I just don't think Starbucks can afford bad customer service right now. This is one of my go to locations and tonight it was weird. The manager said that I needed to come in to order rather than drive through ordering. I was at the drive thru window because the delivery truck was blocking the door and the drive thru lane. So I just drove up to the window like the vehicle ahead of me.(which they served and had lengthy convo) The young lady that conveyed what the manager said, went on to say they were counting money and was closing in 7 min-it was 8:23pm, they normally close at 9. So if I wanted anything, I had to hurry up and park, come into the blocked door on the side etc. She confirmed I would have to do that IF I wanted a coffee. lol I called the Bill Gardner location and they are open until 9 like the app reads, so I went there instead. Bad vibes, and too many wishy washy moods lately. I will pass on this location for a while. If you're closing in 7 minutes (IF) then the common sense action to do is take the last order of the evening at the window that was actually available. I think people should just find other work if they don't like their jobs-why take of out on a paying/tip always customer. read more

I had a lovely experience at this location. I had a couple meetings to take after my car was done being serviced. I'm used to going to the other location - but I have to saw this one had a nice homey touch. Loved the seating area - it really gave coffee shop vibes. Comfortable seating compared to the other location. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door -- I ordered my usual -- bacon Gouda breakfast sandwich and caramel latte with oat milk -- everything was perfect and quick! I was happy the music wasn't blaring loud like most locations -- I was able to take my meetings without a disturbance. read more

I ordered ahead on my way to work. I arrived 5 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready. Upon entering, there was no greeting from the staff. There was another customer waiting. I saw a third employee put on gloves then put on a headset. Thankfully, she picked up a spray bottle and didn't handle food. The counters were dirty which led me to believe they weren't cleaned the night before as this was the 6 AM hour. A fourth employee emerged from the restroom and finally greeted the customers and assisted with filling orders. This is not the first issue I've had at this location. I pulled up at Starbucks right and I ordered a Venti chocolate chip cookie crumble Frappuccino the one without the mocha and she asked me are you OK with the one without the mocha because we don't have any more mocha? The donuts tasted like they were store bought, they didn't say the mango refresher had pineapple in it (which I'm allergic to) and I didn't know until I looked at the app. Needless to say I changed my drink but the cashiers need to make sure they tell customers what the drinks consist of. We did a mobile order and picked up through the drive thru with no issue, we did have a problem with 2 drinks. The coffee Frappuccino tasted horrible & my iced coffee was filled half way with sweet cream. So I ran in to have them remade, she asked what the issue was and I told her the Frappuccino tasted like it had triple the amount of frap roast and it was so strong. She was very annoyed & said well what's it taste like what's the issue. It tastes like I stuck my straw in the frap roast & drank that!!! Then with the iced coffee they didn't have anymore so they filled my cup with the sweet cream. There was no offer given for that. I feel like if my drink is disgusting & I kindly ask for it to be remade I should get attitude like it's my fault. We were passing through on I75 and stopped here. It was extremely busy but I was greeted immediately. While I waited I observed the employees hustling and working as a team. They took great care to make sure everyone waiting on mobile orders got what they were waiting for. I walked in and received my order in a reasonable amount of time. I was waiting on my sandwich and told it wouldn't be much longer--and it wasn't. I'm not one to give rave reviews to those who don't deserve it. Whenever I am shopping in the Southpoint area I always pass by this location. A colleague of mine told me to try this chai tea drink from Starbucks. Lately, I've been on a coffee detox and have been avoiding Starbucks cuz I didn't want to go off the detox. Anyway I got the chai tea hot with almond milk. Absolutely delicious and worth every dollar and penny spent. I went early in the morning before 6:30 so I was able to get in/out within 10 minutes or so. The drive thru only had 3 other cars so it went pretty seamless. To accompany my drink I got the coffee cake which is my favorite pastry at Starbucks. I will most definitely be back soon. That hot chai tea is something you gotta go back to. read more

This location is on highway 81 (exit 218 off of I-75), near a waffle house and across the street from a large shopping plaza that includes a Kohls and JC Penny. The interior is small to medium compared to other locations. There is also a small patio area. Great experience this morning. There was a small line, but it moved swiftly. I ordered a venti PSL and a reduced fat turkey bacon sandwich. The person taking orders was very courteous and repeated my order back to me as was the young lady who took payment and handed my food over. read more

So I did a mobile order today and I walked in & was waiting because I couldnt see my drink in the midst of random drinks, I wasnt greeted. My drink wasnt sitting on the drink shelf for mobile orders, it ended up being to the side. After standing there, the girl with the braids didnt even acknowledge or ask if i was waiting after she finished making all her drinks. I had to ask another employee for her to just pull my drink from a random group sitting next to miscellaneous things. What a seriously friendly, engaging and accommodating crew!!!!!!! After passing a couple of Starbucks that were still closed, we found this store open. Unfortunately, the store was disheveled and unkempt from all the boxes delivered for supplies; and the restroom was pretty unkempt- but giving this a 4 star because of the terrific crew this morning at 6:01am The drive through was packed and it was rocking/ but the 4 girls inside treated us walk-ins like we were the only customer on planet earth. They were ssssssso super nice; they interacted and helped each other like they were best friends; lacking of supplies (Covid supply issues) they did their best to find a cream alternative for us. We ate breakfast for a few minutes. As soon as the drive through cleared they were hustling to clean, tidy up and freshen supplies. Kudos to the 4 girls behind the counter. If you like a coffee shop to waste your time, this location is for you. The wait time at this location is extremely terrible. It's been bad, it's not like they're even trying to improve it. It's bad to wait 30 minutes for coffee and it's bad. I can see if we waited 30 minutes and the coffee is amazing, but it's not. What makes it worse is that we were in the drive-thru. The level of consistency with the Starbucks franchise and this location is terrible. A very busy and popular store. Lots of folks come thru this store. I had the pleasure of camping out in this store as I patiently waited for my kid to get done with his 4 hour long robotic competition. This is the most time I have ever spent in a Starbuck. This store is busy. On a Saturday AM, at least 5-7 baristas and the orders were coming non-stop. They managed to keep a short line and the drive thru was efficient as well. These folks are pretty good. My uncomplicated order of a medium black coffee was easily handled. I guess I didn't give the barista much of a challenge. She looked a little disappointed. Well, next time my caffeine cowboy, .. next time I'll be like Leonidas. I'm gonna drop you a complicated order, " I want a quad caf/decaf split over hot soy and coco milk with no foam and 2 pumps of classic.... " and you be like.. My sister and I ordered One Venti Iced Caramel Macchiato with and extra shot of espresso and whipped cream, and One Venti Iced Latte with caramel and almond milk and whipped cream as well. We kept getting cut off from speaking and we repeatedly asked if they had our order correct after repeating it once more and they said yes. We got One Venti Iced Caramel Macchiato with no extra espresso and no whipped cream. The second drink they gave us was One Venti Iced Coffee with vanilla and regular cream. This is quite possibly the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to in my entire life. I've been a regular at Starbucks for at least 15 years. I've been to numerous locations in various cities and I've even gone to the very first location in Seattle, Washington. Out of all of them, this one is the worst. It takes forever to get your drink, even when you place a mobile order! It's ridiculous. Then after waiting for 20 minutes for a basic Grande Caramel Macchiato, the drink tastes terrible. It's extra bitter and there is no caramel or whip cream as I had requested. I really hate that this location sucks because it's the closest to my house. I'm so furious. I ordered an iced green tea latte and it wasn't even properly mixed. Of course I paid before I saw the drink otherwise I would not have purchased the drink. Once I politely questioned the barista she told me that "they all look like that, you must have not ordered one from here before". Are you serious?
