This is such a hidden gem in Starke that everybody should make an effort to support. I was sad that they didn't have the broccoli salad, but I'll have to grab some food next time I'm there. In addition to this amazing convenience, the drinks were great. We also got the lemon blueberry cooking that was super tasty. Staff were super friendly and accommodating.

The sound of course drew me to the trailer like a Zombie from The Walking Dead.   I met Jordan, the owner... "THE" Coffee Chemist herself. She was very nice and friendly. Love their milkshakes and all their food items! It has the 50's drive-in feel vibe going on. You park and they walk up to your car and take your order. Or you can get out and walk up to the window. Back in the early 1990's when I was working as a truck driver out of Jacksonville a few times a month I would stop by Powell's for lunch when traveling through Starke. Today we ordered a milkshake. I ordered the Cookies & Cream Milkshake and it was delicious!!!! The waitress was very friendly. It took maybe 5 minutes to get our 4 milkshakes for all of us. * Definitely recommend you stop by Powell's for lunch/dinner/snacks while traveling through the Starke area.

It is truly such a disappointment when I spend years raving about an establishment to scores of…read moreother foodies just to find out that when I return after a couple years, things have gone completely and utterly downhill. As a high-performing young person in the food industry and retail industry in the past, I usually give young people the benefit of the doubt working in a setting like this one. However, this most recent experience was an absolute sh*tshow from beginning to end. It cannot possibly be that difficult to take an order from the counter or the calculate the price of 3 items. Somehow these team members made it look like it was more difficult than rocket science, and did so at the slowest rate of any burger joint I've ever seen in my entire life. From not being greeted once, to taking 10 minutes to even get to pay, to absolutely no apology for how long it took or even a "thank you" or "have a nice night." I can count on one hand the times I've ever left an establishment without leaving a 20% tip but I've never seen a more deserving group of people to do it to. As for the food - who would've guessed that bagging corn nuggets before getting the burger it took 10 minutes to make would result in a barely warm bag of corn nuggets? More mysterious, however, was how in the world the burger wasn't hot after all that time cooking. Do yourself a favor and walk away if it takes you 3 minutes of standing directly in front of the team members who are at the counter with no greeting. Don't give them the benefit of the doubt, no matter how much you once loved it. I'm grateful for the experience to teach me to stop vouching for small town stops if I haven't been there myself recently. Here's to hoping no one I recommended this place to recently has gone, or that they had a better experience than I did!

They're open most days from 7 AM-2 PM, closed on Tuesdays, and on Sundays they set up across the street at the market. I was really impressed by the variety they offer! They have everything from classic coffee and lattes to non-coffee drinks, baked goods, and food items. They even carry add-ins and powders like creatine, chaga, and MCT oil, which I thought was such a cool touch. Of course, I had to go with an iced matcha with vanilla flavor. Their matcha isn't sweetened, so adding the vanilla was perfect for me. It was delicious and definitely a 10/10! The service was great, friendly and helpful, I even got a punch card!
