I love coming to this Starbucks. It's a .6 mile walk from the main part of the city and always worth it. The accommodations are comfortable for us laptop-squatters, especially the corner counter. And while I enjoy the food and drink, it's the staff that make the experience. Just now, seeing my mug sadly empty, the staff offered me a hot coffee refill, all springing to life like a scene from a musical. My hands are now warm, and I'm smiling today. Everytime I've been to this Starbucks, I'm always met with smiles and great customer service. Everyone is usually very friendly, and the store is kept very clean. Overall, this is one of the better Starbucks I've been to. You do run into your usual Starbucks problems, such as the whole "Starbucks name" (coming up with a fake, "normal" name in order for the cashier to type it in correctly. Last visit I tried using my actual name "Abir" and got my drink labeled on the side as "Ebir", it's a struggle for sure for uncommon names) and having to yell over the sound of blenders (and having the masks on is definitely not helping with this problem ). Friendly crew of people, missing a star because they aren't necessarily excellent but definitely above average. A sprinkle of powder on top of some whip cream can go a long way in terms of presentability and customer satisfaction (and also getting my name correct... ) read more

I'm not an avid Starbuck's goer, but this is hands down one of the best Starbuck's around. There's much to love about this shop, it has ample parking next door and outdoor seating, the baristas are all friendly and helpful, the prices are good and of course the drinks!! I'm a huge fan of the hot chocolate/chocolate croissant combo (too much chocolate? Never!). There are also alot of people who come here to work on their laptops, and I don't blame here I often consider coming here myself to write. I've made many runs here with my sister and my friends before we take the train and if I came through Lansdale I would stop in more, it is worth it! read more

Today I walked into this Starbucks having a chaotic morning rush. Unfortunately for the employees, they were currently working down a staff member and starting to deal with some unsatisfied customers. However, amidst all this chaos, all the employees acted with such professionalism; letting all their patrons know, that regardless of being short staffed, that they are on top of getting orders out quickly as possible. In addition, employees would shout out the names of the customers orders they were currently starting on, to ensure the customer that they appreciate the customers patience and time. It seemed that the woman working the register was having a hard time hearing me. If the music in this location wasn't SO loud, maybe she'd have an easier time. I apologized for having the barista remake my drink (which was a simple iced coffee). I was given a grande and wanted a venti. Simple fix! The Starbucks on Main Street Lansdale at one time was a great place. The few problems were always cheerfully corrected. Totally different story now. The store is often closed, not only early, but all day. I know "supply train" problems have created problems however the new store in Kulpsville seems to be well stocked. The manager at Lansdale told me it is because Lansdale does not have a drive-thru window. That makes no sense. Yesterday i drove to the store only to find a sign saying closed for the day. Today I again went there - they are open with 6 employees milling around but food case is empty and they have no food and only a few drinks. read more

Slow service and dirty environment. Ordered a coffee a 10:30am and it was ready at 10:45am, fifteen minutes for a black cup of coffee. The wait was useful though because It gave me time to go in the restroom and get some paper towels to clean the table. So I have a variation of AITA but I will call it AITK(Am I the Karen) situation. I wanted to treat my office to Starbucks Coffee this morning for our weekly morning meeting. I remember a few years back I was told that party size coffee's should be ordered ahead of time. I remember having to fill out a slip and all. I went in person to Starbucks last night at 5pm (when it was slow)to order coffee for a 7:10am pick up. It was dead at Starbucks because of the time. I explained that I would like a traveler (party) size coffee for the next morning and what I wanted types of creamers etc. The Barista's looked confused and said that they don't put in orders ahead of time. I stated that I was told in the past that party size orders needed to be ordered ahead of time. The more senior barista jumped in and seemed to know what I was talking about and placed the order. When I came in and requested my order, they looked at me like I had 3 heads and scrambled to get my order together. I placed the items in my car. I noticed immediately that they forgot all of the 3 different milks that was part of my original order. The most that I said and did was a sigh, looking at my watch, and said this was part of the original request that I made last night. I was running too late to get in to it with anyone. A supervisor who was stocking shelves started to get into an argument with me about how they don't do orders ahead of time over the phone. I corrected her and stated that I came in in person the night before. She then proceeds to tell me that not to expect the order to be on the dot on time. I said I understand but if there was a change in policy in regards to ordering a traveler I should have been told last night when I was there. I would have been more than happy to order it the morning of. I also stated that it was 7:25am. This gaslighting supervisor was like you left and came back. I didnt even start my car when I noticed that they forgot my creamers. I want to make it clear that I do not blame the barista's at all but feel that this is a manager training issue. This lady was not even apologetic but argumentative. Also, I never asked to speak to manager. Am I being the Karen here? read more

You probably wonder what could possibly make the difference between one Starbucks from the next? The difference is the employees. The manager, Dave, knows my name and remembers my order as do most of the employees there. The products are consistent with Starbucks, but these employees truly care about the product, which they all realize is not just coffee or espresso. These employees all recognize that the product is the service provided. Dave, as a manager, built a team of who are hardworking, happy to be there, and take the time to get things right. Usually, the worst moments at a Starbucks are the confrontations between employee and disgruntled customer whose drink was made wrong. I've seen and heard employees make sure the drink they made was exactly how the customer wanted it. If it was wrong, the drinks were remade with a smile. There have been times where I've felt secondhand frustration from the situations unfolding, but the baristas worked hard and with a smile. I've seen these employees cleaning constantly to ensure a positive atmosphere. I've also seen moments where the team as a whole worked so effectively and efficiently that they had a moment to converse and the topics were always lighthearted and filled with laughter, another sign of a cohesive team. The store engages the community as well, with things like a toy drive, clothing drive and other activities. This Starbucks is what a Starbucks should strive for; a welcoming environment that ensures your product is exactly how you want it. read more

Parking can be a chore but this is your typical Starbucks. This place gets quite busy and seating is very limited. Sometimes you have to sit on someone's lap, and vice versa. So if there is nowhere to sit.. just pony on up... "Excuse me miss...mind if I sit on ya?!" (best to use a wee irish accent) otherwise yeah.. it's nice and refreshing to go here and realize you got a proper coffee with espresso and the right flavor, whipped cream like you asked, etc etc. and be happy you are not at Dunkin Donuts! I'm giving 4 stars because its a franchise, chain, boring run of the mill deal. Nothing here more exciting than a Venti Caramel latte. For fun I always order the "supersize" and they look at me wierd. I tell them to supersize every frickin thing... they just look at me again, wierdly. Meanwhile, many of their baked goods are actually mini's. Small teeny tiny versions of their counterparts in the non-starbucks world, yet cost 2x as much! hooray! Who doesn't love blowing their wad on a cup of coffee which is mostly ice, if you get the iced which I always do, and an assortment of mini bakery items. Consistency is an important thing when it comes to coffee and I am pleased with starbucks regardless the location. I like this location in particular because it is on my way home from work. I visit this location in the mornings when I need the most caffeine, they are usually busy but I never wait long. In addition to convenience and consistency, this location has great customer service. I accidentally ordered my americano regular as opposed to iced. When I realized I made a mistake, they had already made my mistake order. They made me the iced beverages no problem and let me keep the both orders for no additional cost. I left happy and alert. read more

Yes, it's "just" a Starbucks, but when we stopped in for our morning coffee on our trek back to Boston, the staff were extremely friendly and even helped us make sure we had directions (although we had a GPS) to get back to the highway. I went to this starbucks on the first of December, it was right before close and two guys named Kyle and James were working. These two guys treated my friends and I so well. They took so much care in creating the most ultimate of sweet dessert drinks for us, and helping us with the baked goods we wanted. They were very kind and considerate and worked with us through all the strange drinks we asked for.
