Came here one morning when I was in town visiting family. I got a ice chai latte and a pastry of some sort, I think a cheese Danish. The vibe in the place was really nice, chill, and a few of their seating options were comfy couches. That's always my favorite. My chai was good, and they warmed up my Danish, which was also good. I have no complaints about this place, and you should definitely come support these guys over big business. read more

Came to Bon Beans to study and ended up staying quite a while. Loved the vibe and the decor. I ordered the banana nut muffin which was so yummy. I was having major anxiety over a test I had the next day so I opted out of caffeine and ordered the dragon fruit lemonade. It was so refreshing and delicious. Really bummed drive 5.5 miles from the freeway for fresh juices and smoothies only to find they had NADA! Only coffee and some lame drink called a fruit blender! I wish this were here when I was in college! It's extremely cute, cozy, and more than a coffee shop! I wasn't a huge coffee drinker in college so the fresh-pressed juice would have been my thing. They offered oat milk which is always a plus. Still can't get oat milk at startbucks! My first visit here was during the 2020 pandemic, so I will say that they are taking precautions, however, it is Pensacola, Florida. There are clear signs stating to wear a mask, but you can't stop these "good ol boy" anti-maskers from coming it since 9 mile road is close to the woods. I wondered if the barista would say anything, but HubbyStanks reminded me that she was alone and the guys looked like things could turn aggressive quickly, so he didn't blame her for not making them leave or put on a mask. In the end, this was a decent coffee spot, the service was super friendly and aside from some stragglers that weren't a part of the college crowd that appears to study here, it was a lovely place to be. read more

Aside from Coffee, they offer pressed juice, natural smoothies, pastries. I enjoyed my experience here. The server Shaylan was friendly, offered suggestions, She provided fantastic service. The place is inviting and comfortable with plenty of seating. Loved that they have non dairy options and offer a variety of sweeteners including agave my personal favorite. Bathroom was clean and even included some lotion for my ashy elbows. Its little things like this that do it for me. Bon Beans Coffee is my new go-to spot for my coffee fix. The coffee was excellent. The bagels delicious. The muffins out of this world. One of our party members is lactose intolerant - No Problem! His hot chocolate was a big hit. The person at the counter was outstanding. We were here for a few hours and every person was individually made to to feel welcomed, and valued. Now that is a true art rarely seen, understood or practiced. A perfect fit for the eclectic (non-big) store coffee joint with sofas and games to play and books to borrow or exchange with one you may want to pass on. Wish we lived in the neighborhood because this would be our Central Perk for sure. read more

Great little coffee shop! Staff was absolutely fantastic and very helpful with ordering. The quaint atmosphere is very laid back with couches, tables and even board games to play. Coffee drinks were made well. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that I like a very bold, intense coffee and ours seemed to be a bit more mild. They advertise that they have organic fresh smoothies and use real fruit not sugary syrups and that it's healthy. Nope not the case they have slushies similar to a gas station that have tons of loaded sugary syrup no real fruit and they have coffee that is it. They need to update their profile on yelp because they are advertising things they do not offer. Wasted my time driving over here thinking they had real fruit smoothies not fake sugary syrup junk food. If you like gas station drinks come here. If you want real healthy food go elsewhere. I don't do ratings because stars are superficial. Yelp is forcing me to comply otherwise, so 5 stars it is. Friendliest atmosphere for a coffee shop and nothing feels phony about it. I go to Bon Beans when I'm having good day and when I'm having a bad one. That's what important, because anybody can drink coffee or tea and feel caffeinated, but not everyone can leave in a better mood just cause they went to a place. I wish I had discovered this place sooner! Since I work by The Drowsy Poet, I'm accustomed to getting my lattes there, but I accepted long ago that their lattes, as well as Starbucks's and Dunkin' Donuts's, would likely never meet my personal standard for how lattes should taste and feel. I try not to be snooty about coffee: I truly believe each coffee joint has something special to offer. But I also have to confess that I've been disappointed--disappointed that if I wanted a "true" latte, I couldn't. I had yet to find one in Pensacola--until today. I couldn't stop telling my husband how good my latte tasted while we casually played Chinese checkers (another unique perk at Bon Beans: tabletop games!). The milk was smooth, sweet, and rather creamy (the barista said she used 2% milk). It was definitely worth the few extra dollars. Bon Beans, I've decided, is my new favourite venue for a lazy, Saturday afternoon date with my husband. read more

Bon Beans is for sure a coffee shop you can go to every day and not get bored. The baristas offer a great variety of coffee drinks and even more teas. Milk substitutes (almond, soy, or coconut milk) are also offered at an extra price. Make sure to go every Tuesday for BOGO! Out of the numerous coffee shops I've been to. Bon Beans stands out for it's cute and welcoming interior. There are plenty of board games and books to read along with tables and couches to study. The best drink I've gotten so far is the cold brew with sugar free vanilla flavoring. I like my cold brews strong and not too bitter; this one was perfect. I would not recommend the dark chocolate flavoring; it did not taste like dark chocolate and instead more like candy and did not hide the bitterness of the coffee well. I've also gotten the mocha frappuccino which had a rich milk chocolate flavor; I had hoped the coffee taste would be more apparent. Most recently, I tried the pumpkin spice latte and was not pleased. The latte tasted nothing like pumpkin spice and was exceptionally bitter. Perhaps I have high expectations after having a Starbucks PSL, but I would not recommend this drink from Bon Beans. read more

I got a light roast coffee with steamed half and half. One of the best cups of coffee I've had in Pensacola. It's just really smooth and they had me at the Chem ex pour overs. Great customer service The environment is nice and cozy. We sat down for a game of chess. It's also really good for studying as well, they have plenty of seating. Lots of different tea flavors! They carry the Rishi brand of teas which are excellent. I noticed right away that all the ingredients they were using were of very good quality so I don't mind that is it a little expensive for the smoothies. 10$ for the large one. My bf got a chunky monkey smoothie and liked the fact that it wasn't too sweet but still good. Will be coming again for sure! They have a pretty nifty and hassle free rewards program.
