This was my first time visiting here but I liked it. I don't like a lot of sweet beverages so I chose the Gut Health Greek yogurt and berries. It was delicious but a little sweeter than I would prefer. So I drank a third of it and got home diluted it with almond milk and mixed it again. I love that you can pretty much customize your smoothie however you want it. I'm used to having smoothies for lunch (I make my own) but I was travelling so I found Smoothie King. The employees were helpful with trying to figure out how I wanted my smoothies/what went in it, and overall it went well. If I HAD to nitpick then the texture isn't as "dense" as I'd like and more on the "fluffy" side as with whey protein, but that's a minor complaint and something I don't think they can prevent unless they use vegan protein, so it was all good. Super disapponted in the customer service. Went in today for one smoothie and 40 minutes later I had to go and reorder the smoothie because they lost the ticket. The staff didn't bother to say anything and saw me sitting there the entire time. Smoothie King really hits the spot when you want a sweet smoothie on a sunny day. Also, this a great place to go to when you need to get some pre/post workout protein. They have all kinds of fruits and vegetables that can be mixed with their gladiator protein. It's blended perfectly so the smoothies don't come out grainy. I usually get "angel food" which is banana and strawberry with pure cane sugar. This tastes so bomb, I love it so much that I'm afraid to order anything different. I've gone here countless of times! Service is horrible! We arrived at the store at 3pm. After ordering , we waited & watched 4 people who came in after us get their orders before us. We then asked about our order & they had no idea what it was. There were 6 people behind the counter & no one was working on our order . After telling them our order for the 4th time , they said "we'll print & get it out to you" . At this time, other customers are coming in & getting their order still before us. We asked for a refund & they refused. They called their manager on the phone & the manager argued with us about why we couldn't get a refund . At this point we've been there for 30 minutes & still no drinks . When they finally make one of the drinks it's the wrong size. The lady at the register wouldn't give us her name, but she was very rude. & not to mention, we were the only African Americans in the store , so you can do the math there. You just can't beat the Gladiator after a workout at the gym. There are so many option to choose from that recommend that you order what you like and they will help you with the order. For example, I like low carb high protein and low calorie smoothies and the staff let me know that the I should order the Gladiator. I love this place because I got into juicing and well, they don't have another place around here like it. I love their smoothies - especially when they make it skinny, because I feel like I'm eating or drinking something healthy. The people are always friendly and the place is clean.
