This is a nice Starbucks location, the store feels fresh and modern, like it has been refurbished of late, located inside the Armazéns do Chiado mall.
I was reasonably impressed with Starbucks in Portugal as a whole, while US/UK Starbucks cards are not accepted, it does appear to be well run and has the same board menu for drinks as you'd expect to find in any Starbucks in the EMEA region. Pricing was also quite good and worked out slightly cheaper than what I'd expect to pay back home in the UK for drinks.
As mentioned earlier, the store is very comfortable and attractive, it's spacious, attractive and with lots of comfortable seating, unlike many other Starbucks locations in Portugal which is remarkable for a mall location.
I ordered a Toffee Nut Cream Cold Brew from the Christmas menu, I wasn't too pleased with my drink overall, the coffee tasted bitter and it felt like they had forgotten to sweeten the cold brew, and just added the cream, which tasted fine, and was made at the right thickness but again could have done with more toffee nut flavouring too.
The staff seemed friendly enough and tried their best despite the language barrier.
3* - One of my favourite Starbucks in Lisbon in terms of the look/feel of the store, but the beverages could be much better. read more
