It appears to usually be the consistency of the cold foam itself and when falls immediately or is nearly non existent then the drink tastes and looks like a latte. Thankfully, they seem to be back on track again though the consistency goes up and down quite often. They can remake it if needed which is very nice. The location has a shared parking lot and usually a spot is available unless an event is going on nearby. Staff here is typically friendly and courteous. Tough parking lot to get into with foot traffic and the size of the lot itself. Stopped on a Saturday morning so it was pretty busy. The gal at the register was patient with me while I had technical difficulties with my rewards on my phone. Took about 7-10 minutes to get my chai latte but you can tell they were trying to churn out drinks as fast as possible. I hit up this Starbucks on occasion and I'm able to get in and out with caffeinated beverage in hand in relatively short order. They have a decent sized dining area. It would definitely serve well as a spot to either work, meet with friends, or have a business meeting. There's a couple of tables outside as well (not terribly scenic, but if you're wanting the fresh air--they're available). The service is swift, but not always entirely accurate. I've had (and seen) a few orders be mishandled. They can get pretty busy (especially after school hours, it seems), which can make their system of simply calling out the coffee order (rather than getting a name to go with it) a little inefficient (and leading to confusion at times...which, actually, could be what's to blame for the incorrect orders). The drinks are good and typically I have no problem getting the order that I want. They do run out of things from time to time however. I understand we're still dealing with supply chain issues. Stopped in today at the downtown Tosa Starbucks for an iced drink. They are currently offering mobile to go orders and take out orders. I was happy to see everybody working inside was wearing a mask. I popped on my mask before I walked in to place my order. They have the inside set up so you can't walk in more than 2 feet into the establishment. The staff was super friendly, upbeat and happy! This is one of the remaining Starbucks that actually is semi spacious. They have a bunch of nice groupings of seats you can gather in. I've frequented this spot because of that, we like to meet people for coffee and this is amenable to it. The baristas here are also one of the friendliest bunch I've experienced at Starbucks as well, which goes a long way when you're spending frivolous money on coffee drinks to make it a full experience. The only issue I've ever had here was a Saturday that we were working quietly a group of teenagers came in and didn't even order drinks but sat in the corner being loud and goofing off. Not really a great spot to hang out for that. read more

I go to this Starbucks often and my only complaint is the lack of parking near the store. This site is land locked and has no drive thru (which is probably a good thing). My suggestion to improve how this store works would be to have "temporary" parking spaces for people who just want to go in, get a coffee, and then leave. This would improve the turnover of the parking and not lose customers. When I can find a parking spot, I am always happy with the result. I'm not always a fan of corporate establishments but this place is an exception. I LOVE THIS STARBUCKS! Most of the baristas have been working at that store for a long time. They actually seem to "like" what they are doing, but mostly they are great with people. They engage you in conversation and are being real about it. You know how you can tell someone just isn't in to what your saying? Yeah, they don't let you know it here. My husband made this his place away from work and home. He literally was visiting this store 2-3 times per day. Sadly, we don't live near there anymore, but hope to continue visiting every now and then. read more

We came here one night for a hot coffee and the service was so subpar, the girl who rang us up seemed annoyed that she had to stop talking to her friend and do her job. I had my phone ready to scan my card and she just pointed at the scanner-which was not exactly visible from my side of the counter-and was the laziest cashier I've seen. This is a busy Starbucks! All the old and young come to this Tosa location. I have nothing but good things to say about the employees. It's a Starbucks in a suburb. Nothing bad there. I love the option of the outdoor seating and the fireplace/couch area on the far side. However, my strife is really with the wall plugs. Ya'll gotta do something about them! They are old and wiry - my Mac charger falls out constantly because the wall plugs are practically broken. I also recommend having more floor plugs by the long table in the front of the shop. I know they get really busy and people love loitering - lots of students and such (like myself). It also gets super crumby on the tables and such because it's so busy. I understand they are swamped often so cleaning is probably not on their list of priorities. Even though there's a weird parking attendant keeping tabs on how long cars have been there, I still enjoy frequenting this location because it's close. However, I would be wary of the dude with a clipboard in the parking lot giving out fake parking warning tickets. read more

They consistently go above and beyond - from writing words of encouragement on the coffee cups, to opening the door for me while I push a stroller. This Starbucks has always been quite prompt for me. I have used the pick up feature of the app and my drink has always been ready and waiting and still hot as well as ordering in store. In store my order has always been ready pretty quickly even if busy. The baristas have been friendly and answered my questions about various drinks. They have a decent amount of space inside as well including a fireplace. My sister and I spent an entire day reading by the fireplace one day. We ordered multiple drinks, enjoyed some Chips and Salsa from Qdoba next door and sat comfortable for hours. This is definitely one of my favorite local Starbucks locations! read more

I will start out by saying that this is a great Starbucks. The staff is friendly, and the environment is welcoming but there are a few things that make it unideal though. Firstly, there is no drive-thru. I realize that this makes me seem like a schmuck, but as the caregiver of a three year old going into the store is a 20min ordeal and when you are trying to get your caffeine fix, a huge hindrance. Secondly, parking is limited and during peak times it gets very busy. Last thing I want to deal with on my "quick stop to pick up coffee" is finding parking a block or two away. Lastly, there are several schools in the area, so if you happen to come at the wrong time, you will likely encounter hoards of teenagers. read more

Excellent location, beautiful layout, great vibe -- except between 3 & 5 pm on school nights. Then the place is crawling with teens and it gets noisy as hell. Another frustration is the lack of knowing when your beverage is ready. No names are ever taken, and you're just supposed to sort of hope someone doesn't take your order, as there are usually 3 or 4 standing around waiting. Many people also come in only for the wifi and don't even order anything, spending hours there. What's up with that? Is this a business or a charity? At Christmas you will hear for days on end nothing but non-religious Christmas music. The pastry is now significantly smaller and more expensive than it used to be. But I still love this place: it's got a great view of the Village, and it's fun to watch the coming and going of people and traffic out there. Very romantic overall. The coffee is good here but the wife likes to use old coffee grounds for the gardens around the house this Starbucks told her she would have to order them a day before the others have gold bags that you can just pick up no old filters in the bag here they gave her a small bag with more old filters then grounds if they don't want to do this they should. I am a consistent Starbucks customer. To say I stop at Starbucks 5 out of the 7 days of the week wouldn't be an exaggeration. Because of this, I feel the need to share an issue. I am writing about this specific location.I have gone to that location here and there when I am traveling from home. Every time I have gone in , I have been so disappointed with the cleanliness of the store. The counters are sticky, wrappers everywhere, old cup covers. Napkins on the floor, etc. I thought this could be because it was busy. My fiance and I came in to do wedding planning. After getting our drinks, we sat down at a dirty table. I was shocked after five minutes, I noticed there were fruit flies everywhere! They were flying all around us. When I went to the bathroom, it looked as though it had not been cleaned for an extensive amount of time. I have always been impressed with Starbucks but this one is consistently an exception. read more

I prefer this Starbucks over most others given its location and attraction to med students like myself. Pretty nice seating, I always seem to find somewhere to sit no matter what time I come in. Its a pretty nice sized starbucks, not cramped and has outdoor seating in a very nice area. Drinks are all the same, very tastey and bad for you haha. The adjacent parking lot is 60mins only and be careful because there is a guy who sits out there and watches your car: he does not hesitate to call a tow truck trust me! At any rate there is free parking across the street FOR THE ENTIRE DAY if you need to study for hours on end which the staff does not mind. Im slowly getting familiar to them all and they are a pretty great bunch of employees. The only drawback on this particular location is that its located near a high school, which as you can imagine draws in a younger, louder and slightly more annoying crowd....brings me back to my high-school days. The one time I was here Kathy Mykleby from channel 12 was in front of me in line and acting all crazy because the barista had just started a fresh pot of coffee, and wouldn't have any to serve for like, two minutes.
