This branch of Starbucks is one of the many stores in London, located opposite St James Park Tube Station, it is located half a mile from both Victoria and Westminster, making it a rather good, central location.
The store is quite small with limited seating, but this is very common for London, the tables that were there were rather small and really close together due to a lack of space, the outdoor seating was slightly more spacious but certainly not comfortable nor relaxing.
I ordered a Venti Iced Latte with extra vanilla syrup and whipped cream, this came to £3 after my discounts for being a Gold Starbucks Member, and also bringing my own cup so receiving a further discount as a result of that, this is around 5% more in cost than a regular Starbucks, so I again presume this is a franchise store, I have seen the same pricing at few (yet not all) London branches.
My drink was originally made hot which perplexes me considering I asked for it Iced and I gave them a standard cold cup to make it in, the guy who served me seemed really friendly and offered to remake it, realising his mistake before handing it to me.
My beverage again (happened many times in London) wasn't filled, they only filled it to the UK venti size and not the US one, in which is 4 oz bigger and the cup I did use, normally I have no problem in requesting the extra size drink at my local Manchester City Tower store which is excellent.
This branch also seems to have some cool technology in terms of the store compared to other branches, with the digital boards behind broadcasting the menu as well as printing off orders, similar to what is normally done in the United States or everywhere else for mobile orders, and of course the plug sockets had USB charging facilities.
Average beverage quality and service (although service tended to be very good for London!), slightly more seating than other nearby branches help to give this store a slightly generous three-star rating. read more
