I walked into this Starbucks and immediately wondered if I'd accidentally stumbled into an abandoned gas station restroom. Floors? Covered in trash and what looked like a buffet of mystery crumbs. Tables? Sticky crime scenes. Flies? Let's just say they were thriving--probably earning more Stars than I ever will. I ordered 4 drinks, and while waiting, I debated calling an exterminator. The staff seemed totally unbothered by the filth, like this was just another Tuesday in Fly Café. By the time I got my drinks, I was seriously debating whether consuming them would come with a free case of food poisoning. Gross doesn't even begin to cover it. If Starbucks ever wanted to open a "Haunted House" theme location, this would be the perfect pilot store. read more

I used to come to this Starbucks everyday, but not anymore. First is the service. It's a really bad issue regarding this specific one. I understand during the summer everyone is going to the hamptons and wants to stop to get coffee, but spending a hour on line is diabolical. I see everyone waiting for minutes at the speaker waiting for someone to ask what they need. And I see people waiting at the window for 10 minutes for one item. If they need more workers maybe they should post on Facebook or something because the service there is not very good. The food is always good, but lately the coffee has been very nasty. I always get a blonde vanilla latte with oatmilk and the last 4 times I've gotten it for some reason it tastes like alcohol? I come here at least 3 times/week because it is on route to my job. The service is ALWAYS stellar. I have also stopped for lunch on occasion and the service is the same. It's actually the nicest Starbucks that I've ever been in. I usually use the drive through however when I go inside, the Baristas are very friendly and they have drink samples at times as well. Zero stars. I go to the Starbucks located on County Road 111 in Manorville, NY every day at approximately 10:15 in the morning. For some reason, at this time there is never any dark roast available and the girl tells me that the manager doesn't want to brew any more. Well the joke is on her, because the lovely girl behind the counter adds a shot (sometimes two) of espresso to my coffee at no additional cost to me. Every day, for 3 years, one (sometimes two) FREE shots of espresso. Additionally, this location is without question the filthiest location I have ever visited. There are constantly flies EVERYWHERE inside, mess on the floor, etc. I can only imagine what the bathrooms are like. THE WORST manager in any customer service related business I have EVER come into contact with. So bad I'm writing corporate as well. I often wonder, as I am a minority woman, if my caucasian husband would have been treated the same. Judging from my past experiences, I'm willing to bet this manager I'm speaking of would have been more respectful towards my caucasian husband. That's the feeling I got! Anyway, this manager is short, Caucasian, longer straight hair, on the chubby side for lack of a better word. I will find out her name. I order on the mobile Ap. The point of the mobile Ap...anyone? To pick up order so one doesn't have to wait in line. I arrive and enter the building at 5-8 minutes until my order is ready. I see 2 of my items ready, one of which a hot coffee. I wait patiently follow the rules of the ap. At the 2-5 minute alert the manager asks me if I'm picking up an order, I say yes and she says "we're waiting on one more item". That's not news to me as I've been waiting 6 minutes watching people run around Starbucks but no one seems to finish my order. So I ask her can I grab my coffee while I wait for my one item? She says, "No, we usually give the whole order together". I've already paid for my coffee give me my coffee I'm thinking!!!!! I'm waiting now 8 minutes and still no sandwich, why did my husband order a sandwich I'm thinking... the Ap says, your order is NOW ready. Still no sandwich. I clearly see they are busy but come on people, admit your forgot about me and my sandwich own the mistake and apologize. I wait 3 more minutes then say, "my Ap says my order is ready". The rude manager responds, "it's coming" and I think, its not coming, I'm watching the entire process of this unorganized Starbucks. Why would you just straight up lie to me? I then say, "we'll at least can I have my coffee?!?" She goes, "fine" and literally shoved it in my face. I've had it at this point- why did I even use the mobile Ap, I should have just showed up. I say to her, "I've been waiting 10 minutes, 4 minutes past my order being ready, no one has made my sandwich- I've watched my drinks sit here for almost 15 minutes- just please finish my order so I can leave." She didn't hear all that I said because she kept cutting me off saying rude things and topping it off with, "we're busy, if this is the worst of your day than God forbid!" And WALKS away!!! I'm stunned, am I dealing with a child? Walks away without resolving my complaint?? I can't believe a manager responded this way, not an apology and lemme stop what I'm doing to get your sandwich. None of that. I then yell out in the store, "Can someone just make my sandwich!!!!" I'm about to leave then 2 minutes later, one of her employees on her own accord, note the manager didn't even ask her to help me. She took 5 more minutes to make my sandwich but I appreciated her acting more like the manager than the ACTUAL manager. What an experience that was... I haven't had a customer experience so bad in years, I'm patient and nice and I'm in the service industry. Mistake #1 give the customer their coffees if they are waiting... really, come on! Mistake #2 apologize to the customer and stop what you're doing to make their sandwich- trust that your customer wouldn't complain unless there was an issue. Clearly customers using the mobile Ap are responsible, organized, efficient, planner type people. Mistake #3 Respect your customers, you don't know their backstory. Do not say disrespectful things to your customers, be kind and courteous. She should be FIRED!!!! I can't believe Starbucks is represents itself with disrespectful employees. I thought Starbucks was better then this. They may have lost a customer here. I'm literally typing a letter to Corporate Starbucks as we speak. read more

I hate to write reviews about Starbuck$, just a pet peeve of mine. However! This Starbucks is the trippiest Starbucks in New York State. Why? Because its the gateway to the east end. Every person traveling to Foxwood casino, the Hamptons via the LIE (what Hamptons? pick one) as well as Splish Splash, Tanger Mall, Wine Country and the Orient Point Ferry all stop at this particular Starbucks. Me? I stop to get my drink and people watch. I have seen over the years some outrageous looking automobiles, beautiful looking woman as well as the biggest doofus a-holes on the planet. Most of the time they get my drink wrong. I ordered a refresher with no ice, so they leave like 2 inches of empty space in my cup. I order no ice so you would fill my drink all the way since ice takes up so much room. And when I ask them to take the ice out and fill the cup all the way, I usually get an eye roll from the barista. One of the workers, she might be a manager or supervisor, but she is always cranky and in a bad mood. Her name is Deb/Debbie. She has short blonde hair. As a partner, I'm always disappointed any time I've come here. I know the type of service we're supposed to provide and honestly the effort that goes into it really isn't asking much. I would say maybe some of these people are new but even someone new to a job would think to at the very least smile. The drinks are always made correctly but any time I've visited the area I usually try to avoid it if I can but if I'm getting a craving for it and not really wanting to make the drive elsewhere I'll stop here. I went here late night during the summer. There was not a long line and the baristas were awesome. They were doing their job and enjoying themselves. Someone was very rude to them that day, saying the music they were playing was horrible. If you're working somewhere, you should be enjoying the music. Especially if it is almost closing time, you need to get into the groove of cleaning and whatnot. I would like to say the service was good and everyone was very nice to me. I'd like to make this clear for those of us (like me!) who are unfamiliar with the area and GPSing for a desperately needed latte - when you see a small Starbucks emblem, it is not a mirage - This Starbucks isn't not "near" Capital One, it IS Capital One! It's like one of those weird roadie hybrid stops - like Pizza Hut/Dunkin Donuts/Subway combos, except it's Capital One & Starbucks? Interesting and random all at once, (especially when considering the location) but it certainly gets the job done! The staff was very kind, accommodating, professional and best of all - efficient! I was in and out with my much-needed sandwich & latte and am certainly pleased! My only reason for 4/5 stars is the lack of seating - one of my favorite qualities of Starbucks is the atmosphere, one that I can always sit down and get some work caught up on. Unfortunately, this location doesn't have any seating at all - a bar near a window for resting on, but no seats or any kind of chairs around. I so desperately want to give this place 5 stars because everyone who works here are so kind and sweet and patient! I've been coming here for years and I'm never disappointed. Except there is one outlier here: Debbie. I have no problem sharing her name because she is one of the rudest retail workers I've ever encountered. I worked retail for 12 years, we have bad days and it shows. But apparently Debbie is having a perpetually bad day. She is consistently rude and short with customers. For example, I received two sandwiches that were absolutely cold and clearly not cooked or not cooked long enough. No problem, it happens. Since I had taken a bite of one of the sandwiches and realized it wasn't cooked I threw it away. As I said, it happens and I'm there a lot and I wasn't going to go back in about it. Except the second sandwich was downright frozen. Again, no problem, but this time I went back in. Unfortunately, Debbie was manning the register and I explained that both sandwiches were still cold and asked if I could get a refund or a new sandwich. She ROLLS HER EYES and takes the sandwich and turns towards the oven. Then, she half turns around and flippantly says "well where's the other sandwich?" I said I threw it away and she chuckles. Debbie is the seething zit on the face of what would be a perfect establishment. I wasn't going to write this review till today when I got on the drive thru line with 8 minutes till closing and she told me "I'm probably not going to make it" but didn't tell anyone else to leave the line. Again, I've worked retail a long time and am sympathetic but there's a difference between a bad day and a jerk. read more

Great Place to stop off before getting on the highway. This is a great Starbucks with a friendly staff. The store itself if extremely small with only outdoor seating but supposedly they are expanding and putting in room for seating. When you pull in it looks like there is a drive-thru but don't be deceived that was for the old bank. read more

Went there Monday this week. Had to drive my mom to the doctor's in the morning and hadn't had time to eat or grab anything. I was getting super cranky, decided it was just a bad day. Came here from across the street and got some breakfast. Now food and drink makes anybody's day better, but the young lady at the drive through turned my day around. I didn't catch her name, but she was just cheerful and friendly. She complimented my glasses and was just so kindhearted. It was clear she was like that with everyone who pulled up. That's really the biggest thing that matters to me at any business; how you leave your customer feeling.
