This is my Starbucks, where I work and make friends and recruit....hahahaha! The staff is uber friendly and cool. Not sure why they closed the location across the street, but the drive through is super quick and the store is bright. I am a die-hard Starbucks fan, but not all Starbucks locations are made equally. The manager and assistant manager are young and organized, everyone is hardworking, constantly wiping the tables and the creamer/sugar station, etc. It is currently Monday morning at 10, the day before NY eve and there are 7 staff members (that I can see). Dear Starbucks... I appreciate how you spent a day training on racial bias. I applaud you for that attempt and effort. While you're doing corporate training, can you also train your staff to be knowledgeable on how to make a decent drink, be organized, clean, and actually attentive? No one likes waiting for 15 minutes for a drink that was placed through your app because your barista cluelessly forgot to check those stickers. You claim it's the faster route but I counted about 10 people who came in after me to order at the cash got their drinks first. In addition to all this, I was somehow able to purchase an item that is no longer available that day. The barista didnt offer to refund or do anything about it. I had to go myself to the cashier after waiting 15 minutes and getting fed up to inform you that my drink hasnt been made and you're missing the croissant. I would have expected at least the barista to say, you can get a refund and let me help you or this person can help you. I didn't get any of that. To be fair, he was a bit of a hot mess... milk from all sources was spilled on all over his work station. He splashed his pours, had espresso dripping everywhere, and every cup that left his area had milk all over it... he was in no shape or form to be a tiny bit organized or helpful. The drink was as bad as his pours... bitter and yet somehow magically watery. I didnt think that was possible but here we are. Oh Starbucks, I would go to you as a consistent baseline... no more. I did end up getting a refund but I requested it at the cash myself. I just feel this was probably thee worst experience I've had in a long time at a corporate brand that considers itself a step up from a regular chain (like Tim Hortens or McDonalds). Definitely not a step up or at the same level... Sorry Starbucks, its a clear 1 star for me which is super rare. Not the best Starbucks I've been to but it's close to home and has a drive thru so I still visit often. I haven't been inside so this review is just about the drive thru. This particular drive thru seems to take longer than others, and I've always had to wait whether I'm the only person in line or not. I also usually need to request more berries be added to the very berry hibiscus, as it's made very pale. Sometimes the coffees are filled too close to the top for driving and we have had some occasions where they spill all over the place. However, the staff has been great at giving us coffee vouchers when catastrophes happen. I'll keep going because its close by and the staff are polite but there's definitely room for improvement. read more

I do enjoy coming to this starbucks location. It's a bit small but it's quaint and they have a cute patio facing the main Street. I noticed they have some new baristas working. And although they don't seem super friendly they seem to be doing a fine job at baristing. :) Looks like starbucks is featuring a lot of new items lately.. Baked goods and coffee plus new merchandise. They are featuring their 45 year anniversary with some cool items. Also they have a new combo I'd be interested in checking out. For $9 you get a sandwich or salad, chips or popcorn, a banana and a water bottle not bad at all. I also like this location for the merchandise. Because I don't find them super busy they tend to have the items sold out or difficult to find at other locations. One downside is the music is a bit loud if you plan on working here or reading but I learned to just tune it out. read more

To be honest, I could never figure out why there was two starbucks literally within 2 minutes of eachother. Now that the other location is closed, I find myself having to come to this location, due to proximity to my work place. The service inside of this Starbucks is quick and efficient. Especially if you order ahead via the app, which I usually end up doing. The parking situation in this plaza is just plain awful. It's way too cramped for all of the businesses and having to walk across the huge parking lot is inconvenient when you are trying to quickly get a drink during a work break. Which comes to the drive thru... not only myself, but colleagues have complained about how SLOW this drive-thru is... you'll easily be idling for at least 8-10 minutes waiting for your drink. I had a short staycation in Mississauga this weekend. I had checked out of my hotel and wanted to try a Starbucks with a drive-thru. This one was the closest to me. Of course, being a tourist in a city that I work in (it is more Malton, so I know the east part of Mississauga a bit better), I completely missed my turn into the same area where there is a Best Buy. I find that it is hit or miss placing my order at a Starbucks store. I ordered a grande no whip, green tea, soy frappuccino. The barista repeated what she thought that I had said. She missed the soy part, which is crucial for a borderline lactose-intolerant person. She quoted my order at $5.86, which I knew was wrong. At the counter, another barista indicated that my order was $6.40. I pointed out the price discrepancy. She explained that soy costs more. I told her that I knew that, so why was the quote cheaper earlier? It turns out that the other barista changed my order for a latte. Huh? Where did a latte come into play?! I swear that some baristas either aspire to be fiction writers or need help with listening skills. My order was finally correct. I find that mobile order is better under some situations. This location gets really busy during lunch time in weekdays. The service is poor and they tend to get angry when people have slightly harder orders than regular coffee. you can feel that some employees are not happy their and are pissed at making hard drinks. My experience wasn't good on multiple occasions. Um... it's a Starbucks, so it's very similar to other Starbucks lol. There are two Starbucks near this intersection, so I don't find that they get too unbearably busy in the evenings or weekends (I don't think I've ever been here during the day on a weekday though). The staff is friendly and fairly quick. I used to like coming here for the big comfy couches, but the last time I was here they changed the design of the store a bit so now there's bar stools instead. The stools and tables offer more seats, but I liked the lounge feel for hanging out. I really love Starbucks, let me just throw that out there. I was intrigued after hearing that there was a location that had a drive-thru. I drove down to see it while I was in the area. I waited a relatively long time because the impotent eunich in front of me must have ordered 10 specialty coffees.When it was my turn in line, I finally decided to order the infamous Unicorn Cappuccino. When they asked for my name, they completely laughed at me and thought I was kidding. The name Buttpussy has been part of 3 whole generations of indigenous heritage, roughly translated from indiy, meaning butt or rear. Buttpussy is a namesake that I hold close to my heart, and I felt that my rights and status as a first nation's person was completely disrespected. I even had to pay taxes. To top it all off, someone outside called me a faggot for holding my rainbow cappuccino. I've never been so offended. read more

My wife took me here at the tail end of a date night. I'm not a coffee drinker so Starbucks is a rare stop for me. First, finding parking was ridiculous due to Moxies being across the way. A woman driving around not paying attention almost ran into my car Once we got inside it was a Starbucks. Except unlike the ones at Indigo this one was cramped and cluttered. Boxes of product were strewn across the floor. The stereotypes were in attendance: two wussy looking metro men with laptops and no Starsbucks product on their table; a bride to be and her friend We ordered our drinks. My wife had a cappuccino and I had a mint hot chocolate. My wife's drink was ready lickity split. However in my case my hot choc took almost fives minutes to prep. It would be nice if they had spoons to eat the whipped cream off of the top. Overall I'd give it an ok rating. The drinks were good, not great. The staff was there to put in time, and the messy appearance of the store was an ambience breaker. read more

It's my second time to stop by this location. First time, no issues. 2nd time, they didn't give me a sleeve and handed me a hot coffee. Luckily I was able to put it quickly in my cup holder. I had to ask for them to give it to me. I expect that Starbucks corporate should assure that each location has a standard to provide the sleeve, as I could have dropped the coffee on my lap and burn myself in the process. read more

Coffee from this Starbucks is awesome every day, and the drive thru line is always very fast.

This location is great because they are opened 24 hours, but there really isn't much seating. They also have a great location (right next to the 401) and they have a drive through. If you are looking for a quick pick me up late at night his is a good stop but during the day it can get really busy. read more

Starbucks is usually pretty good to me but this time the noise level due to the music was a bit high which made the people louder which made it harder to hear the person i was hanging out with. Now put that aside, and the blonde coffee was spot on, the pastry was awesome, my colleague thought about the same as i did about their experience, and i must say the staff was extra friendly and efficient. Maybe its just me but usually when i go to Starbucks I'm trying to escape the office. So I'm oblivious to whats around me. Anyhow, ya, i will return like a faithful mutt, and yes i enjoyed my time there. Very disappointed and discouraged by our experience today at this Argentia Starbucks location. I came with my daughters, including my 15 month old grandson and politely asked a young woman, obviously a student, if we could use the seat on which she had set her backpack (only seat left in the house). In no uncertain terms, she refused to offer the chair and said she needed the seat for her belongings. The young woman beside her graciously offered a seat she was using for her belongings. I approached the Starbucks counter, explained the situation factually, and they appeared as if they did not want to make waves, rather than providing an alternate place for her to put her stuff or try to solve the problem for me. They spoke to the woman, but l think they may have been apologizing to her for any troubles! My daughter actually saw the Starbucks employee slip them gift cards, as if to condone the woman's thoughtless, ungracious behaviour in not offering the seat to others. Is a chair not for this purpose? I was livid at this point. Is this in keeping with Starbucks values of serving their customers? Can you imagine someone refusing to give up a seat on the bus with their belongings on it when it is the only seat left on the bus! I've never seen it! I am promptly filing a report to the head office. I was treated as a pain and dismissed and feel very upset by the whole situation. The staff here involved were highly unprofessional and clearly in need of training. I wish them luck going forward and hopefully they will not alienate too many more of their customers. Starbucks is a great company, my daughter has been employed as a barista at another location, and she was appalled by the employees' behaviour! They gave Starbucks a bad name that day! read more

i go to this starbucks very often and i rarely have problems with them but when i do, it's either because they didn't put enough caramel/chocolate when i specifically asked for it or when i ask for a venti, pay for a venti and they give me a grande! i also have issues with their attitude towards me when i point out it's wrong. today, really ticked me off too the point i downloaded this app just to write a review! i specifically asked the female worker to make sure there is lactose free milk and extra caramel drizzle - i've recently learned they have no idea what cali style is - she then hands me my drink and it has ABSOLUTELY NO CARAMEL IN IT, i don't like to get angry but this happens to me more than often than it used to. i hope management takes time to fix this issue, along with their attitude towards customers especially ones that go there everyday. read more
