Your choices and the cold nitro. Little pearls at the bottom

One of only 2 Starbucks in the US testing the "popping pearls" of coffee. First, the pearls are not boba. They are not chewy. If you have ever gone to a frozen yogurt place that has little syrup filled balls that have strawberry or mango flavored juice/syrup in them, that is exactly what "popping pearls" is like. Except these are filled with coffee flavored syrup. I got both and ordered them half sweet. Nitro cold brew was good. Glad i got half sweet as it was still quite sweet. Chai latte was superb. The coffee pearls added just the right touch. The coffee flavor really enhances the flavor of chai and they are terrific together. When you drink these and use a straw, be careful as you will suck up all the pearls at once. Better to stir and suspend them first. I hope they will offer these in more places. I would get the chai again.

Okay, so talk to Google Maps Starbucks! We stumbled upon this hidden gem of a Starbucks while searching the area on our way to the Living Desert. It wasn't on our Google map and we had a huge debate over having gone there before. My husband insisted it existed and he was right!! We were wandering around a parking lot in despair when we spotted it at the end of the road. I said, "I may be crazy, but that looks like STARBUCKS signage to me." And sure enough, like a mirage in the desert, we approached it from the parking lot and found a space at this busy strip mall location. Once inside, it was nice and typical and quiet enough for working, but the best feature was the huge covered patio off the front entrance. My Carmel Macchiato Frappe was delectable, particularly so since I had been craving one since our local Starbuck's was out of that seasonal flavor last week. (No Gingerbread this year, my favorite seasonal flavor). My drink looked so tempting, other customers asked what it was...and got it! Fully fortified with holiday delight, we left for the delights of the Living Desert. We will definately stumble back here again, if we can find it!

They have a pretty creative menu with a lot of unique syrups and drink concoctions so it made it hard for me to choose. I asked the worker for her recommendations and she kindly explained the menu to me. I was sold when I heard about the cafe de olla being made in-house and fresh at that -- she pointed to the vat right behind her. So, I got the iced cafe de olla latte and it was the perfect sweetness with hints of spice that added flavor to the coffee. I would order this again and wanted to come back here the same day. There was no line when I went but they was a line forming when I was leaving. There's no seating area so it's more of a grab-and-go place.

It was one of those mornings where you need caffeine before the world officially wakes up. I rolled…read moreinto the mall around 10:40 a.m., knowing the shops inside didn't open until 11. The funny thing? While the retail was still shuttered, the cafés and entertainment spots were already buzzing. That contrast -- empty storefronts on one side, the smell of fresh coffee on the other -- gave the whole place a quiet but inviting vibe. I walked into Xanti's and ordered two drinks: a strong macchiato (because sometimes you just need that punch) and a hot lavender matcha for balance. Total was $11.25, which felt more than fair. I tried paying with a $100 bill, but the barista politely explained they couldn't take it. No stress, no attitude -- just professional and smooth. Service really stood out here. The barista, a friendly guy with calm energy, not only took the order but noticed I'd settled into my phone at the table. A couple of minutes later, he personally brought both drinks over. That simple gesture made the experience feel way more personal than you'd expect from a mall coffee stop. As for the drinks? The macchiato was bold, clean, and exactly the kind of kick I needed. The lavender matcha surprised me -- creamy, floral, not too sweet, just enough to feel like a treat. Together, they struck a perfect balance: one to wake me up, one to slow me down. So yeah, it's technically "just" a coffee spot in a mall, but don't let that fool you. Between the timing, the vibe, and the barista's extra touch, it was one of those experiences that sticks.

Lots of parking in a massive lot …read more.. Had our eye on this local coffee spot when we came into town for an event. In hind site it is waaaaaay more than coffee and I want to come back for a meal. Took my mom and my wife here after lunch for a coffee and dessert, they sat us in the "Harry Potter" table and that was a nice treat. My mom got some elaborate pistachio iced latte and it was a really nice treat, especially in the heat. I got the tuxedo cold brew and that was also a great afternoon treat drink in the heat. My wife went with traditional coffee and it came in a side pot and was also really good. I ordered the cinnamon twist to enjoy with the coffee and expected a simple twist. This came warm and sticky with wallops of whip cream and was really and amazing dessert. After sharing that we went with the suggestion of the waitress and got something that had peaches and strawberries and was heaven on a plate. Im not even sure what it was but by then realized that everything here was excellent. My only regret is we came after lunch and now wish would have came here for lunch too. Next time I want to try the meals. The staff all worked well together and ran the place well with great energy and very helpful. As I get a bit older adding "clean bathrooms" is getting more important and they take good care of those rooms too. If your in the area know they have EXCELLENT coffee and much MUCH more.

The eclectic mismatched cups were be beautiful as was the presentation...same thing with the food! We were in town for a girls weekend and the first day 3 of us went on a whim because it was close to our resort and looked really interesting. The whimsical eclectic decor was so cute and fun, the food was delicious and the service was very friendly and attentive on a Friday morning. We loved it so much we decided to bring our whole group back on a Saturday morning. They told us to make a reservation and recommended the table near the front. So we reserved that. It was a bit disappointing that when we arrived the next day with the large group they didn't seem to be ready for us. They wanted to put us at a different table because they had pulled a section of table out to accommodate a solo diner. But they did eventually remedy that so we could sit at the original table. Now granted they had warned that it gets busy on a Saturday but it wasn't super busy when we arrived, so a little surprising that we were seated for about an hour before we got our order taken and no one came earlier to ask us about beverages first before coming to take out food order it took a long time to get our drinks and even longer to get our food...and also surprised that no one ever acknowledged the long wait times...but we were having fun catching up since we don't all see each other often, so easily able to pass the time and everyone agreed it was worth the wait. The menu is pretty extensive literally something for everyone from sweet to savory breakfast or combination of both. Some of the highlights were the breakfast burrito, linguica and eggs, anything that had the fresh flour tortillas, really. The berry Belgian waffle & biscuits and gravy were all raved about as well. Everyone also loved the take on the black beans, looked like refried but maybe with a bit of cotija cheese mixed in as almost a light purple color. We would all definitely come again and have already recommended to friends just not on a Saturday unless you go when they open or maybe with a smaller group.
