Pistachio Turkey Crunch Salad
Kristen D.

So much potential, execution fell flat. We visited for date night and were drawn by the organic, whole food offerings. Fluffy Bunny is a great concept and the menu is stellar. I was ready to start sharing with friends/family but I'm glad I waited. The restaurant is tucked into a historic house in long grove, so the layout/seating areas are cramped. The drink selection is limited and my wine was warm. Our food came and they completely forgot my husband's side of roasted vegetables, so he ate just a steak with raw button mushrooms atop. My salad was great, filling, and flavorful. My great assumption and hope is that they make the roasted turkey in house. But it was very similar to thick cut lunch meat. Our server was very slow to check in and with the previously mentioned misses, we left a bit underwhelmed.

1-star because this establishment is inaccessible to disabled persons or especially those in wheelchairs or with a cane or even a sprained ankle (which I believe is illegal) 1-star for the food and menu choices This is a European Cafe, not American Diner as Yelp states 5 stars For my Italian Prosecco and Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice Bellini They serve no hard liquor, however the lite alcohol champagne Bellini is delicious!! Best that I have ever had!

I looked at the menu before going to Fluffy Bunny Ranch House and it looked quite unique. I was happy that the in restaurant product exceeded my expectations. Located in a historic house in a historic downtown, Fluffy Bunny has an updated and modern look on the inside. The menu features more savory dishes than your typical brunch menu. I had the golden crumble pancakes. They featured blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, and a creamy glaze. Our server was very nice and friendly. I highly recommend Fluffy Bunny Ranch House.

What a cute name for a restaurant. The interior is very bunny forward of course. The decor is calming and comfortable. The seating is varied with chairs and booths. There is a large front window that brings in a lot of light in a good way. The server was kind and attentive. We ordered the Pumpkin cream soup, the Croque Madam Waffle and the Ricotta Fluff. The server returned after we ordered and said the soup was unavailable due to "unforseen circumstances ". The waffle breakfast was good but there was only one thin slice of turkey between the Belgium waffles making it too bready. The egg on top was over cooked and not runny. It was filling though. The Ricotta Fluff was better with avocado tomatoes and an egg. The server comped us an almond croissant in liu of the soups not being available. They make a good cappuccino. The prices are quite expensive for breakfast food. The parking behind the restaurant is very limited but if you park in the lot about a block away there is ample parking. The restaurant is not wheelchair or walker friendly unless there is a back entry that I didn't see. Overall it's a cute place. We may return again to try the soups.

Really enjoyed this place! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The crispy main dish with mashed potatoes was amazing, and the prosciutto & arugula starter was super fresh and flavorful. Cozy atmosphere, great service, and perfect for a relaxed dinner. Would definitely come back!

My favorite place in Long Grove is a place for families and delicious food. The food is completely different from what I've tried elsewhere. We really like the European taste and style. The portions aren't all huge, so ask the waiter how big they are; some are filling, while others are a bit cramped. For moms and families with children, this is the best place because there's a children's room where kids can play while you eat nearby. Thank you so much for this room; now I can meet up with my friends without any problems.

Located right in the heart of Longrove, this is now my favorite place. I loved the interior and the food.

I really enjoyed everything, the food was delicious, and the kid played in the playroom while I sipped my hot coffee. We'll definitely be back.

I'd like to give this place a better review, but having visited a number of area coffee shops and…read morecafes, I can't in good conscious rate them as well. There is a free parking lot with plenty of parking and I found a spot right away on an early Sunday morning. It's very bright and feels more like a retail store atmosphere than a cafe. There were only three tables and a counter running along the back wall. It was easy for two of us to just sit at a table for a while, but as more people came in, we felt guilty taking a table as we just sipped coffee and chatted. They definitely have some kinks to work out and they've only been open for a few months, and they need to train their staff better as they clearly don't understand how to serve with any type speed. They don't do traditional here. You can't just get coffee and a Danish or other typical bakery item. You can't even get toast with butter despite them offering many toast options with toppings. Here's a tip: offer toast with butter or a spread. You'll get a lot more sales with some items that are not super filling. I opted for a hot mocha coffee with an extra pump of chocolate and a crepe. Again, you can't just get plain crepes. They are homemade and should be offered plain, but I digress. I got the Hangover crepe. According to their website, this is the description of The Hangover Crepe: "Start your day right with our delicious breakfast items like bacon, hash browns, scrambled eggs, and cheddar cheese, served till 11 AM. Afterward, enjoy a refreshing acai bowl or pair your breakfast with a cappuccino or a chai tea latte. Don't forget to try our matcha latte for a unique twist at our coffee shop in Buffalo Grove!" Look, I just do marketing for a living, so don't sell me on what you have before and after 11am. Just tell me what you get with this specific crepe. And that's bacon, hash browns, scrambled eggs, and cheese. The scrambled eggs are some of the best fluffy and dry eggs you can get anywhere. They were perfect. The hash browns were in patty form and were perfect for this dish. They serve it as a handheld, but it definitely needs a knife and fork, which you collect at the counter. You have to ask for salt and pepper or a sauce if you want. The savoryness of the items mixed with the sweetness of the crepe was a great combo. It was very tasty. But it took them quite a while to make the crepe. I was mostly finished with by hot mocha which I could have topped off for an additional fee. My compatriot wanted plain toast with butter. Mind you they have six (6) different toast offerings with all sorts of toppings. You can get your toast item made with sourdough, multigrain, white, or gluten-free. However, you can't get plain toast. And just as a side Q&A: when you order toast anywhere else, how many pieces do you typically receive? If you answered two (2) pieces/slices, you'd be correct. Irene's gave him one slice. They first toasted it and burned it badly. They make toast items. How do you screw up toast if you routinely make toast? Then they finally brought out the one slice and asked if he wanted butter. He did, so they took the toast to the kitchen and put two dabs of butter on his toast. But then they didn't give him a knife to spread it, so he used the crust of the bread to spread it on the slice. Like I stated, kinks need to be worked out. While we were there, the owner's family came in and took up two of the tables. Now all three tables were taken. And older couple came in and had to side at the counter height stools along the wall. The food was tasty, the drinks were good. Both are pricey for what they are. And they are seriously lacking seating. It would be nice to see them last in Buffalo Grove, but they need to fix the seating issue (maybe smaller rectangular tables instead of round ones?), and get things out of the kitchen faster, and drinks made more quickly to have more staying power. Oh, and have your family not come all together and take up all your tables.

This is a clean, healthy option for breakfast and coffee! For food options, they have crepes,…read moresandwiches, smoothies, and acai bowls. There are a couple tables if you want to linger, but it's a small space overall. The servers are friendly and accommodating. I had the vegetable crepe and dragon fruit acai bowl, and both were delicious. The crepe itself is really light. The prices are on the higher end for the portion sizes.

Located in Buffalo Grove, it was a haul from the city. For my daughter's 9th bday, I surprised her by bringing her here and letting her pick out whatever she wanted. We went a little crazy, but I'm so grateful we did because everything was phenomenal. Like not just good, spectacular. The chocolate coffee cake was big and I thought, there's no way we'll finish that. I was wrong. The Rugela was buttery and flaky. Perfection. The sprinkle cookies were so nostalgic of my childhood growing up in West Rogers Park with the Jewish bakeries galore. They just don't have enough places like this around anymore and to be nut and dairy free on top of that is just icing on the cake (excuse the pun). The owners were so kind and sweet to my daughters, even giving them each a free smiley face cookie. In terms of Covid protocol, they have it down to a science. No one enters the store. Everything is displayed on a table at the entrance. People were socially distanced and there was hand sanitizer on both sides of the table. I just can't rave enough about my new find. We will most definitely be back! The only bummer is they close at noon and I'm not much of a morning person, but I'll get up and moving early enough if it means chocolate coffee cake is waiting for me!

I just have to hope the parking lot is torn up to keep it empty because there is no reason it was empty on a Friday morning. I will be back even though it is a bit far for breakfast. The stage is a nice touch and it is decorated for fall. Do they do anything with it?
