Located in the strip mall, its a convenient location after a stop at the Milwaukee Farmers market or when I'm heading down 224 since there is easy on and off access. I came in on Wednesday morning and got a coffee. I paid about 8 dollars for it. And when I took a drink it was just way too sweet. So I ASKED POLITELY if I could get another one. Idk the little girl with the bangs and all the piercings on her face seemed so like offended and walked over to her co worker and was whispering things to each other laughing. She was showing her the drink ticket. Girrrrl I don't know why you were so offended and awkward about it. Acting like Starbucks is going to make her employee of the month or something. Is it not their policy ?? They will remake a drink if you don't like it ??? Why should I have to pay money for a drink that doesn't taste good. There is a new "salted cream cold foam cold brew" and the first time we had it, it was amazing. There was a little sweetness in the cold brew, topped with this perfect foam and a dash of salt. We've tried to order it two other times from different Starbucks and they weren't the same. They were just cold brews with foam tops. We were so excited to have it again and then was disappointed. Earlier this week I came here and tried ordering it again, they made it correctly! Fast forward and I'm here again, I ordered it a little hesitant, so far I've got a 50% record of getting the right drink. Jason walked up and talked to me, saying he thinks it's because people have forgotten to add the caramel to the cold brew and might be using regular sweetener instead. He said that they'd make it for recipe and to try it before I leave, if it still wasn't right that they'd work on it with me. I tried it as it was perfect, made to recipe and exactly as I had it the first time. The best part is that Jason comp'd the drink. Saying that since I've had such a hard time getting it the right way, this one would be on them. That's top notch customer service that will keep me coming back to this location instead of the others around us. UPDATE 2019 I'm pretty sure this location is full of the best of the best Starbucks employees. Tamara is a saint. My daughter dropped her little ring into the display, under a grate. We had to dismantle 3 shelves of the display in order to lift everything up in two pieces to retrieve her ring. Tamara did this with a smile and a laugh, saving my toddlers day. Each Starbucks has the same items with the same consistent quality but this location stands higher than the rest with their exceptional customer service. read more

Around here, STARBUCKS are few and far between! This one, like most, can and does regularly get super backed up. They take everyone's order so no one is waiting in line to have their order taken BUT it's OK to make them wait for the actual order. Its genius on their part. Get the money. Then who cares! This is by far my favorite Starbucks location that I have visited. I started coming here last summer after starting my new job in Milwaukie. It's located right in the little stripe mall next to the Subway and Chevron. There is ample parking when I visit here before work in the mornings. The interior of the place is just like what you would find in most Starbucks with the usual ambiance and feel. The place is clean and well maintained. The staff is is and friendly. My order has only been wrong here once and when I let the barista know they were quick to resolve the issue. There can be a little bit of a long line so I would highly recommend using the Starbucks App so you can skip the wait. This is how a Starbucks should be with warm, friendly baristas and a well maintained shop. read more

This location has always been "fine" in the way Starbucks generally is due to the consistency of the products used and the training, but it has really stepped up its game in the last few months. The vibe is better, the employees seem happier, and this might seem minor, but they finally...FINALLY installed some shades in there and it has made SUCH A HUGE DIFFERENCE. When I'd go in for my afternoon caffeine, I'd be roasted and/or blinded by the sun. I guess the new manager had everything to do with that according to someone I was talking to there. Best Starbucks in Portland. The team here at this often overlooked location is always friendly and takes the time to remember customers by face -- even with our masks on! I always order cold drinks ahead of time on the app and once I didn't make it to the location until about 20 minutes after I placed the order - I came in fully expecting to pick up sweaty iced teas (because it wasn't their fault I was delayed) but they had already remade our drinks just moments before we got there. This location features the Clover coffee press - which is an excellent opportunity to try a cup of the coffee before you buy the bag of beans. I have sampled the Kenya and Ethiopia single origin. If you like Stumptown's more acidic taste, I highly recommend the Kenya roast. It's got a lot of fruity notes, it's not as acidic as Stumptown, but certainly in that direction. The Ethiopia is darker, more chocolate and would appeal to the French roast/Italian roast drinker. Also give the Panama Reserve coffees a try, my current fav is the Los Cantares roast. read more

It's a little frustrating when you can tell I'm in a rush and the lady standing in front of me is ordering 3 complicated multi step drinks and all I want is a 3 shot expresso, and then I go to order and he tells me to wait after he just got done helping other people. Usually enjoy coming to this location but last night (Friday) was the second time recently that the staff have closed the store early. Supposed to close at 9pm and we showed up at 8:54pm and the employee just looked at the 4 of us (who were all going to purchase food and beverage) like "oh well" and just shrugged his shoulders! The young man (with long dark hair) didn't seem to care at all yet there are store hours for a reason and people show up knowing that they should be open. Even a police officer pulled up for coffee!!! It's cold out and people enjoy coffee at all hours. The doors were even locked early so we couldn't even go in from the freezing cold. So frustrating and disappointing. Knowing the store should close at 9pm, the cleaning process should be reconsidered so it isn't closed down early. If the store is going to keep this as common practice, you might want to consider changing the hours to earlier so people don't show up expecting it to be open. Service should be provided up until the time of closure. We didn't even need to hang out, just wanted a treat. read more

So you can go on your business trip and hit up the local starbucks over there and get EXACTLY the same uber specific drink that you order back home and not have it taste weird.
