Common ground is always bustling and they have a lot of tables and main sitting area. The bathroom here is super cute with a giant pink flamingo mural and for how busy it does they maintain it really well. They offer their bathroom two customers of Maillard Pastries, which is across the street which I love. There are a few diagonal parking spaces in front of the building, and I believe there's additional parking around back as well. I was here for an art show. it's really cool charmed kitchen partners with Baltimore Art Gallery to change out the art on their walls, and it's available for sale and it's all to support local artists. The Portuguese wine that I normally buy for $9 was $14, but again there's a little bit of a service fee here since it's like a local corner store. I was so happy to see that I could buy Taharka brother's ice cream here because they recently pulled out a Broadway market, and I was having to drive outside of fells point but now I can just walk to this convenience store! The food has always been solid here, but I was so incredibly shocked at the grilled chicken Caesar salad honestly, I'm still thinking about the wrap and I want to get another one desperately. The house salad, which is an upcharge of four dollars was really delicious as well. Their decor is to die for, shelves with interesting books, eclectic seating, and even imported Carpet Company floor tiles. The coffee was a bit pricy, I got an iced oatmilk latte with one of their housemade syrups and it ended up being over $9. For the price, it was certainly delicious, but coffee prices are getting out of hand lately! Service was very kind and helpful. They offer paranthas, which is like a South Asian quesadilla, bread stuffed with fillings and toasted. They offer free wifi as well, which was useful because I wanted to do some computer work while I was there. The cafe also connects to the actual Carpet Company storefront as well, which opened at the same time as the cafe. There is a giant metallic pyramid in the center and the whole room feels very minimalistic yet artsy. Despite there being few things to look at, everything that was in there had a story or was fascinating. Again, merch can be a bit on the pricier side, but quality is outstanding.
