This Starbucks location is very spacious and has a number of good tables to work at. I tried the new Summer Skies Refresher, and it was not for me. If you like something very sweet (a melted popsicle, for example), then you'll probably enjoy it. The barista was kind and provided me with a different drink to replace the original order. I was taking my time heading over to Pickering from downtown Toronto last Saturday. I was taking Lakeshore Boulevard East and noticed that construction restricted the usual three lanes going eastbound to one. I did something different and made a right where Shoppers Drug Mart and Canadian Tire are (I need to visit this area more often, because it's all new to me), and made a left to head northbound on Leslie Street. I saw a Starbucks on my right. After downing a rather small bottle of kombucha less than an hour ago, I needed another drink. I hit this cafe's drive-thru. This Starbucks is located on the northeast corner of Leslie and Lakeshore Boulevard East. It's in the same plaza as Loblaws that I used to frequent with my parents as a kid and still remember when it was brand new in the 80's. Yikes! There was a bit of a lineup. You can tell that this cafe is large. It's unusual seeing a large cube as your local Starbucks cafe. The drive-thru was a bit tight to hang a right in at first, mainly because you had cars coming in the opposite direction and moving over is courteous. Otherwise, the path to snake around to the pickup window is pretty roomy. I had a nice woman take my order. I'm still drinking iced peach green tea these days and ordered one here. I like that she didn't ask whether I wanted lemonade in my drink. If I don't utter that word, I don't want it. The wait wasn't bad. When it was my turn, I got the barcode scanned from my Starbucks app to pay. My drink magically appeared. I took it, thanked the woman, and headed around the building. It's so huge that I felt like I was a tourist looking at the patio, the two signs, and more. My drink hit the spot. Summer day. Summery drink. It was done perfectly and made me happy. Pumpkin and apple beverages and baked goods are out. I remember when they rolled all that out after Labour Day. Times have changed. Soon, we'll be getting these offerings year-round and they will neither feel autumnal, nor special. Christmas in July? Pumpkin spice latte in March. Not sure why this girl works the register but whenever I come in she is so unwelcoming and I really hate ordering with her. When I see her when I enter I don't want to order anymore because she makes me experience really unpleasant. Which is not enjoyable at all. Also I ordered a drink last time and then they didn't have the syrup I paid for which my drink was not able to be made fully. The girl at the register should be aware of drinks won't be able to be made because I could have saved money if I didn't pay for the extra syrup. read more

Not even the great Starbucks could overcome a 1 day delay in launching it's newest cafe on a site once dominated by the King (Burger King). There is plenty of parking, drive through and convenient hours (5am to 11pm). The setup is very open with a lot of seating catering to groups of all sizes. The crew is very friendly and knowledgeable of their products even on day 1! I will look forward to frequenting this location to sample all their goods read more

Had a coupon and tried to use it. Coupon was valid but the guy at the counter couldn't enter it. He asked for help and the guy that came couldn't do it either so tried to help by saying the coupon has to be applied before and he said that "he wanted to figure it out on his own terms" the redness was just disgusting. Then he said he wouldn't help me and offered me a customer service number. Complete ass! read more

This is the best Starbucks location I have been to so far. The seating area is great! Nice, big, plenty of tables and power outlets. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I ordered a tune wrap which was heated nicely and tasted great. I later ordered coffee and the barista was very friendly throughout the experience. This location is not a part of my normal day-to-day but I would gladly return. read more

It's one of the larger Starbucks I've visited, and i must say it's a nice one. It's clean, and there are lots of seatings. The service is fast, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing that would be nice to have is that there are more electrical outlets at each table for electronic devices. read more

I ordered 3 Venti shaken oat expresso brown sugar iced coffees. I had to repeat several times and they handed me 3 grande coffees. I explained that I had order venti and-they just poured the dame drink in a bigger cup and handed it me. I'm furious $7 for a coffee you should get what you ordered. There's not much to say about this Starbucks other then it's nice. It only recently opened, so everything is still clean, well organized. Staff had a smile on their face as they took my order. This use to be located across the street by Canadian tires and it's a improvement in terms of the size and decor. It's probably one of the larger Starbucks I've ever visited and wouldn't mind coming by again for a nice cup of latte. read more

If there is a 0 I would rate this place. When there are pastries on display I assume 1) there are more available in the back or if not, at least 2) they are still fresh and edible in the display item. But when you tell a customer that there is none available in the back and the items on display are stale, then why does your staff proceed to put the items in a tupperware instead of throwing them out? Your staff hoarding them for their friends? Completely unacceptable especially as the optics look really bad. I want an explanation why the scones we asked for were not thrown out but rather put in a tupperware if they were supposedly stale. For scientific research? I was just grabbing a quick latte on my way home. I've never seen a longer drive through line up for coffee!?!? It was annoying waiting in line but I was impressed with the staff at the window, very pleasant and friendly. My latte was delicious and all in all it only took 10 mins, so not too bad. The lineup didn't seems to be the problem of slow staff, just a busy area and time of day. As I only went to the drive through I cannot speak to the inside store. But it looked nice and spacious from the windows. read more

I've been to hundreds of Starbucks locations, in a dozen countries. Hand on heart here, I'm not exaggerating. THIS location is the THE best Starbucks location I have ever been to, in twenty years of hanging with the green mermaid. Some locations like the one in downtown Ann Arbor have an wicked "lower level" where students can hang out. There's a location in West Virginia where everyone behind the counter is singing. I've paid $12 for a Latte in Bern. I've seen angry baristas arguing in front of customers; I've seen smooth baristas work under immense pressure (and constant flirtation) in the middle of a Pride Parade; I've even seen the lead singer for the Cranberries introduce herself to the guy who starred in the Austin Powers movies over tea. Nope. This location is the best of them all. The service here is way, way better than average. To a person, there is a consistent and persistent commitment to friendliness that, even by Starbucks's standards, is superb. All the other stuff is strong, too. The store is always clean, it's spacious, the Wifi is good, the condiment bar is located perfectly, it has a drive-thru and a generous parking lot, there's a patio that gets lots of summer sunshine, it's right by a bicycle path that goes to the beach, accessibility is good for people on four wheels, -and- it has three private bathrooms. But it all comes back to that service. Whoever's running this store, frankly, should be doing something bigger than running a coffee shop, because it's clear that they have a knack for instilling joy in people around them. This is one of the best starbucks I've ever been to in Toronto. large, large location with a drive through AND plenty of seating inside and out. seriously having met up here this starbucks is perfect for the area and great for meetings or working. The extra size in the dining room means even if everyone has their apple laptop and writing their screen play or blog, you'll still find somewhere to stand or sit. you also have a huge patio to choose from as well as free parking. there also happens to be a loblaws across the way in the same plaza if you want to save on food options or grocery. drive through also nice and large so if you're taking the truck it's easy to navigate. fast and friendly service. read more

This is by far one of the busiest locations which is great for the owner but bad for the customer. There is always a line up (approx 10 min) and they always run out of almond milk...this happens 2-3 times a week, you'd think that management would learn to manage their inventory better to avoid this because they are losing with their loss in sales. This is literally the worst run Starbucks in all of Toronto. I go here often on the weekend as it's closest to my house. It has during rush times at least 11-12 people on the floor and yet consistently takes over 15 minutes to get a drink. Food also requires you to wait at the end of the bar as only one person is able to serve food. It has drive through as well, but we don't even bother as that's slower. I cannot understand how compared to every other Starbucks in Toronto they have twice the staff during the rush and ONE person making bar drinks. My roommate works for Starbucks so I know the business model and operations quite well. I've finally decided I will never use this location again, after waiting for my drink today for 20 minutes only to get the wrong drink. This location needs a serious overhaul of its operations as it's so inefficient. read more

I go here almost everyday. I go through drive thru and order my earl grey and bagels. I have to say that all the staff working here are the most polite, friendly, considerate customer service representatives! I have never had an unpleasant experience and even one time when they messed up an order, a staff member ran out to my car while it was parked and gave me a $4 gift card! Give these employees a raise! They are doing an amazing job! read more
