Stopped by the Starbucks on Horace Harding in Little Neck this week and was pleasantly surprised. I placed a mobile order that was quoted at 13 minutes and it was ready in about 8. The food was on par with what you'd expect, and the new blended energy refresher was a fun, cooling treat. But what's really changed is the space itself. They've remodeled. Gone are the bench seats and workstations; instead, there are leather couches, softer chairs around tables, and more communal seating. It feels less like a laptop lab and more like a neighborhood coffee shop again. If you're looking to linger with a friend or just chill with a drink, it's a big improvement. I'd give it 4 stars. It's still Starbucks, but this new layout actually makes me want to stick around. read more

On November 6th, I went to this Starbucks location to see if they had any items from the Hello Kitty x Starbucks merch collection, but they did not. I came back another day and saw they had the Seasonal Enamel Pin Set and Reusable Hot Cup Lid Stopper so I got those. Previously, I've purchased the Starbucks New York City Statue of Liberty Canvas Tote Bag from here as well. Staff are always friendly and the queue is not long for drinks. Quick stop in Littleneck to grab a chai latte and spinach egg white feta wrap. This location's space is laid out well. Spacious, comfortable seating. Additionally, any one can utilize their bathroom with no code needed. I don't know if every Starbucks has transitioned to a "free" bathroom but it is comforting to know that it is accessible. My Chai latte was delicious and the egg wrap was hearty. It's nice to be asked if I wanted my latte in a paper cup or glass. The service was courteous and professional. Walked into this SB after driving for 3hours, my daughter ordered my drink while I needed to use the Bathroom. I was about to walk in and it was disgusting full of - all over the place - just plain nasty! I told the guy that it was dirty and if I can use the other bathroom with the keypad, can I please have the code- "no, the one for customers is open" , I said "but it's dirty , I want to use the other one " (labeled bathroom)...he rolled his eyes "the open one is for costumers". They have a Clover machine so you pick your brew and that also means their decaf is ALWAYS available. Clean bathroom here that does not (so far) require a code. Updating my review... Shorted the amount in my coffee (ordered a tall latte) and judging from the looks of it, they only filled up 7-8 of the 12 oz. I also had a short cup next to it for comparison and it was glaringly obvious. I also was hoping to redeem my star reward for a salad bowl. Of the 3 salad bowls they had, 2 of them had the best by date as today, and the 1 bowl that had a sell-by date of tomorrow. All of them had veggies that were wrinkled and dried up inside. Also, half of the peppers and lettuce leaves were sticking out of the lid. Even if it's not assembled on site, might I suggest they take stock of their inventory intermittently, and pull off the shelves anything that they wouldn't want to buy or eat. One of the less friendly Starbucks I've been to. Went in around 8am on a Wednesday. Wasn't too busy but there were a good amount of people sitting at tables. The person taking my order was not very friendly. It seemed as if I was inconveniencing her by ordering (I ordered an unsweetened ice passion tea - doesn't get. UCB simpler than that). My drink did come out very quick which is always nice. The temperature felt like the arctic. I was freezing. And their bathroom, while it looked clean, it smelt terrible. This is the second time I've been here this month and they messed up an order. They very deceptively decided to not tell me the syrup for my drink was out of stock and just made a plain latte. As I was leaving, I heard the barista remark to a cashier that he didn't realize they had none of the cascara latte syrup left. Best part: this was a drink for my boss. Good thing I just bought a second cascara latte at another Starbucks and drank the plain, VERY BURNT one myself. Today, I called three times before coming to see if they had this unicorn drink for my little sister, and no one answered. I figured they would call me if I ordered via the app, so I did just that. I waited a few minutes before driving so they could review it and let me know if it wasn't available. Nothing. So I called and no answer again. I feel like Starbucks sort of speaks for itself everybody loves Starbucks but we all know that it's the employees that make the place an experience ...I have frequented this is Starbucks For many many years and although I've never written a review for them in the past they would have gotten five stars 100% but I have to say since I've become less frequent visitor and the employees have changed over from the past which is obviously to be expected, i've noticed a complete change in welcome this friendliness and prompt service. I went in at 8:30 AM there were two people online before me I ordered a breakfast item that normally takes approximately two minutes to cook maybe less than five minutes to get it if they're busy . And I ordered a drink I got my drink almost immediately and I stood there and waited for my breakfast item. After about 10 minutes of waiting And watching people come and go several of them,I went back to the guy I placed the order with and said I think they may have forgotten my item.... And he said "well we're very busy we have mobile orders do you want a refund " (with an attitude) ... ( and I completely understand that but remember there was only Two people in there when I got there, In about three minutes prior to my asking where my breakfast item was another customer got refunded and left because he was waiting for such a long time) another 5 min past and I finally got my item. Don't get me wrong I love Starbucks and this particular location I also like very much but I believe that sometimes people lose focus on customer service when they're in the customer service industry and I think that might be the case here .... I have come here many, many times and I love the staff. Seems like.corporate is changing the electrical outlets to wireless chargers. I know a lot of people camp out at Starzucks for like ten hours just getting coffee refills, but my regular routine is dropping $20-$25 if I am going to be staying from morning till lunchtime. The battery on my laptop only lasts an hour, so reducing the number of electrical outlets to just a couple is equivalent to telling most people not to come back. I really like this Starbucks. Spacious, plenty of seats. I used to do a lot of school work at this location. Everybody that works here is friendly. Parking is a different story. The lot gets very packed, lots of old people that can't see. I recommend parking on a residential street, the block closest to the starbucks. read more

This is the best Starbucks location to study at. There's a private parking lot so you don't have to worry about finding parking. There's plenty of seating inside, but it does tend to get crowded during rush hour and also at around 3pm so don't be surprised if you have to wait to find an empty table. They tend to play the music really loud sometimes so if that bothers you, I don't recommend coming here. The staff are always super friendly and quick with the orders so even on a busy day, I never waited more than five minutes for my drink. read more

My car pool buddy and I stop at this Starbucks two to three times a week around 6:50/7:00 in the morning before work. There is little to no wait time and the staff is always friendly. They always greet us upon walking in, offer us any new drinks they may be serving and have even started me up with a rewards card. Growing up, I always went to my local Starbucks which was only a few blocks away. However, I would much rather hop on the LIE and drive an additional 10 minutes and go to this Starbucks location.
