Starbucks - 121 & I-35 (Lewisville) I stopped by here for few hours to get some work done. Overall, it was a good experience. One thing that I would have to say they seriously need to consider addressing. This café is located on the corner lot, near Costco, off highway 121 and I-35. COMPLIMENTARY REFILLS: I came in here to get my drink and set down to work for few hours. As you know, while you stay in one of Starbucks cafés, you get complimentary refills of hot and cold coffee or tea. WASH YOUR HANDS: After an hour of working here, I went back to get a complimentary refill and asked to get it in a For-Here Mug. The guy that was getting my refill, was in the middle of mopping the floor where they work. He put down the mop, and proceeded to grab a mug and pour my drink. He didn't wash his hands, at all. Now, for me it wasn't a big deal. I drank from the mug and didn't address it. This should be common sense to wash your hands after mopping the floor, or handling cleaning chemicals. Especially in direct consumer environments. I didn't mind it, but I'm sure others will. If a health inspector came in as a secret shopper, they might give them a low rating. Worst yet, shut the store down till this issue is permanently corrected. ATMOSPHERE: The atmosphere itself stayed clean. The space is somewhat reasonably sized for seating. You have three tables and six chairs by the Order and Pick-Up Counters. You will also find a large bench seating with additional chairs and tables to the right of the entrance. A large round table with three chairs is available by the restrooms, on the corner. Restrooms were clean and spacious to accommodate people with wheelchairs. WiFi worked great without any issues. OVERALL: Overall, when I visit DFW area, I wouldn't mind coming back here. Baristas did a good job. The only other thing I noticed. There was no synergy. Baristas worked fine but they didn't seem like they knew each other well. I've visited few hundred locations worldwide and many other locations baristas seemed to have a much better synergy amongst each other, than here. read more

My wife & I came 20 mins before closing; the staff greeted us & the cashier patiently waited for us to order. The place was empty, as the staff prepared to close. The store is clean & organized. Restrooms are clean & thoroughly cleaned. The display is sanitary & organized. Overall, I just recently learned of this hidden away store around the Costco parking lot. The store appeared recently updated & furniture looked fairly new. My wife & I enjoyed sitting in for a few & I took numerous pics of the store & its new furniture & decor. My son and I come here often and there must be a new wave of associates because until recently I wouldn't have been able to give five stars. Service was quick and efficient. The associate taking orders was knowledgeable and did a great job of wrapping up the ordering process. The associate who was the cashier was friendly and whoever made our drinks did an excellent job! We stopped in because my daughter needed to go to the potty on her way to her grandpas house (and let's be honest, mama needed a coffee!), and the staff was phenomenal! The store was set up for optimum safety during covid, the staff was beyond friendly, and they were quick and fast! The sweetest woman who called herself "LaLa" was so sweet to my little one and even gifted her a little treat! This is the customer service others should work to emulate! So when I came to this Starbucks, I recently had become a non-plebeian "gold status". These folks were nice enough to educate my peasant self and tell me how to utilize all the benefits of being a gold status. They were patient enough to explain how to get refills (which apparently you got a plebeian "green level" status). Clearly I don't know what the heck I'm doing at Starbucks but anyway. The place is nice and the parking is fine, but if you come right around noon on Sunday the parking situation might get difficult because all the people are going to steak and shake for post church lunch. The only reason we didn't hit 5 stars with these folks was because we saw multiple tables that hadn't been cleaned off. Otherwise the folks here are really nice and they greeted me as soon as I came in. Overall, good experience. No hate here. read more

The only thing saving me from giving this Starbucks a one star review is the week day crew. They make my drinks perfect EVERY TIME.... But the weekend crew is horrible. Every weekend without a fault they don't give me the extra shots I pay for!! Today the barista had the audacity to tell me "it's just extra coconut milk".. if I wanted extra coconut milk I wouldn't have ordered an extra shot of espresso... safe to say I'm drinking coconut milk with a hint of espresso. This place was nice courteous everyday I came. Til one day I returned my drink because it didn't taste the way I ordered it. Next thing you know I had every staff member hanging their head out of the drive thru window trying to see what's going to happen. This location has given me my drink --- three times -- without expresso in my drink. This morning I went into explain that I paid $5 for hot milk the other morning, and the barista told me that's what I ordered. After further explaining that I know it was missing was because the grande cup was half full with milk foam, she said she'd need a receipt. Since I paid with the app, it only shows the money I spent. She only apologized by saying that she wasn't working that morning. Seriously? Perhaps I'm having caffeine withdrawals, but I spend a good amount at Starbucks. I'm over it though. Stopped by this morning with the wife on the way out to go house hunting. Now...the wife is lactose intolerant which means we have to be very specific about swapping soy for milk, otherwise the rest of the day doesn't go well, and with us being from out of town and out and about looking for a place to live, we couldn't bank on finding a place to stop if things got ugly. So I placed the order, and then double checked again to make sure it was with soy. The cup was handed to me, the label said soy. My receipt says I was charged to sub in soy. The lady at the window rolled her eyes at me when I asked if we could split charges and get a glass of water as well, which as someone in customer service I would ream one of my employees who did that. Anyways, I pay, we drive off, and takes a sip and says that she doesn't think it tastes right. We are late to meet with the realtor, so there's no time to stop and go back to ask them to fix it again. Sure enough, halfway down to Dallas her stomach pains start and she was not pleased, and needless to say neither was I. I get it, things get busy, but little mistakes like that can have pretty nasty consequences on someone's day. Thankfully she's a trooper and we carried on, but it was definitely touch and go for a bit. Kinda sad, I think we'll stick to the coffee in the hotel room for the rest of the trip. read more

Very hit or miss. Coffee good, but not always the right order. Had to return 2 of my drinks, because they were wrong, nothing fancy (gave me a coffee instead of hot chocolate etc) And last time I came in, people in front of me had the same problem. Drive thru is a plus, but can be a troublesome if you are waiting for 25-30, and can't leave. Definitely need more people to work, poor employees are worked to the MAX and drinks take forever sometimes. read more

Literally the worst Starbucks in America. From the service to the inventory, just go ahead over to the Starbucks with NO DRIVE THRU. Amazingly the Starbucks with a drive thru moves slower than the one without and the employees act like it's your fault they're out of basic ingredients literally every time I make the mistake of stopping here.
