Earlier this year we purchased coffee beans for the 250th Navy birthday and they are more than happy to grind your beans for you. Yesterday I ordered my go to large half sweet Liberty Bell latte. I appreciate that they are able to make this accommodation to my drink of choice. While meeting my Saturday morning coffee group I was offered samples of their Irish Crème coffee as well as their red velvet cake. The staff is friendly and welcoming and normally stops by to check in on our group. The setting is warm and inviting. There are couches to sit at as well as tables. As a result, guests who had been waiting patiently were bypassed entirely. A 20‑minute wait in a drive‑thru is one thing; a 20‑minute wait caused by preventable mismanagement is another. The more concerning issue, however, occurred at the pickup window. I watched the customer ahead of me receive a medium hot drink, only to hand it back 2 minutes later. The employee then passed her a cold drink, which immediately raised a red flag -- because I was expecting a hot drink myself. If a customer orders a cold beverage, receiving a hot cup should be an obvious indicator that something is wrong. Yet the drink was accepted, brought into the car, and only then returned. That alone suggests a lack of attention from both sides, but the responsibility ultimately falls on the establishment. When I reached the window, I asked the employee who became so nervous he was shaking whether the hot drink mistakenly given to the previous customer had been mine. His response -- was yes, claiming they had already remade it -- which was simply not credible. There was no time for a remake, and the drink I received still had an opened top where you drink from, a detail that is both unhygienic and unacceptable in any food‑service environment. This was not a minor oversight. It was a failure in sanitation, honesty, and basic customer respect. --- What They Should Have Done * Maintain a clear, consistent line system so customers are served in the correct order. * Verify drink types before handing them out -- a cold drink should never be served in a hot cup. * Discard any drink that enters a customer's vehicle, even briefly. It should never be reused or passed to another guest. * Be transparent when a mistake occurs. A simple "We made an error; we're remaking your drink now" would have been the correct and professional response. Needless to say I left without my drink and will not be going back to this location.

Large selection and friendly service…read more Although they sell to professional roasters and coffee shops, they also cater to the little guys like me who do it for fun (and attempt to save some money in the long run). As expected though, the larger your order is per pound, the more you'll save (I.e 50 lb bag is way cheaper than a 1 lb bag). It'll make sense to buy in bulk and find friends/family who would want to split with you to save money. Location is in the middle of nowhere, but it makes sense since it's mostly a warehouse with a small reception area. Although you can purchase online, I like to browse in person and try whatever sample(s) they are offering that day. The bags they sell in the reception area are just some of their offerings. Check out their website for a complete list. The receptionist was kindly able to grab a small bag of the beans from the warehouse that I requested. The roasted beans that they offer oddly have the expiration date rather than roast date. This is surprising to me because the roast date dramatically affect the quality of espressos. For espressos, I recommend sticking with green beans and roasting yourself. They offer tasting classes for a fee, but not all the time. Check out their website for available class dates. No head nod or acknowledge, but I was here for the froyo. Unfortunately, they were limited in selection. A few flavors were marked as out, and the mango gave a terrible screech. After some commotion I was told that it too was unavailable. This may be more of a systems issue as I noticed the chocolate flavor initially came out slower than molasses. The toppings were not exactly intuitive in their organization-I didn't notice Reese's cups until I'd already packed my bowl with another candy, since Reese's were not in the section with the other candy. The good news is, the gentleman at the register was incredibly accommodating and apologetic about the selection. I love the shape and overall flow of the store and it's super clean given their prime location. Everything tastes as it should, fresh, and the mochi was plump, sweet, and bouncy. That being said, this experience ended on a sweet note, so I'll surely return.
