I don't like leaving negative comments. This place caused me to end up in the hospital. I came in walking to Starbucks with my service dog. I have a mental disorder that I need to have my service animal with me at all times. A man name JOSH stared me up and down for couple minutes while I was order he was sitting behind me. Once I finish order he came up to me and my daughter said to us we had to leave because they did not allow dogs. I told him I will receive my order and will step out. He said no to go outside and he will take my stuff outside. It was 90 degrees outside. This caused me to feel scared unsafe. My daughter was also afraid a man was kicking us out of her favorite happy place. I have my service dog ID and paperwork. I don't understand why this happened. Heading to this Starbucks location wasn't really part of my plan. However, there were two (2) possible reasons why I ended up in here: 1) I don't care about their coffee, but I knew they provide beverages with an extremely high sugar content. 2) I needed to use the washroom, and the one at a gas station wasn't an option. Well, 2) was the incentive. Since I was already there, I might as well make 1) happen. The service was friendly but wasn't, at all, swift. They were busy dealing with the drive-thru orders. Well, hubby and I physically walked into the coffee shop, had a desire to speak to someone face-to-face, but we were the ones that suffered from a longer-than-usual wait. I suggest that the people who placed their orders via the drive-thru get their gym memberships, since many of them came out of the aisle with their "trenta" sized frappuccino. Staff is friendly enough and though I can't personally attest for the decor or ambiance of the interior since I'll prob never actually go inside with the convenience of a drive-thru, my third party opinion (with the help of the windowed exterior) tells me it's pretty much the same as every other free standing Starbucks with a drive thru. Every morning, I visit this location, and EVERY DAY, you'll wait in the drive thru line, AT LEAST 10 minutes; unacceptable! Today, I went inside HOPING to avoid the EXTENSIVE wait time. I ordered 2 items (the Impossible sandwich and a Hot White Chocolate Mocha with Oatmilk, no whipped cream.) They give me the sandwich, but forget about my drink! Everyone who walked in behind me, orders were taken and they were given their orders, expeditiously. Even the drive thru was moving along... eventually, and after waiting nearly 10 minutes by the side (where they give you your drinks), I asked if they had called my name. The lady said, "that's what I'm asking him." So, the tall guy looked through his tablet and repeated my order and she made it. I wanted to get my money back because I was treated differently than everyone else, but since I had waited sooooo long for it, I decided to keep it. Yesterday, I was given a COLD Impossible sandwich!! The lady said that "it was by the window so that may be why [it was cold]." We all know what Starbucks is, and what it has to offer. Prices are high, but we are all lured there for whatever reason- probably because they are on nearly every corner! This location is convenient to the I88/Rt. 59 interchange. That's certainly a plus. Everything else is lackluster. There's not enough parking for the morning crowd, and definitely not enough seating inside. The reason I'm taking the time to review a well known chain is this- to heed warning with regards to their breakfast sandwiches. I ordered one, and the egg was ice cold inside. Yuck. I really like the people who work here but they've made my "grande blonde vanilla latte" wrong almost 80% of the time. It's the first thing advertised on the board where we order, yet I almost never get the vanilla in there. I don't know if the baristas don't catch it on the label BUT there are times I've literally driven back for a pump of vanilla. This is a good Starbucks location... very clean. I sat in here for about an hour on a weekday while I did some work. Plenty of outlets, the employees seem to get along and since it was midday and slower, they never stopped cleaning! The bathroom, the floors, counters, you name it - and for me the cleaner the better. I love this Starbucks. I just moved here, and the second time I walked in, one of the baristas greeted me like a regular. There's never a long line, even in the morning, and the staff are friendly and efficient--they usually have my drink ready before I even sit down! There's plenty of seating, both cosy chairs and work tables, and it's never freezing inside like some Starbucks. Everyone who works there is great, with the exception of one manager, Matt. Even when the store is busy in the evening he will take personal phone calls, leaving his staff to deal with any rush alone. I also came in one time to find him watching horse races on his phone behind the pastries and chatting with customers while other employees handled the rest of the store. He routinely bullied staff to tears in front of customers, creating a super uncomfortable environment. However, the service from the rest of the employees is efficient, courteous, and welcoming and they consistently deliver great drinks and remember my super specific orders. read more

They go the extra mile which I why I usually drive a little further to visit this location! However, today was less than stellar. I ordered a Guava tea drink and didn't find out until I got up to the window to pay that they were out of guava... alright whatever sub it out. Then I asked for no cheese in my sandwich (which I always ask for) and I get home and there's cheese in it so that just became a waste of money. This Starbucks is located right off route 59 by Diehl road. The staff is very friendly here. I've never had an issue with my drink order. The drive thru is efficient and the inside has plenty of space to meet up with other people or do work. They also have a great selection or pastries, salads, etc. later in the day. read more
