Small cafe in Sellwood with a nice selection of Mexican pastries and coffee. Minimal seating inside but obviously run with love and attention to detail. Glad to support this small business!

Small business owner brewing tasty coffee. Location is next to my hairdresser, so it's nice to grab a hot beverage to sip while I'm enjoying my self care. Cute cafe. Small but cozy and room to grab a table and do work if needed.

When I realized this coffee shop was in walking distance to my pets' vet, I told my friend who initially brought me here that it was pretty dangerous knowledge. The homemade syrups they make here are absolutely delicious. They taste like natural, fresh flavors. I've tried the rose cardamom and the orange cardamom syrups and loved both. The interior of the shop is so cute and covered in plants. The shop is also located in a little cove of shops so if you're looking for lunch, just turn the corner and head into Sebastiano's. I haven't tried the pastries at the coffee shop yet, but they all look amazing.

This is the little coffee closet that I hid inside in plain sight one day with a bunch of other people that inspired me to start making my coffee at home more like a latte and less like a coffee-and-cream, and where all the baristas were like DJs mixing concoctions for us rando's in a mosh pit all trying not to squish into each other since it was a chilly day and we all donned some version of a puffer jacket or poncho. What I love the most about Cinco Siete is the bar style seating, looking out toward the sidewalk, all the random succulents, and the espresso was incredibly balanced and delicious! Gracias, nosotros te amamos.

Super cute coffee shop. I had the vanilla and cardamom house made syrup in my coffee and it was super good.

Nice little spot. Staff were nice. They have 2 wall displays of fresh roasted beans from various places around the world. With the name they have you would think they had Mexican inspired drinks on the wall which is why I went in. . Well they kind of did' The add on house made syrups were listed on the counter (not obvious) . Yeah totally missed that until after I had my drink. Grr. I would go back to give them a try, but even then, depending on how you order the drink and milk will affect that. They really should have full on names in the board. I am sure they could make recommendations. Still, overall quality expresso. Didn't try the great looking pastries, I would still go back to try his Dulce de leche.

Coffee was really good and the notes were not overpowered by the flavoring (vanilla ) would definitely go again !

It's a tiny, well-loved shop, staffed by baristas who still care for their craft. Go and enjoy

We had a latte and a steamer, and they were very well made and tasty. They also make their own syrups which were unique and so good!

This cozy coffee shop is a hidden gem, especially for those of us from Vegas who don't have many local, cozy options.

Over the past weeks, I've actually found the atmosphere to be warmer, and more welcoming, and full of positive energy. Like any small business, transitions happen, but what matters to me is the experience I have every time I walk through the door. I've consistently been greeted with kindness, great coffee, and people who genuinely seem to care about creating a place where customers want to stay awhile. One of the things I love most about JoLa is that it feels like a true neighborhood café. Local artists are featured on the walls, it's a wonderful place to settle in and work for a few hours, and there's a real sense of community that you don't find in many coffee shops anymore. More than anything, it's obvious that the owner and management care deeply about the customer experience. They put a tremendous amount of heart into this place, and it shows in the details... from the quality of the food and drinks to the welcoming atmosphere they've created. I'll happily keep coming back, and I'd encourage anyone who's considering visiting to experience JoLa for themselves.

Lately, the energy has shifted. There has been a rapid turnover of the team, and without any of the familiar, long-term staff members who built those customer relationships, the welcoming environment is gone. While the current staff tries their best, the overall customer experience has suffered. After 10 years of loyal daily visits, the lack of consistency has finally pushed me to find a new daily cafe. ****My previous detailed review was taken down. It's incredibly disappointing to see a business I supported for years choose to silence feedback rather than address it. Losing a loyal regular apparently matters less than keeping up appearances.****

This location is such a gem and has a completely different feel from their other coffee shop. They serve brunch at this location and it is fantastic, and if you're not sure what to order, get the oats - they're so good, almost like shrimp and grits! The coffee is always on point, but don't sleep on the pastries either. Everything I've tried has been memorable. The space itself is beautiful, with indoor seating, outdoor seating, and even an upstairs area! It's thoughtfully designed, cozy, and a great place to bring your laptop if you work from home and get some work done with their free Wi-Fi. What really makes this place special, though, is the people. Brittany, the owner, is one of the kindest and most welcoming people you'll ever meet. She remembers her customers, genuinely cares about the community, and creates a space that feels warm and inviting every time you walk in. This is exactly the kind of local business worth supporting!

There are times when I just want to relax with a cup of coffee, vegan baked good, and a good book. I was able to do all 3 on my recent outing to Milwaukie! I come to Milwaukie about once or twice a month. Keeper Coffee is the kind of place I could have spent the whole afternoon at! It's spacious, and fun decor. I ordered my vegan baked good and a latte with almond milk. Headed upstairs to get a small table. They brought my coffee to me. The coffee flavor was strong and I added a couple packets of stevia, but it was good. The baked good was really delicious. I ended up stepping out in the hallway to use the restroom. It's a really spacious restroom. There were other businesses upstairs and a cool mural. I had no problem finding parking. I will definitely be back!
