Hi so my boyfriend had gone to this Starbucks to get me a drink and he doesn't speak that much English but he tries. So what happened was he went to the counter and even apologized and said " hi how are you? My English is bad" before ordering letting the worker know. Anyways the worker said okay and took his order and he managed to order my drink but when he was getting his phone ready to pay with Apple Pay he could see that the worker had gotten the attention of the other workers to look at him like making fun of him because he can't speak English and they all started giggling and laughing. My boyfriend felt embarrassed and said he had the worst experience because the guy at the register was not kind to him and they made fun of him. In all honesty I feel so bad for him and ashamed becase this happened. read more

I never thought that I would be giving anyone a one star review, but I guess that today is the day. And yes, I know that Uber Eats and Door Dash, etc. can make mistakes, but this is solely an issue with this Starbucks and it's employees. The management at this store could use some training in how in to treat its customers. Just because you ran out of a particular syrup does not mean that I should pay for a drink that never arrived. I didn't receive a donut but they gave me a gift card to make up the balance for it. My missing drink was not addressed and there was nothing written on the bag so the Uber Eats driver didn't know that it was missing. My reason for ordering via Uber Eats was that so I could have my coffee delivered to me at my home. Unfortunately, when we called to inquire about it, they kept blaming the new employee for making the mistake instead of trying to making things right. On top of all of this, the manager was very hostile and insensitive to the situation. She wanted us to come in to pick up the drink that they didn't include in the order. For the past two months I have stop ever other day in the afternoon and evenings to this Starbucks noticing that the service have gone down the drain little by little. It is not the customers fault that the servers have issues internally, rude service is not ok, specially when there is no reason for them to be rude. Even the late night servers have better altitude and manners than the afternoon and evening personnel - considering that the late night gets all the drunks and junkies-. Not only the service have gone down the drain, but most of the drinks are going in tase and quality below a McDonalds in the middle of nowhere! I got a Van Cream Col brew that tastes just like your average coffee and cream with no sugar. The other day I got a Nitro with no Nitro, sure I could always come back and ask to get a exchange, but, if they are giving me already a really bad aptitude, rude service and I am in a rush, going back is a no no. I was so excited this morning to get my holiday drink.. The employee at the window was very rude( did not catch his/their name) He/they (not sure of pronouns) did not even greet me properly and scolded me for not ordering my mobile order more than 5 minutes before getting there. I even tipped, I always do, I am never going back to this location again. I understand how frustrating and stressful it is to work during the holidays where it's the busiest, as I have worked retail and at a fast food place before, but do not take it out on the customers. The Matcha Green Tea Soy Latte with almond milk is quite refreshing! It's made from powder with milk added to it. Normally the latte comes with soy milk, but I wish I didn't have to pay $0.60 extra for almond milk! The latte was good, but a tad sweet (not overly sugary). I wish I could change the sweetness of it to completely unsweetened. I was surprised to find out that the Matcha Soy Latte with almond milk only has 120 calories and 15 grams of sugar from the Starbucks site. While the green tea frappuccino version has a whopping 43 grams of sugar and that's without the whipped cream! If you are looking for a sweet treat without feeling guilty, I recommend the Matcha Green Tea Soy Latte with almond milk. It's worth the curiosity! read more

If you go inside and haven't mobile ordered you could be in for a lengthy wait. Drive thru orders have priority here, as they should. The interior offers a reasonable amount of comfortable seating and work space. There's a variety of high and low tables and conversational seating. The bathrooms are roomy enough for a stroller (for all you moms out there) and are generally clean. They also offer changing tables. This Starbucks is brand new. It's been open 4-5 weeks. The sign for the Starbucks has been up for a couple of years - apparently Starbucks held off on building this location when they went through a period of closing locations a couple of years ago. It's in the same complex as the new Costco, Walgreens, and Chick-fil-A. Had a Grande, triple shot, iced latte with whole milk. Lots of seating in here. They have this really cool long table with rough edges - looks like it was hewn out of a tree with insect channels. Good service! read more

Terrible service and the worse customer service ever received at any Starbucks location. (at 10683 Sudley Manor Dr, Manassas, VA) The person that since to be in charge today, 1/7/2023, at 4:30 PM either doesn't have the proper training, or it's just that way--terrible attitude. The majority of the customer were upset. The youth employee with a red apron at the register was having problems with the writing on the cups and bags for the warm-up product, as the staff couldn't understand what she was writing. You can tell, for lack of better words, that the lady in charge wanted to hurt her by the way she was looking at her. I also tried to get a credit for a cup that I received as a gift for Christmas, as I received the same cup twice. I was trying to get a credit not money back, and she was very rude and told me if I don't have the receipt, I couldn't do it. (the cup was new, not used, with all labels and documentation inside the cup) All be aware if you buy a cup at Starbucks as a gift for a friend or a family member that unless you include the purchase recipe with thebgift (dosen't make sense) the person who receive the gift will not be able to return or exchange it according to the person in charge at the location mentioned above. You will be better off buying something else somewhere else for a gift. read more

Made my order wrong the 1st time which is SUPER understandable! I went back and asked nicely, said please and thank you, and got my drink again. The 2nd time around, my drink still wasn't made correctly. When I went back the 3rd time, I asked for a refund and the girl helping me (can't break it down more other than her being white, sorry) she was giving attitude from the jump. The Gainesville Starbucks is where I go most of the time. The staff is very overworked even though there's quite a few of them. Seems like the phone in orders are never ending. Being a prior partner I take note of things that others miss. we have a regular van who's always smiling and greets people couple of the young ladies do as well that you can catch the stress level on their faces as they try to keep up as best they can. I have had days I can't even go in it is so packed with people waiting. I have never had an order messed up or incorrect, so that is a big kudos to them. Virginian seem to be very patient waiting for the drinks and food so I am glad for that. I do love the Gainesville Starbucks and even when I have to wait I understand and the quality is wonderful. I can't believe that more people are not complaining about how slow the drive thru is. I have been to this Starbucks many times over the years and the slowness of these barristas is beyond compare. I used to think the Starbucks on 29 in Warrenton was the slowest but no longer. And at least its parking lot is not freakishly small for the volume of cars it attracts. One of my go-to places whenever I return to my hometown of Manassas. Located just off of route 234 and Sudley Manor Drive and to the front left of Costco, this Starbucks location provides very prompt and friendly service at all hours of the day. I mention at all hours of the day due to the fact that this location is open 24 hours, 7 days a week (what's not to love about that?). While the drive-thru may seem to get a little tedious due to the Costco traffic (you may have to loop around only once at times), receiving your order is fairly prompt. Please keep in mind that this more than likely the busiest Starbucks location in all of Prince William County (no exaggeration) due to its close proximity to I-66 as well as the 234 bypass. Yet once again, its 24 hours. If you are on your way to work to the Vienna metro or whatever, leave a bit early on Monday-Friday. Also, this location has quite a bit of traffic on Sundays between 10-2 PM for some reason. There is a sufficient amount of indoor and outdoor seating at this location. The layout of this Starbucks has a bar area to the left of the barista counter (pretty cool), followed by smaller tables on the far left. For larger groups of 4-5 people to chill out and get last minute group work done, its better to sit within the area closest to the front door or by the napkin stand. Customer service at this location is very good. Every time that stop here, the employees are usually in an enthusiastic mood. This is quite helpful, considering that life can get kinda serious at times in the Northern Virginia area. My orders are handled accurately, and without error. The WiFi at this location is also quite good. The store itself is well-stocked and managed by the well-tanned and approachable Laura. It wasn't that long ago when the only coffee game in town was dominated by Dunkin' Doughnuts, McDonald's, and Bad Ass Coffee (all on route 234). So glad that this location is here to give the customers what they want, as well as what they need when in Manassas. Clearly, this location has to be the best in the area. read more

This was on my way back to work,  I have to say that all of the reviews below are true if they agree with me. Although I just found this Starbucks location a few weeks ago and haven't become a "regular" yet, the staff truly is friendly and fast--even in the mornings and weekends. There was one occasion where someone accidentally grabbed my chocolates because it was  very busy so I had to wait longer than normal for my drinks. I informed them and they remade the drinks. The manager immediately gave me a free drink coupon to rectify the situation. I really think THAT's how you keep people coming back. So update on my previous review, this Starbucks is now even worse than before. Not only was there an issue the last time I came but to no surprise, there was yet another fail. I ordered a iced vanilla latte and of course I don't have time to sit there in the drive thru and open my straw to take a sip to make sure it's right. When you oder something so simple you would think and trust them to make it right. Not at this Starbucks. I was already down the street about 5 minutes away when I got the chance to taste my drink and it was SO bitter. I just knew they forgot to add the vanilla syrup. I was not about to go back and sit in the drive thru line again so they could fix it. Luckily, there's a Starbucks at the Barnes & Noble I was on my way to and they fixed the drink for me. Oh look a Starbucks Review. This location is typically quite quick and accurate with their beverage assembly. The other fantastic thing about this location is that it is 24 hours! My last visit I was helped by a smile filled cafe craftsman named Hailey? In no time she had me checked out and my beverage on the way! That said, all of the staff here are always friendly. The one down side, and it is not so much the establishment's fault. Depending on the time of day you visit, if you are driving, you have a better chance of winning $1000 dollars on a scratch of ticket than getting near the place, let alone finding a parking spot. (Lunch time , Rush hour, and Dinner time are nightmares). The parking design of this shopping center seems to have been created by a fourth grader. Any place that opens 24 hours is great but a Starbucks that's opened 24 hours??? And a drive through so my lazy butt doesn't have to get out the car?!?! I have died and gone to coffee heaven!! I only come here when I'm on my way to the GMU campus and usually stop by after if I'm having a serious craving. This place takes care of my coffee and passion tea lemonade (sweetened of course) addiction! Service is excellent here and the drinks are consistenly delicious! Drive-through is pretty fast with an accurate order each time. I haven't been inside yet but I'm sure it's the same! Crazy af for the first hour I was here. Unfortunately not the quietest place for studying or doing any work. Maybe cause it's summer time, but annoying young kids screaming and loud iPads inside. The barista finally came by to tell them they needed to use their inside voices, and they moved their party outside. There was a good amount of seating, but finicky power outlets.
