This Starbucks is on River Hwy in Mooresviille across the Parking Lot from Lowes and Hobby Lobby. Generally, do not stop because I fill up a big yeti cup with coffee at home before heading out to work in Statesville. If my wife is out of town and I have to take the Corgi to Doggie Day Care and if I am not running late, I'll go through the Drive Thru. Normal order is the Dark Roast Coffee (large) and the Turkey Bacon, Cheddar and Egg White Sandwich, although I can also recommend the Bacon, Gouda and Egg Sandwich as well. After I get my order, I drive up to Statesville which is about 15 minutes away and enjoy at my desk. Service is excellent and I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my order. On top of that this location in particular is just oh so wonderful because of Dianna and Shane! Dianna is always so sweet and pleasant, she brightens your day! Delicious! First time at this location they did good. Pretty fast service. I got the venti iced brown sugar oat milk espresso. Service was solid. A nice spot off of the highway to go to. Parking lot is not huge but they typically are not in general lol so it's the usual size. Def a good Starbucks to check out. read more

The parking in the front and rear of this outlet are less than ideally configured which encourages the use of the drive through which periodically backs up rather badly. Every time I come visit my friend we stop by this Starbucks. The line is LOOOOONG!!! You should expect to wait at least 20min. The dining room is closed due to covid and sometimes the whole place is closed in general because they don't have enough staff or everyone is sick. It's a pain to get here. You have to be on their side of the road or you'll have to make a u-turn somewhere along the way or cut through a parking lot. Such a hassle, not worth the time in my opinion but some people just gotta have their coffee. read more

We went through the line around 9:30am on September 23, 2023. We waited in line for at least 5 minutes before we decided to place a mobile order as we were ordering 5 drinks. We completed placing our mobile order before we arrived at the speaker, but the barista seemed really annoyed that we had placed a mobile order while in line. I understand how it could've thrown the baristas flow off but I don't really appreciate how we were spoken to. The barista (who was wearing glasses) greeted us at the window and was very friendly but a barista with tan skin and long dark hair came to the window and told us that next time we need to give the baristas at least 5-10 minutes next time we place a mobile order. The amount of time we spent in line was quite long already but if we were to order each drink one by one at the speaker it would've taken much longer. As all three of us in the car have been baristas for 4+ years each, we would never speak this way to a customer or tell a customer to give us more time to do our job. The same barista who told us to give them more time also very rudely yelled to us through the window "is it warmed or not warmed?" referring to our pumpkin bread... which we had already specified so within our mobile order. After all of that our drinks were still wrong, but we didn't want to inconvenience them more than they had already made us feel like we had. read more

I give to the first Starbucks on the east coast that I've visited that is FULL service. What do I mean by full service? This Starbucks location services coffee, tea, lattes, espresso, Clover coffees, and wine and craft beer. That's right! I said it. You can purchase wine and craft beer at this Starbucks location. This location has a large sitting area inside and a small patio area outside. The staff and customers are very friendly which is the North Carolina way! Keep up the good work! First and foremost, for all of those wondering -- this is a drive-through location. This is, of course, a convenience. While it does slow down the line at times because of the competing orders, this only seems to occur at high-volume/peak customer concentration hours. In other words, when the crowds surge in, the line slows down. But is that really unexpected, in any case? The more direct inconvenience for indoor customers is if you need something small (ie, there is no skim milk at the toppings counter) and would like to ask the barista that serves drinks for help. It's almost impossible to get their attention, and unless you're extremely aggressive, you'll have a hard time. You'll notice that based on my comment, the skim milk is not always on the toppings bar. That can be frustrating, because you've already waited for your order, now you have to make an extra effort while your coffee gets cold. So why in the world did I give this place 4/5 stars? Well, ultimately, the positives outweigh the few negatives above. The baristas are incredibly friendly and, in my opinion, sufficiently efficient. I am a regular customer, and because I am a recognizable face, more than two of the baristas have asked my name - and remembered it. They ask how I am every time I come by, and it's nice to feel welcome; it makes this Starbucks a part of my sense of community. I order a Venti Pike, and it's promptly served. I never have to wait to scan my rewards card; unlike other locations, they enter the order and have it prepared for scanning instantly. The coffee is always filled to the brim of the cup. I'm getting what I paid for, not a sloppy or dripping cup that's missing half an inch - that matters to me. The place is neat and orderly - both considering the store itself, the toppings bar, and the visible area behind the ordering counter. The bakery seems well stocked, though I have heard baristas announce frequently that they've run out of certain items. The layout is a bit odd, but there are lots of tables as well as a place to sit along the bar, two comfy chairs, and one long communal table. Almost wherever you sit, you'll have access to an outlet. If you're working from your laptop, iPad, or phone - like 99% of most Starbucks customers - you don't have to worry about your device dying because there's nowhere to charge. A MAJOR plus. Finally, this Starbucks is clearly popular, and often full. The patrons are in general respectful and kind to one another, open to small talk if prompted, but also inclined towards privacy and quiet coexistence. There's a social feeling, without the sense that you're being distracted from your work, or that you're being spied on - I'm a nationwide Starbucks frequenter and trust me, there are quite a few ranters and snoops! I realize it's odd to 'profile' other customers, but visiting this location almost every day, I've gained insight into the ambience - and I truly believe that total atmosphere affects total experience. This is THE Starbucks to go to if you're anywhere in Mooresville. As of December 2014, it's still rather new, but manages to feel comfortable, welcoming, and warm. read more

My sister went today, 12/30/2018 with my 10 year old daughter after shopping at Hobby Lobby. Casey, the barista, you don't want her serving you. Casey: that will be $11.38. Daughter: (getting money, 25 cents fell between the cash register and food case). Oops. Sister: oh it fell. Casey: (annoyed and pissy)...welp, I'm NOT GETTING THAT. I've used the drive-thru twice & the baristas were friendly from the order taking at the speaker & at the window. While lines were long, I was able to get my orders in a reasonable amount of time.
