The service counter is different though... different snacks, different set up, different signage and there's a couple of shelving units going up. nothing bad happening, it's just different... lot's of things changed during the plague as we tried to figure it out on the fly. at first glance this feels more like re-tooling than a regime change which isn't such a bad thing. coffee is still good, service is still good, veganese treats are still good. if the biggest problem I have is figuring out where to find the wi-fi password than I don't really have any problems...

Located on Main Street, Mooresville, there is parking in the rear, a handicapped entrance ramp and a very friendly welcoming group of veterans. Veterans are asked to sign into their book, are given a key ring and a free cup of coffee. Any veterans there at the time come up to meet and talk with you. It certainly is a good welcome home. This former store is divided into area displays for each of the military conflicts in which the USA has taken part. In addition, there is a lot of militaria displayed. There are photos, uniforms, models, equipment and historical mementos. A very nice experience. You are immersed into American military history. And for those of us who are veterans it is a warm feeling to reconnect to the years we served, whether in combat or not. With the veterans there you are living history through their stories or general conversation. They serve coffee and light snacks. Thursdays is free coffee. There are light snacks available and I think breakfast, but it might not be regularly served. Very good for grandchildren and children. Living history, making military service real. A great occasion. If my wife is out of town and I have to take the Corgi to Doggie Day Care and if I am not running late, I'll go through the Drive Thru. Normal order is the Dark Roast Coffee (large) and the Turkey Bacon, Cheddar and Egg White Sandwich, although I can also recommend the Bacon, Gouda and Egg Sandwich as well. After I get my order, I drive up to Statesville which is about 15 minutes away and enjoy at my desk. Service is excellent and I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my order.
