Stopped by this location about 45 minutes before closing and saw multiple cars, including mine, being turned away. We were told that Frappuccinos, matcha drinks, and even cash were not available. To make things more confusing, the drive-thru lights and sign were already turned off, which made it seem like the store was closed--even though it was still well before the posted closing time. I completely understand that staff want to go home and that closing procedures start early, but turning customers away from a large portion of the menu that far in advance of closing is not acceptable. If the store closes at 10 PM, customers should still be able to order normally closer to that time, or at the very least be clearly informed of limited service ahead of time. Hoping this is addressed moving forward. read more

I always get my Mocha Frap - non fat milk with no whip, extra pumps of mocha and light on the ice. But this morning with the chilly weather I opted to have a mocha hit latte( I wait till it cools down...I'm not a fan of hot drinks or food) with non fat milk, no whip and extra pumps of mocha! Although service is a little slow, this Starbucks is a great study spot. There are several tables to study from and also many outlets for your electronic charging needs. It has not been opened for long so it has not been very crowded during the times that I have come in. So far I have always been able to find a seat to study at. When I come, I usually stay for a solid 3 hours and the crowd has been consistent. A little busier around 3 when school gets out but still very manageable. They also have a drive thru that set this location apart from the Starbucks on Red Road, in the Walmart plaza. The drive thru has been quick in my experience and the staff has been helpful. read more

Brand new Starbucks which happens to be close to my boyfriend's place. Passed by the drive-thru window on Black Friday and it was surprisingly free. Well, maybe there was one person ahead of us, but that's about it. No comments on the inside of this store, but the outside has a spacious drive-thru. I had no feeling of being cramped at all. Barista who attended us was peppy given the day. Very helpful, too. We were in and out before we knew it, and just like the majority of Starbucks locations, my drink was on point. I ordered online and went to pick up in the drive thru. At the speaker I asked to add a sandwich on to my order and was rudely cut off mid-sentence saying they didn't have that and to pull forward. I recently got hooked on the canned vanilla energy double shot Starbucks coffee sold in Walgreens and gas stations and wanted to try one at Starbucks! Kris convinced me to try the real thing! Not only was it described perfectly.. but kris even personally made it for me at the drive they window! (He made sure there was no line of customers at the counter or the driver thru first of customers). Knowing that I can rely on a hearty and robust espresso blend perfectly served with the most delectable mixins, I can order my annoying coffee order without fear of them getting it wrong. Coffee is essential to survival in Miami and there's plenty if times when a colada won't satisfy your millennial soul. Now that I'm a Matcha fan, I've been able to alternate here with my order. Coming to Miami Lakes proves to be worth it when I have the opportunity to get my dosage of artisanal caffeine to make it through the day. There's plenty of useful stuff in this shopping center and since it's right next to the palmetto, it's very easy to access as well. Sometimes we need a pick me up for our sleepy mornings or groggy afternoons and this Starbucks locations comes in handy to do just that. read more

However, this time I got off to do some work and although the atmosphere is quiet and perfect to accomplish everything you need to do the service was not good. I actually will drive out of my way to go to THIS Starbucks location out of the 3 located in Miami Lakes because the customer service is ALWAYS amazing! The staff here know how to make you feel ok about paying over $5 for a latte. On top of the warm fuzzies the staff gives you they seem to nearly always get the drink made perfectly as well!
