I have no idea who the manager is in this particular Starbucks but the mostly young people working behind the counter need proper training. All I ever buy here is a regular black coffee, nothing fancy. However, even the most basic order can take a long time for some reason. I can never figure out the fastest way to get my BASIC coffee. When I walk in to order I usually stand and wait while everybody behind the counter is catering to drive-thru orders completely ignoring me. When I order ahead on the app like today I still have to wait a ridiculous amount of time to get my regular coffee. Like today I had to wait 15 minutes or more. Nobody was in the store (image included to show the empty parking lot). Nobody was in the drive-thru either and I am sitting and waiting for the app order to process. Meanwhile I notice three baristas joking around until someone finally asked me what I was waiting for. Evidently, my order was sitting at the coffee maker with everyone ignoring that fact. Good quick service. Never a crowd. Enjoy what I order and get it right. It's a smaller size store but has a few touristy cups.

I've been going to this location for some time now and have not had any issues with staff or quality. There was a few hiccups when Covid was really effecting staff and delivery's making certain items out of stock and having drive thru open only. Wish the App could tell you when the inside is closed but that's a corporate issue. As for now this location it seems to be back to normal operations and friendly as can be. The drive thru can get slammed so try to order ahead if you can, most locations in Palm coast tend to get that way so mobile order has become so much more convenient. Now hopefully Starbucks brings back the Turkey stuffing panini this year!!!! read more

Ordered a tall Pike Coffee. It was so weak, we promptly discarded it after leaving...not bothering to go back. I thought the coffee strength was computerized or pre measured to get the same results???? However, the barista was very nice and gave good service. Fast easy service. 3 spots to choose in PC, but no real choice after noon for a specialty coffee from a coffee shop. Unless pay more for pour over. Gotcha! Be aware, one cup may be fresh and taste great, next trip they pour the old last drops of a brew and tastes burnt. No consistency. This particular location has become a favorite of mine (there are three possible locations in the area). I typically do not frequent Starbucks due to high prices and slow service, but I've been inside of this location several times recently and I'm impressed. They can run slow, but it's because they are literally overwhelmed with orders. Despite that, the coffee and orders are always correct, they are extremely friendly, and this staff hustles the best they can to keep up with the demand at this location. Outstanding! Some of the best water you can get. Very clean store and the employees are very nice, I got my water very quick. It was a small cup, but I didn't ask for a specific size so this may very depending on wether you ask for a larger size. It had ice filled about half of the cup with no lemon. Very cold and crisp, and seems to be filtered to near perfection. A very refreshing water that was absolutely free and completely over-shadows Dunkin' Donuts water which you will have to pay for. I highly suggest if you are thirsty on a hot day this being your place to stop for a quick cup of water. read more

Stopped in early today, they didn't have the ovens on, girl at the register seemed confused. Other girl didn't know how long it would take to start up oven. Coffee was cold, my non-fat vanilla latte was made with skinny syrup when asked to correct to reg syrup oretty sure they just re-Did the labor because it has that fake aftertaste. I just moved here from a major city and thought a small-town Palm Coast store would have a great feeling when you go in. I used to love going to my local Starbucks, but I've lost that. I was shocked when I went through the drive-through for the first time. The line was twice as slow, and when I got to the window I recognized a neighbor who worked there (I only know a few people here). I asked the guy (Frankie) in the window if he could tell her "hello," and he told me it was "illegal to tell me who worked there." I explained to him it was my neighbor and he repeated it again like if he gave any information he was breaking some major rule. He was so rude it was ridiculous. Another time I went in and overheard a leader calling one of the workers "you" instead of her name and witnessed her grabbing things out of the employee's hands. It was borderline abusive. I don't see smiles on the faces of the employees every time I go in. Someone needs to clean house on the leadership of this store. It makes me sad I moved here and I miss my old Starbucks friends. read more

This location is wonderful- the staff are all friendly, work hard, and they do it fast! Our barista in the drive thru even asked us if we wanted our muffin that we ordered heated up. Not many Starbucks offer that anymore so we greatly appreciated it. They also got our order correct which is always appreciated too. I highly recommend this location! :) read more
