Went at brunch time on Sunday. I have to say the crowds weren't bad. There is a little shop upstairs with some kitchenware and drinks which was aesthetic. They have an outdoor patio upstairs, which was perfect for a nice weather day. I had the Julia Child croissant sandwich with egg and bacon, which was delicious. I tend to judge brunch places on their cheesy grits...and these did not disappoint!! Latte was also very good. I tried an imported Bellini (Prosecco + peach puree), which was fantastic. Nice drive thru or walk up place! They have plenty of seating, a bathroom (the soap was out today), and a decent menu with coffee, smoothie, tea, and a few specialty drink options. The limited time strawberry shortcake matcha latte was out of this world, crazy sweet, but so delicious! The smoothie was only ok, there were plenty of raspberry seeds, haha. Decent but horribly bland / flavorless coffee, my cappuccino was like 3 sips and they barely put a single shot of espresso in it. They do have incredible breakfast sandwiches (served til 11am), the croissants were dry and tough, clearly baked the day before, and apparently valued at 4 dollars, I might as well just make my way to Starbucks for the same quality. The staff were like operationally slow, like it took them 8 minutes to make a latte and cappuccino to go... and the cashier was unaware what a Panau chocolate was. The interior is decent and spacious, but kinda annoying to navigate when there are even 4 people at the front desk... you gotta do this whole stupid loop that makes me feel like I'm at a lunch counter. Visiting the area and was recommended to try out the olive oils. I was greeted immediately by the friendly staff and was given little paper cups and bread to taste the different olive oils. I was blown away on how many different olive oils and various combinations there were. Some were very interesting but delicious! Some of my favorites were habanero honey, cinnamon pear, pineapple, and garlic. We ended up taking 6 small bottles homes. Definitely recommend to check out. read more

The interior of this place is cute. I'd come here again to study inside or something, lots of seating and quiet. There is spice/curated cooking oil shop in the same building which is cool! We got the rose latte and the mama's special or something. I thought they were going to be cute colored like in the promo picture, but they were just the colors of a regular latte: brown. A really fun shop to swing by and check out! We spent a couple of hours here lol they have a great variety of olive oils that you can sample, so I ended up leaving with 3 bottles! They have a kitchen/home goods/wine store upstairs so it's definitely worth checking out. Service was good, just be patient if they're really busy with customers. I did get an iced latte at the restaurant next door which was just ok. It was really sweet, so I'd ask for less syrup next time. I've been craving a good breakfast sandwich for a few days and seen that this place had sandwiches. Ok, let's take a trip crosstown and give it a go. The outside has a nice setup to relax and chat, or let the kids have fun. I liked that. I ordered a Bacon egg and cheese which is said to be NY Style. Perfect! I'm a New Yorker. So the sandwich came out rather fast and piping hot, semi-toasted with almost a microwave steam coming from the bun. First thing I noticed when I opened the sandwich was that the microwaveable bacon was just tossed on the egg, meaning if I didn't do some rearranging, all the bacon would've ended up in one bite. Secondly, the egg reminded my of the eggs Dunkin' Donuts uses, precooked in a circle. Lastly, the bagel was actually pretty good, just need to be toasted and not microwaved. So a piece of advice... drop the NY Style from the description. NY'ers would never use microwaved bacon and whatever type of egg that is. Keep the bagels, those are good. Basically put in the work to make a really breakfast sandwich, this will strengthen your breakfast sandwich game. Recommended for coffee and a nice place to sit and chill. The vibe here is absolutely amazing. Especially if you visit in the morning, on a weekday. The great coffee is a definite plus but the atmosphere is the best part. Several years ago, this coffee was absolutely delicious. Recently, I ordered a 16 oz Valentine's Day themed drink, an iced mocha with strawberry cold foam. I am a regular of the Brew Thru. I come almost every Saturday and/or Sunday. The coffee is always great, and the baristas are always so friendly, but it's really frustrating how they never seem to abide by their posted hours. There have been several times I have pulled up well after 8am on a Sunday (8:15-8:30), and they're not open. If opening at 8am isn't feasible, I wish they'd change their hours to so that way I don't leave disappointed and without coffee. read more

Bodacious book store is one of my favorite spots downtown. Their drinks are really good, especially their vanilla cold brew with lavender cold foam. The ambiance is fantastic as it's usually pretty quiet which is great for studying. The service is awesome and always with a smile! I'm so enchanted with this little tiny bookstore. Rosanne is a warm and friendly bookseller and truly added a sparkle to our day. I am returning next week for a book. Lunch was fantastic. The dressing for the salad was delectable and my pesto panini was delicious. The barista gave us helpful info about Parking Validation and advised us to use another exit - thank you! Came here for breakfast after reading other reviews. It was incredibly delicious. I got a Julia Child croissant breakfast sandwich with the grits. The croissant was the best I've ever tasted,very flaky and buttery, grits were yummy. Hubby got the bagel breakfast sandwich and said it was the best he's tasted and the home fries were delicious. My Fitness Coach and I met here for a post-workout pick-me-up. We arrived during their lunch rush, so all the seating downstairs was taken. We were able to find a table upstairs with a nice view of all the housewares and gifts, so we enjoyed our meal while window shopping and admiring all the cute items on display. On the contrary, the iced vanilla brevé was so weak I thought they'd made me an iced vanilla milk. * OLIVE & ROSEMARY QUICHE Made with their house olive mix, rosemary, tomatoes, and Mediterranean cheese. Good consistency , not dried out, and the rosemary wasn't overpowering. I thought this was really tasty! * BODACIOUS GRITS Made with Gouda cheese, green onion, roasted corn, gremolata olive oil, and heavy cream. It was creamy and the well-balanced flavors made this one of the best cheese grits I've had. I came here thinking that it would be an ideal place for two grown people with problems in need of resolution could meet and be greeted with silence and stillness, but I was wrong. It has been several years since I came here, so I was surprised to see there was a bistro/café to order from and equally surprised that there was an upstairs component. However, it was not the quaint and quiet that I had remembered. Instead it was hustling & bustling with life and noise... We did eat here... it wasn't great... (Yo, but the grits were out of this freaking world, Idk how they did that). I ordered the California tea and it was good, nothing special. The service was excellent as you can expect from a Studer owned anything. Overall, we spent $40 on a so-so brunchish meet. Not great. This review if for the bistro/café/tea house/coffee house which ever it is supposed to be. It doesn't reflect the bodacious olive, because wine and cheese is my fave and they will only ever get 10/5 stars. read more

Absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere is fantastic. It was very chill. I could see myself becoming a regular quickly for the delicious food and perfect work space. It's generally quiet and there are plenty of tables and seating areas to accommodate small and large groups. The food was superb! In reading the menu I thought the dishes they had were a little mundane and simple. However once I had my order I completely changed my mind. Somehow the leveled up grits with eggs and bacon to something incredible that I would never have imagined. I normally don't like grits but this place made something that I could eat every day. One thing I noticed is that this place has a lot of different departments. There is an entire section of the first floor that is dedicated to different types of olive oil that they make in house. The other floors have different kitchen tools on sale and cooking classes. Definitely interested and will be coming back again. read more

This place was fantastic! The coffee was wonderful. I loved the separate areas for seating, cooking, specialty olive oils and cooking class. I wandered upstairs to the rooftop to enjoy my coffee while soaking up the shade, under the covered portion of the rooftop seating area. Once I was finished I went back downstairs and met Michelle, who graciously helped me choose the lemongrass hand cream. That stuff is well worth the price! It's wonderful, smells great and stays on your hands. I will most likely be back tomorrow! read more
