Typical Starbucks, there's not anything special that sets it apart. There were only two people working with a good amount of customers for a busy day near Halloween in Mew Hope Pennsylvania. The staff was good although they appeared tired and overwhelmed. I blame Starbucks management as they make so much profit and understaff the stores everywhere. Good selection of coffee and tea. Just ordered a peach tranquilly hot tea which was good. At least the place was clean although the napkin holders at the station for sugar, napkins etc. were completely empty. I'd ordered an artery clogging Zlappocheeno, wondering where the cardiologist coupon was and sat in the empty lounge and became engrossed in photos of Queen Elizabeth's Double Rainbow over Buckingham Palace today. It can be tough to find a place to park (err it has been any time i'm ever there, i'm sure its much less of a hassle during a tourist lull) but if you head right after the bridge, you should be able to find an out-of-the-way street spot as long as you don't mind a little walk back. For coffee, I do not mind. During today's visit I was a little bummed that they didn't have a fresh vat of Christmas Blend (my favorite cold-weather coffee) that I could stick directly into a vein of my choosing, but I did manage to bold my day up with a bit of Italian Roast. If you can get a seat outside, relax a bit, eat some Internet, and watch cars run the red light just after the bridge into town over the Delaware. Surprisingly enough I've only been here once (I think). The space was small but very clean and really light and airy, despite its dark brick exterior. There is a small area for seating, just a few tables. My drink was really good but the staff didn't seem to care much about the customers. They were definitely more into their own conversations because they did not engage with any of the three parties that came in, which was really disappointing to experience. It almost felt like you were burdening them by being there. This place is usually mobbed on the weekend, but on the other hand, there's nothing better than strolling down Main Street with a hot cup of coffee on a cool fall day. Drinks are made with care, and some of the servers are really friendly (Jess was so nice and called us by name, which I wasn't expecting). They've got a public bathroom you can use too. Service and drinks are well made here but there are some flaws to this Starbucks. The seating area has like no windows. I felt like I was sitting a box. The restroom lines are usually long and restrooms are sometimes out of order. Many of the tourist who come visit New Hope use Starbucks as a public restroom. Verdict - Great location and if you wanna try some whacky secret menu flavors, the people here can try their best at making those drinks. I tried some cotton candy drink and it really tasted like cotton candy. There is also outdoor seating here and Lambertville is right across the bridge. I know this might sound a little odd... since every Starbucks is/should be exactly the same... but the New Hope location is my favorite Starbucks of all time! Each and every time I've visited this location they have made my iced venti non-fat 3 pump Cinnamon dolca latte correctly. I can't tell you how many times I have ordered this drink only to get a huge cup of something that tasted like dirty water. Not here at New Hope. Plus the staff is friendly, but not nosey. I am a regular at Starbucks. 5 days a week I was going for my morning breve latte, that's about $5.25 a day, times 4 weeks, that's $105. a month. And However, if my husband and grandkids are with me it is much more as they usually want something to eat and often times a thermos and reuseable to go cup! Recently, I went in and upon ordering my coffee I discovered it was twice the usual price. When I questioned the person behind the counter about this I was told "yes prices had increased", "by double?" I inquired (almost just paying it). When another employee looked at the register and asked if I ordered one or two? I said one. He realized I'd been charged twice. He apologized explaining the girl on register was brand new. No worries. We are all new employees at one time or another in our lives and mistakes are made, and then easily rectified. I was told by this young gentleman that they made the correction (although I was never given a receipt; my mistake but I have literally been coming here for 6 years and didn't think it necessary). When I arrived home later that day I was on line with my bank checking my deductions when I noticed that yes, Starbucks had charged me double, and then took it off. However, I noticed that they than charged me twice for the same drink showing two separate transactions. Again, knowing the girl at the register to be new I realized she simply made another error. I decided I would call Starbucks to see what they could do about it. I spoke to "Danni", whom I assumed to be a young manager. I explained to her what happened. She remembered me, as I said, I'm in there a lot. She told me to simply come back when she was on duty and she would give me my next coffee making up the difference. I told her that would be fine. However, when I went back she wasn't there. I explained to the cashier what happened and she told me to wait for Danni to come back in. So I did. Today Danni was in. I went up to the counter and brought to her memory what had happened. However, on this occasion she told me I needed to prove it with my bank statement. Now I'm standing there feeling embarrassed asking for a refund for one cup of joe, while at the same time being looked at and spoken to as if I was just trying to get a free coffee. Someone needs to speak to these young people about customer service, especially the regulars. Not only did I spend what I believe was a nice amount of money on coffee and other items per month but I was also a generous tipper. The only person whom I ever met at this location who knew anything about customer service was the night "Brandon" who has worked there for quite some time. He is simply heavenly to deal with and knows the value of a repeat customer who has been nothing but kind and understanding towards your staff. I am not saying I'll never be back but it might take a while for the sting to subside. I'll also insist upon a receipt each and every time. If you can't trust me why should I trust you? Receipts should be mandatory, not asked "do you want a receipt" , if you are going to treat your customers this way. Today my star rating is going to be very low. read more

I have never had a bad experience at this Starbucks! I come here intermittently when my local coffee shop is unavailable. In all my years living in the area, the staff have always been extremely friendly and efficient. The location itself is clean and cozy, I love the sitting area for studying when I was in school. Only complaint is the location is hard to access due to no street parking surrounding the building, as well as being situated right along the bridge. I prefer the outdoor seating because it has a nice view of downtown New Hope. It can get pretty crowded, but the wait isn't too long and it is definitely worth it. With the perfect location in New Hope there is never a dull moment with the hustle and bustle of this wonderfully populated town. The location is perfect for people watching but the parking can be tricky. On busy days such as the weekends all meters are taken and it may take a few trips around to find a spot. The Starbuck's is a hidden gem among all the other glammed and obvious shops throughout New Hope. The simplicity of the brick is important. With the pleasant porch that has chairs and tables, sets the mood even before a customer sets foot in the shop. The interior of this Starbucks is very neat and tidy with a relaxing feel. If staying a long time do not fear, the bathrooms are very clean but only have one bathroom for each sex which can become inconvenient if a line forms. As it is such a prime location, many customers are only to be expected. At certain times such as weekends there are lines that are not the most convenient when waiting for your delicious beverage. The beverages and snacks to go with are very good. Do not be afraid if you have a special request, the workers are very friendly and appreciate good clientele as much as you appreciate good workers. Walking in the large doors you will be engulfed in the delicious smell of different coffees. After getting your drink and scone you can choose to go to the inside seating where there are both seats with tables as well as comfy arm chairs to sit back and relax while sipping your drink. On a nice day I recommend sitting outside and enjoying the town from one of the tables on the outside porch. This starbucks is best for the atmosphere the town itself brings. Nice location in the heart of New Hope. The design is definitely favored to get you in and out of the store, as there is very little indoor seating. The outdoor patio is quite large. And this must be the only Starbucks I've ever encountered that doesn't have any available outlets? I'm sure they get a lot of day trippers trying to charge their phones, but seriously not even one outlet? My hometown Starbucks has probably 20 outlets and USB plugs. They got our order wrong and couldn't figure out how to use my Starbucks Rewards coupon. But I suppose at least they were pleasant about it. Overall, not the greatest, but not the worst.
