Ordered online for pickup and it was ready by the time I got there. Indoor only no drive through. My drink were perfect, however what I wanted to order the app said it was unavailable, but when I got there I heard people ordering it and getting it done. Pretty small location in a big shopping center, besides AMC Theaters in Whit Marsh Avenue shopping center. There's barely any space and the two times I've visited it has been packed! Twice I've ordered through the Starbucks mobile application in order to avoid the "traffic" of people and making a long line. Twice we have had our orders mixed up and baristas excused themselves because they had ran out of salted caramel sprinkles or other yummy stuff that are huge ingredients within specific drinks. Baristas are very apologetic and quickly do their best to fix your drinks. So it's an ok place to get your Starbucks favorites, but remember to take your patience with you and make sure you check your order before leaving. read more

Starbucks has a secret menu and this is the only location that I've been to that knows how to make just about all of the drinks on that menu (or is willing to try). My favorite "secret menu" drink is the Snickerdoodle hot chocolate. During COVID when there was a cinnamon dolce shortage, one of the baristas here was able to make the Snickerdoodle hot chocolate anyway by mixing up a few other ingredients. The only thing open before 11 on Sunday's in the Avenue is this Starbucks so I went. I was pleasantly surprised that they had the holiday flavors and cups ready to go! The wait was a bit longer but that's just because they were very busy. There was a furry friend that morning and I love how they made this woman and her dog a "pupachino" it was so cute and sweet. This review applies to their evening performance - I have no idea how good or bad they are during the day. This Starbucks claims to be open until 10:00 pm but while their door was open when I went in at 9:15 pm they were on a restricted menu. I placed a simple order for a coffee and a warm croissant but was told (somewhat abruptly) that they'd turned their oven off and they refused to warm my food. Apparently they were surprised or simply didn't care that anybody would want a warm croissant on a freezing cold evening. In my opinion, if a store states it's open until a specified time it should have its full menu available until that same time, or at least shortly before. If not, they should have a sign warning customers they restrict their menu after a certain time. I was there a full 45 minutes before closing and they'd already stopped serving warm food. I left, disappointed and without getting anything. read more

This is the closest real Starbucks to the Essex/Dundalk area (sadly). The employees are always super friendly. I highly recommend downloading the app and placing your order ten minutes before you plan to arrive. Since it's one of the only ones in the area, it's always packed! Dirty. It's 325pm Monday and this place is messy, dirty, and a bit nasty. I don't fault busy employees but the overall standard of customer service by management. The embarrassment I experienced walking into Starbucks Was overly disturbing. The supervisor Megan was so rude yelling for me to close the door before I could even walk in. All my husband and I wanted was a small hot coffee and a salted caramel mocha Frappuccino and was given the wrong iced drink. when I mentioned to the purple haired barista the frappaccino drink wasn't right, he got angry and dumped my drink in front of me and talked about me to the other barista. the drink still wasn't made correctly but I didn't say anything. I never write reviews about Starbucks because they are all pretty much the same. But the customer service at this location is absolutely superb. The baristas were pleasant to interact with and even brought my drink and food to my table once it was prepared. I went in during a busy time and expected to wait, but when people kept coming and leaving with their drinks while I waited, I started to get frustrated. I finally got my kids drinks, but still had to wait for two more drinks that simply weren't coming. I am just confused by this because they put your cups together when you order and even write your name on them. After inquiring about the drinks several times, we still didn't get them. I would think that you would make your mistake a priority but was instead given attitude. I was looking forward to strolling around outside on a chilly evening with my family and some Starbucks but instead went home annoyed. I work in the food industry and always try to have my customers leave happy. This barista simply did not care and continued to make drinks for other customers while telling us ours were coming up. I have been going to this Starbucks faithfully for about two years and I've actuallu always had a great experience. It wasn't until this morning when i came in that the service wasn't as great as usual. The cashier (didn't catch her name but brown hair,glasses and in her mid 20s) wasn't too friendly. I inquired about the bagels and looked through the case for an alternative but was rushed to pay as if there was a line behind me and there was not! She stepped away from the machine and because she rushed it didn't take my payment. I stood in line waiting for my drink as 3 people told me that my card didn't go through. I re ran the same card with a different girl who i actually always worked with and is always extremely nice! It wasn't until i saw how the same girl talked to her in a condensing tone that i realized that she was just genuinely being rude for no reason at all. I think it was just perhaps a bad day for her but she made me really uncomfortable coming to a place i frequent where the people are genuinely nice no matter the time of day. I second the review that said people here can be rude. We didn't have any problems with the staff, but we did encounter a suuuuuper b*tchy, entitled, hypocritical, and aggressive mother here. She berated other patrons with "Maybe you shouldn't reproduce" because not everyone thought her child was a Precious, Precious Princess when the child was shrieking shrilly every so often and, god forbid, looked up when it happened. It's called instinct: Loud noises attract attention. Nobody said anything to her, yet she felt the need to mutter about them loudly "under her breath" to herself. read more
