I've been here probably 50+ times since they opened. I usually work here for 1-2 hours, but sometimes I just mobile order after dropping off kids at high school. Drive-thru and mobile orders are always busy. The crew has changed over the years but Ashley is a rock star that has been here a while. Always friendly to me and the people around me. They even remember my order. They work hard and move quickly. Having been here so much I get to observe how they treat others. They seem to be always making it right when the customer doesn't like something. Frequently, people sit outside with their dogs and do a great job of keeping the area safe. The one thing they could improve on is fixing the lock on the front door. It's almost humorous at this point. It randomly locks from outside and people are looking inside trying to get in. Doesn't happen often and they quickly fix it, but I think the door is cursed! read more

I stop by this Starbucks once a month or so. I always order in the cafe and service is quick, mornings and evenings. Baristas are all friendly. Jessica often takes my order and knows what I normally get which is nice. Natalie is very good at making the drinks taste good. Cafe is always clean. Oleato drinks are awful though. read more

My experience at this Starbucks typically is positive,however,my son (ASD) and I went inside due to the long line on our most recent visit (4/8) . My son can sometimes wander and stim and has a coughing tick that we handle and try to keep him regulated. The front cashier couldn't have been more rude to us. She seemed quite annoyed and bothered by my son's behavior. I hate that this experience leaves me to leave this review but all patrons should be treated the same. We'll stick to the drive thru or visit our more friendly starbucks (Lake Cook /12). read more

This Starbucks seems to not be very speedy. It's the third time now I ordered via mobile and the order takes a long time. I ordered an americano. It took 12 minutes from the time I ordered. Worse yet I while waiting i decided to get a bag of espresso beans. I waited a couple minutes while the Starbucks guy at the register talked to someone he knew. I changed my mind as I was in a hurry. This store needs to step it up. As a side note 2 cars were in the drive thru and 1 person in line inside. read more

Excellent place with a staff that goes out of their way to make things right. There was an odd glitch in the app, but they made sure that everything was taken care of immediately. It's a nice place to chill and hangout. Starbucks are always pleasant, comfortable, and relaxing. Recommend for a first date or at least a nice first cup of coffee. The interior space is big, study spot. The staff are super nice and great, college life and work atmosphere. They make your coffee good and strong just how I like it. The coffee is fantastic! The food is excellent! Diverse staff if you're wondering, indoor restroom available too, spaces and clean. Staff walking around cleaning the tables often which is nice. I recommend coming here to relax, its cozy, and comfy which is nice. So go experience it yourself. read more

Sometimes I feel like I'll never be able to break free from the shackles of Starbucks. I've used both the drive thru and gone inside of this location. There's not much too it, the service is pretty good. The location can be a bit awkward to pull in to, depending on where you're entering from. Parking and seating can also be full at times. Starbucks is known for having good crewmembers, but this team is exceptional in their customer service. Warm, friendly, and when I have a question, they are not condescending at all. Even more helpfully, they seem to anticipate the question I might ask next and offer the information I'm going to need before I can even say it. And they say it with a smile! I love this Starbucks! I always have a great experience here. Today I tried to order a s'mores frappuccino. Adrian (sp?) politely informed me it was discontinued which was a bummer, but I ordered a mocha frappuccino instead and asked they add some marshmallow syrup. I got to the window and they recreated my drink just like the s'mores frappuccino with the graham cracker crumbles on top and mocha drizzle inside the cup. This made my day! This coffee place was delightful. Great desserts and coffee. They never mess up my order and I'm pretty picky with my coffee! It was prepared exactly like I asked. I was greeted by the staff and made my experience exceptional and were patient with me when making my choices. They were very friendly and had excellent customer service. Breakfast sandwiches are fine, but they're pre-made and just heated at the shop; my coffee experience has been touch and go--seems like it depends on who makes it. They make a good Carmel macchiato, but my drive-through requests for dark roast w cream and sugar is always inconsistent. Ordered 2 passion fruit iced tea and asked twice to be super light on ice. Order came in with cups halfway filled with ice‍. When I asked if that is my order of 2 teas with super light ice, I got... - eyes rolling - talking to the rest of the employees how this is what I ordered - very nonchalant attitude giving us a " fixed " order. Without a word, she gave us the cups with the look on her face , that was... between I don't care and whatever. Forgot to give me my cc back... when I asked for it guess what ...? I use to visit this location pretty often but due to some employees I have started visiting other location. My coffee and orders come up good no complaints but as any Starbucks can taste same it is their costumer service make me venture somewhere else. Either I have to keep asking napkins or straws or cup holders when I have 3 or 4 cups of order alone through drive it is annoying. And when I'm inside I want to give my order smoothly not feeling as if I'm begging her to take it. It is few employees that dragging their team down, too sad. read more

This Starbucks is amazing. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. Taylor, Ryan and Rachel are always chatty and very fun to joke around with. They know my order and sometimes even have it ring in before I have time to order it (knowing full well I never change my drink). I am Glad I found this one. I used to take buffalo grove road home, but changed my route because the one on buffalo grove road and aptakisic was not very good and the staff was ehhh. I'm a Starbucks junky, so I decided to check this one out, since it was new. Big mistake. I ordered a Grande Decaf and raisin bagel(pretty simple order, don't you think?). I asked them to double-toast the bagel(I like them dark). I picked it up and it was cold. Was my request really that difficult, or do they not listen to their customers? After waiting 10 minutes, I went up to the counter and asked what was happening with my Grande Decaf. The barista told me they hadn't brewed the decaf, yet. I asked them why they didn't tell me this fact at the time of the order, since I could have ordered something else. Deer in the headlights. My experience with Long Grove Starbucks was a complete fail. The baristas at this location need to be trained by the baristas at the Wheeling Starbucks, so they can learn how to do their jobs. read more

I visit this Starbucks once a week on my way to a weekly meeting, so this is not a "regular daily" type of Starbucks for me. I am always impressed with them in comparison to my main other 3 in Glendale Heights area. 1. ) They are always personal. Even in a long line, they always ask for a name, tell you who will be at the window and are very friendly. 2.) You can tell they take care of their regulars. Many times when I'm in the drive thru I can hear them say hi to someone and be able to repeat their regular order to them(which is crazy to me because of how busy a Starbucks is). 3.) They rarely mess up my drinks- I think it has happened once which is very rare to me. I appreciate if I have a crazy drink order for me trying to cut my carbs, they don't sound annoyed. I had heard from others that the service and quality of this new Starbucks was not good. I decided to give them a try today and everything that I heard about the Starbucks was true. The baristas were unfriendly and impatient. When I went back up to the counter to ask them to sweeten my daughter's iced latte, the barista saw me but kept me standing there for a couple minutes (she was not helping anyone else and clearly saw me) and then finally said "What's wrong with your tea? in a very abrupt manner. Very unprofessional. Next time I will drive the extra 10 minutes to go to Deer Park. I don't need this kind of negative energy in my day. read more
