Instead, the drink was extremely bland and lacked the sweetness you would expect from a frappe drink. When we brought it to the attention of the employee at the drive-thru, she confirmed that the drink was supposed to be sweet. However, rather than offering to remake it, she suggested adding sugar or more chocolate. She eventually gave us additional chocolate to add ourselves. This meant we had to remove the lid and pour the chocolate over the whipped cream, creating an unnecessary mess. Unfortunately, even after doing all of that, the drink still wasn't sweet because the chocolate just sat on top of the whip cream. And I didn't want to mix the whip cream. My suggestion to management is to ensure employees are properly trained to handle situations when customers are dissatisfied with their orders. Sometimes, simply remaking a drink can make all the difference in providing good customer service. A drink that looks like a delicious treat should taste like one, too. We aren't asking for anything unreasonable, just the quality and customer service we expected when making our purchase. Unfortunately, this experience fell short.

We try and stay connected and meet and various places for lunch. I called Grumpy's several weeks ago and spoke with the assistant manager Brandi about having us come there for lunch. She said "absolutely"! They had a place available for us and it was perfect! Our waitress was phenomenal. Everyone was super friendly! Everyone said they loved what they ordered. I ordered the short stack pancakes which were HUGE! They were delicious and had great flavor. Definitely would order this again. My wife ordered the biscuits and gravy and she said she loved it. My wife and I both talked on the way home "why did it take so long to go to a Grumpy's". Don't know why.... Thank you Grumpy's for great food, great atmosphere, great service as well as super friendly. We definitely recommend Grumpy's and can't wait come back.

The value and quality for drinks aren't bad at all, but compared to some of their local competitors, I've seen and tasted better. The food was a disappointment to say the least, but it does look like they have some interesting baked goods for sale for those interested. Service could use some improvement as well to promote sales on their books as well as inform customers that they're about to order something they could throw in the microwave themselves. I don't recall seeing indications for prices on the books, and at this point, I didn't want to try to start up a conversation with the barista again either.
