the high side. More than Starbucks or Dunkin for sure! Perfect for a hot Florida day. What really keeps us coming back though is the baristas. They are always so friendly and somehow always know exactly what to recommend.
