This used to be my families go to Starbucks for YEARS since I was in high school. As the years have gone by the staff has gotten progressively worse. Closing HOURS early before they are supposed to and refusing to make certain drinks. This has happened multiple times!!!! They blame that they are "under staffed" and are unable to make certain drinks. This is unacceptable. I will not be going to this Starbucks any longer. I will gladly drive 30 minutes to another. I really enjoy coming to this Starbucks! All the baristas are always so considerate and are happy to make recommendations if you have a hard time choosing something from the menu. I'd personally recommend their vanilla bean and s'more fraps! This is a strange Starbucks. Inside is spacious, well-maintained and comfortable. However, because of it's location on Route 17 and being the only drive thru Starbucks in the area, it is often absolutely swamped. Not unusual to spend 15 minutes on the drive thru line, which kind of eliminated the convenience of drive thru. read more

So they recently installed this "facetime" order screen where you can actually see the barista and they can see you. Kind of cool, kind of scary. I asked if they can see me and she said "we can always see you even before" which made me automatically think of the messy "out of coffee and xanax days" that I've been there. read more

Update to my review. Happy to say Starbucks corporate must have listened to everyone's complaints. What a big (positive) change the last 4 times I've visited this location. Service in the drive thru was fast and accurate. Biggest problem before was the ridiculously long wait times and then messing up the orders. Glad it's better. read more

I used to live here when I was a resident! Of all the Starbucks in the area, this has to be one of the best, especially if you're looking to stick around for a few hours and do work. The store is very large so they have plenty of seating and also a lot of parking spots. They also have a lot of outlets scattered throughout which is great. The baristas are great, they have all been super friendly to me and some even knew me by name since I was there so often! Overall great store, ample parking, good seating, and fast service. read more

I'm sitting in this Starbucks at the moment and felt compelled to review it. I mean, Starbucks is Starbucks....in terms of ambiance and selection of beverages/food if you've been to one you've been to them all. However, this location has the most miserable staff I've ever seen AND the (crappy) music is on SO LOUD I feel like I'm at some sort of emo concert. It's 10:36 PM and I have been trying to get service at the drive through window for 10 minutes. I've driven around the building twice to see what the employee inside was doing. I would go inside but I wasn't planning on leaving my car and don't feel appropriate walking around in pajamas. She has been cleaning up, early, the entire time. This is not my local Starbucks, but I've been there a few times. It's really conveniently located off of Rte 17 so it's great if you're out and about and want a break in the middle of shopping in Paramus. I really love that it has a drive-thru. read more

Not what it used to be, for years this was THE best Starbucks around, now most of the drinks are weak, the iced and hot coffee are lackluster and just disappointing. This place started going downhill back when they made it a drivethru location, quantity went up a bit, quality went down a lot. Love the drive thru! Makes my day so much easier. And every time I go inside to meet with my friends, the staff is always more than helpful and nice. Only complaint is that even though I understand they need to clean the floors.. almost every time I try to go and sit down the guy who mops is dragging tables across the floor so you can hardly hear the person your with. The worst ever! Everytime we go to this Starbucks it's an awful experience! This last time was the worst! My daughter ordered a new drink on the menu called Youthberry White Tea Granita. There were all young kids working there who had no clue how to make anything and kept us waiting 15 minutes EVENTHOUGH WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE ON LINE and gave her a hot berry tea!!! When we showed him the picture on their counter of what it is supposed to look like he took it back and after another 10 minutes gave her a light pink barely flavored ice water! Worst part is the manager on duty who looked all of maybe 18 helped him with both drinks! Also, as we were waiting so long we observed how disgusting and dirty it was behind the counter! I walk in and ask for an unsweetened tea and I use a corporate card and need to keep receipts. The printer was messed up and apparently needs to be fixed and the Batista did not know how to fix it. She asks the manager or whatever she was and she says. She cannot give me a receipt (?). She is in charge and cannot print one out? The guy at the other register printed one out for me. Normally this is a quiet comfortable Starbucks. Get your drink, do a little work or study out of the office or house. However, I've been here an hour and a half today and every employee who stops in, takes break, or just wants to hang out do so, to the dismay of anyone sitting in the area or any customer waiting for a drink. They are LOUD, rude and obnoxious. People waiting for drinks they paid for have to wait for the freebies the employees get and with the screaming/flirting childish loudness, why come here at all. Three different people took my order then I had to repeat it to the cashier who wasn't paying attention. I brought my own bottle so that I wouldn't need a cup, fighting pollution must not be in your protocol since they wrote it on a cup and put it upside down on my bottle. If you're gonna spend $5 on a coffee, the LEAST they can do is get the order correct. Yet, almost every single time I go, I wait in like for 10 minutes just to get the wrong drink. It's pathetic. If your employees can't stop gossiping the entire time they're making a drink, thereby making the wrong one, fire them. Simple as that. There are many more hardworking people who deserve that job. Always freezing on the inside. It was literally 78 outside and God only knows inside. If you see your customers fully WINTER geared up ONLY in your store. TURN DOWN THE AIR. This is not my typical star bucks I visit.....was not good at all. Very slow drive thru. I asked the barrista to fill my mug.....mind you it's a 16oz Starbucks mug specifically made for grande sized coffee which is 16oz....she's told me at least 3 times that the grande won't all fit in my mug....seems like she just wanted to convince me not to use my mug, not sure why....but she just kept saying I dont think this will fit. Flipped mug over starred at the bottom looked inside.....I was so annoyed I didn't even give her a response since more than a few hundred times that mug was filled with a grande sized coffee.... she finally after couple minutes of non sense and of me just with a bewildered look on my face she filled my mug with the grande pike and of course the grande fit perfectly. Anyway, customer service was not typical of a star bucks. At least the coffee was perfect which is the only reason I did not give a singe star..... read more

Giving this 2 stars only because of the drive thru which is useful when you have 2 kids in car seats. Whether you go into the store or use the drive they, be sure to taste your drink and make sure you received the right one. I get the wrong drink at least twice a week. The staff depends on the day sometimes they are ok sometimes they are rude. They all act like you're inconveniencing them by going in there to get a drink at times even with please and thank you'd a few of the baristas are difficult to speak with. read more
