    Nice!

A Yelp experience last year introduced me to Chaiiwala. This location is the second-closest one by my workplace, which is roughly a 25-minute drive. This place is in a plaza near Erin Mills Town Centre. A No Frills anchors this plaza. I never had an issues finding a parking spot here. I have had the following items: - Karak chaii - Karachi bun kebab The karak chaii has milk in it. I loved it. It was smooth and the spices were balanced. It wasn't terribly hot, which I appreciated. The milk made this drink mildly creamy. It was perfection in a cup. The Karachi bun kebab was flavourful. The minced lamb patty melted in your mouth with each bite. It had a large masala omelette that jutted out of the toasted bun. The omelette had onions, tamarind, and a spicy mango chutney. It was delicious with a complex set of flavours. I revisited this place to get dessert. I originally spotted the halwa cake slice. The woman at the counter recommended the more popular gulab jamun cheesecake that wasn't as sweet. I went with it. I paid for my dessert with a debit card. The transaction was smooth. It didn't take long for me to get my dessert slice in a container. I did takeout. I thanked the woman and left with it. The gulab jamun cheesecake was excellent. I'm glad that I went with this woman's suggestion. It was indeed slightly sweet, with gulab jamun embedded in a creamy cheesecake. This slice was the perfect size to satisfy my dessert cravings. I dined here for my Yelp experience. It was comfortable and cozy. I used the washroom during my first visit. You wave your hand to open the stall and wave your hand inside the stall to lock it. It was clean, but the dryer wasn't working then. I hope that it's fixed now. My experiences at this Chaiiwala have been great. When I'm in the area again, I'd stop by to get an iced drink and try the halwa cake slice. (209)

New and clean and fancy. Chai was the only good thing. It was spicy and flavourful. Decor is very cool and modern work some photography Food was awful. Pulled from a freezer. Aloo parantha - flat, a bit raw and too oily Samosas- how can you go wrong ?? But you did. Greasy ball and that's it. Gulab jamun cheesecake - was ok. Wanted more Indian flavours, more pistachio and more gulab jamun

Chaiwala, a haven for enthusiasts seeking an authentic Desi Chai experience, has truly captivated my taste buds. In my recent visit, I ventured into a delightful journey of flavors by trying their Cotton Candy Pop, Karak Chai, Butter Chicken Roll, and Cone Fries. The taste, without a doubt, was exceptional, living up to the promise of genuine Desi flavors. The star of the show, the Karak Chai, was a testament to the authenticity Chaiwala strives to achieve. The robust blend of spices and tea leaves created a perfect harmony, delivering a cup of chai that transported me to the bustling streets of South Asia. The Cotton Candy Pop, a whimsical creation, added a playful touch to the experience. The burst of sugary sweetness combined with the subtle notes of chai was a delightful surprise. Moving on to the savories, the Butter Chicken Roll showcased the restaurant's commitment to authenticity. While the taste was impeccable, I found the size a tad bit small. The flavors, however, compensated for the size, offering a mouthwatering experience with each bite. The Cone Fries, served in a charming package, were a visual treat. Yet, I couldn't help but wish for a more generous portion. The fries, though flavorful, left me longing for a bit more to savor. Reflecting on the overall cost, the taste undeniably justified the price. Chaiwala maintains a balance between quality and affordability, making it a reasonable choice for those seeking an authentic culinary experience. However, a slight increase in portion sizes could enhance the overall value for customers. The ambiance at Chaiwala deserves a special mention. The vibrant and culturally rich decor immerses patrons in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The fusion of traditional elements with a contemporary twist creates an aesthetic that enhances the dining experience. The warm hues, coupled with unique decor pieces, contribute to the overall charm of the place. In conclusion, despite my minor qualms about portion sizes, I wholeheartedly recommend Chaiwala to friends and fellow food enthusiasts. The impeccable taste, coupled with the inviting ambiance, makes it a standout destination for those seeking an authentic Desi Chai experience. While Chaiwala continues to excel in delivering delightful flavors, a subtle tweak in portion sizes could elevate the overall dining experience to new heights.

Walked in on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised at how busy it was. There were so many families sitting around the large establishment. I really enjoyed the ambiance, chatters everywhere. It felt like desi folks (especially the elderly & families) have found a place to gather to enjoy chai. The line up was long but moved along quicker. We got a few kashmiri chai & sugar free Karak chai. As a chai connoisseur, I knew to order a sugar free karak chai as their regular is very sweet. Unfortunately, that was a disappointment. It was very bitter, no amount of sugar could salvage the chai. We had either been served chai from the bottom of the pail or it has been brewed for a long time. Nonetheless, that karak chai was not enjoyable. The Kashmiri chai (pink), this was not bad, there were pieces of nuts in it.

Finally a good place for chai! I was waiting for something like this. What's unique about it is their menu. They have something called dirty chai. It's a combination of chai and coffee. It was so good. I don't know if you guys relate, but with chai you have to have a cake on the side. I got the chai cake, and that with dirty chai was the perfect combination you can have after a dinner. Next time I won't do a take out because their ambience was actually good and cosy.

Came here to get some breakfast and chai. The chai was amazing. Strong tea flavor and creamy from the milk. I got the masala omelet with parathas. The portion looks small but it was packed with flavor so I was full by the end. Would come back to try other items or to just get a chai. Great space wt lots of tables. Service was quick.

The menu seemed pretty good but our experience today left a lot to be desired. We tried kadak chai and kadak iced coffee and neither of them were kadak. The coffee was very weak and watered down. The chai had too much milk in it and was very weak as well. Our friends who visited with us today mentioned that the chai normally is good there, but it was exceptionally bad today. We'll have to visit them next time to try some snacks. Hope it'll prompt us to update our review.

The butcher is so clean and the meat quality is evident. It is the ONLY butcher I trust to get any of my meats and chicken. I have tried their steaks, chicken and lamb and loved every single one. The quality is evident in the taste when you try it, but the best part has to be the cleanliness of the meats. I never see a single drop of blood in my meats and I find it so clean and nice. You get what you paid for and the customer service is excellent. We accidentally arrived 5-10 minutes after closing the other day and the team was still willing to accommodate and give us our order, which was so kind from their end. No surprise there as anything by Masrawy is the best, whether it's the food at the restaurant, the Local Cafe and market or the butcher shop. I'm so glad this butcher shop has opened and you'll definitely see me here as a regular customer. They don't compromise on quality!

The cafe was very busy but there still several seats available. My sister recommended the Dubai chocolate strawberries so my friend and I ordered that to share. I got the matcha mango and my friend got the latte. The Dubai chocolate strawberries were tasty. Since they store it in the fridge, the chocolate was a bit hard and we had to dig our way through the cup. I think the combination of mango with matcha tasted kinda weird so it wasn't my favourite. I should've gotten matcha strawberry but I decided to be a bit adventurous today lol. Overall, it was a nice experience and place to catch up with friends. It is quite loud though if you're looking for a more quiet spot.

Our order was a bit of a long wait despite it not being busy, but it was 100% worth it. Looking forward to coming back! One of my favourite coffee shops in the GTA that I keep going back to over and over again. I especially love their adeni and their croissants. However, I find that everything I've tried on the menu has always been sooo good. It's a little on the pricier side but the atmosphere/ambiance of the place and quality/taste of the products make up for it. They also recently introduced a loyalty program where you can collect points with every purchase. Tried their pistachio cake and loved every bite!

The texture of the croffles had a crispiness on the outside which made this dessert delightful to take a bite into. We chose the Honeycomb, Tiramisu and White Chocolate Matcha. We thoroughly enjoyed each flavour but a personal favourite of mine would be the tiramisu. My friend's personal favourite was the honeycomb. We're both not into white chocolate but to our surprise, we enjoyed the White Chocolate Matcha flavour as well. The matcha's earthiness really complemented the touch of sweetness of the white chocolate. The cream on top of the croffle was also rich and smooth. The ice cream was a good addition. As mentioned in my previous review, the server was friendly and had a warm smile. The place encouraged people to connect with each other and I thought it was a cozy place to do just that. When dining in, you order at the counter, get a number, and they bring your food to the table. Breakfast items are available until 4 p.m., and after that they serve salads, bowls, and sandwiches. On my first visit, I had a hot chai latte with espresso and it was absolutely delicious. The second time, I tried the iced pumpkin spice latte and didn't love it. The pumpkin spice syrup is homemade, which is nice, but the flavor fell a little flat and the large glass was mostly milk, which overpowered the drink. For food, I've tried the egg sandwich simple but good. The spinach feta croissant was heavy on the spinach, light on the cheese, and even though I asked for it warmed up, it was still cold in the middle. Their bowls are very fresh, but I found them a little under-seasoned and could've used more dressing or a sprinkle of seasoning to tie everything together. Overall, it's a cozy spot with an inviting vibe (I love their "stay awhile" sign on the wall). I think it really depends on what you order and your personal taste. For some, the fresh and lighter options might be perfect. For me, a little more flavor and balance would make it great.
