Normally everyone is very nice and warm but today was different. I'm a long time Starbucks coffee drinker. My usual is a Venti dark roast, 2 pumps of vanilla and a short cup of cream on the side. This morning I was charged for cream, I noticed because my bill was higher. I politely informed the barista Gladys that I've never paid for the cream to add for my coffee. She asked a higher up and it was confirmed from that moment on Gladis had an attitude. She left my coffee under the drip and delayed getting the cream. I asked for my coffee and the mngr handed it to me while asking Gladis hadn't she taken my order, then I got a dirty look from ms. Gladis. read more

Take a really good look at your drinks before pulling away from the drive through - oh and ask for a receipt so that if you have an issue, corporate customer service will help you out. I failed today on both of these points. Order included a blended strawberry lemonade. Grabbed it and other drinks and food and headed for home. Once home realized the cup was only 3/4 full, no ice, no strawberry puree. Awesome! Did not have time to circle back. I was po'd and dumped it down the sink. Tried to reach corporate customer service. Paid in cash - no app / account. Since I did not have a receipt, there was nothing they would do. I get it. It is my word vs theirs without any documentation. I did send a photo of the cup sticker with date and time. Nope. Not good enough. Anyway - learn from my stupid mistakes. read more

What a total waste of 25 minutes of my life. 25 minute wait for 2 drinks??? Orders weren't taken care of in the order they came in. Just done at random. I had 3 people come in after I already put my order in and paid. All 3 got their coffee and drinks before me. OH THAT'S RIGHT... I don't have breasts or talk to the employees (clearly you know them from school). Also, why the hell would you make my hot sandwich and give it to me 15 minutes before you even made my coffee??? All 8 of the employees working there have no idea what they are doing. Just taking care of random things and orders in no particular order. i love starbucks and i absolutely hate leaving bad reviews but everyone else that gave this location a review is sadly correct. i always figured that using the app and ordering my drink ahead of time (and usually at home) would guarantee that it would be done by the time it took to get there (about ten minutes with traffic) but it never is. i would order a simple drink like a refresher before i went to see my therapist (which is legitimately a three minute drive from this starbucks) and would end up being late because i had to wait inside for them to make my order :( i've worked in food service so i know how stressful the job can be but majority of the time the baristas are just joking around with each other. i consider myself a patient person, but having to wait inside for fifteen minutes on top of the ten minutes it took to drive there, is just a little excessive to me. sometimes my drink would be done before my food and i'd have to wait for a few minutes longer before reminding someone of my food and would still wait another five minutes for them to warm up my croissant :( prior to covid, i loved coming here to do my homework because then i wasn't in a hurry to get my drink but would not recommend otherwise. read more

Possibly the worst run Starbucks on the planet. Be prepared to wait up to a half hour during the rush, and get a ton of excuses. Avoid if you can. Not sure how other Starbucks in the city and do 4x the volume and keep up, but here is Lockport the gears just seize up. read more

No point in using the mobile app. EVERY SINGLE TIME I use the mobile app and show up 10min later they have no clue about the order. Then you have to explain to them how you ALREADY paid via the app when they make your order and want to charge you again for it. read more

If you like to wait 30 minutes for your mobile order, then this is the place for you. Been here a few times and ordered ahead of time using the mobile app, consistently 20-30 wait for an Americano. There is always a backlog of 20 people waiting as well. Tried the drivethrough instead, same problem. I will say, when I finally get my coffee, it does taste good. We were one of the first customers on opening day and except for when we are out of town, my husband or I have visited almost every day since, sometimes twice in a day. As other reviewers have said, this Starbucks is slow. One barista (which I think- and hope- is gone now) could not figure out my regular order, which was frustrating since my order is simple and I'm obviously there all the time. It seems like every time I go to this Starbucks location the service is the same. The employees don't know what they're doing and the drive through is super slow. As a former employee at Starbucks I know that when you pull up to the speaker box a clock for the employees counts down from one minute and by that time is up is when you should be already paid and leaving with your drinks. Drive through is way faster. The barista who made my coffee twice in December should be flogged for being so SLOW, The drive through barista was seriously 3x as fast if not faster. Pick another profession honey, you suck. Drive through folks are nothing short of awesome, so friendly, fun and sarcastic I LOVE it !!!! Management is solid here as well. I regularly have to come here because of it being the only one close to my house/work, and they consistently are the SLOWEST drive through I have ever experienced... no exaggeration--17-20 minute wait the last 3 times I have come. I have sat and watched them just as I pull up to the window they start my order. Management needs to address the issue.
