This Starbucks is located close to the airport. You'll find them at Harry Reid Marketplace on Eastern and Russell. There's good parking. Inside is a casual space with sufficient seating and music is not too loud. I noticed that the tables need a little bit of upkeeping. Menu offers a nice selection of coffeehouse classics, Starbucks favorites, tea lattes, and Frappuccino blends. They have all-day breakfast items such as wraps, light bites, savory snacks, bagels, and pastries. I love their Venti Matcha Latte ($5.65), it's not too sweet and delicious! Served hot in a big coffee mug with coconut milk, one classic pump, no foam, so good! Now that it's officially summer, my favorite go-to is Venti Iced Matcha Latte ($5.95) which is super refreshing! It's light, not too sweet, and so yummy! Venti Iced Coffee ($4.75) is also good and flavor is strong. For a sweet treat, Iced Lemon Loaf ($4.45) is pretty good! I asked if they have fresh ones available, because they usually sell out fast. I was told there was two left and I request for to-go. Tasha is so kind to leave the packaging intact, that way the cake stays moist. Service from Tasha, Alex, and Bella is welcoming, courteous, and friendly. I'm really unsure why this Starbucks has bad reviews. Right when I walked in I was automatically greeted by Natalie. What a gem she is. Not only was she kind but she was also patient, because I did not know what drink I wanted and she helped me find my perfect one; iced matcha, oak milk, light ice with 1 pump of pumpkin spice and pumpkin spice topping. :P She also kept the area cleaned by checking the floors, tables and went to even clean the bathroom. Stopped in for a quick coffee intake. This place is located in a newer strip mall kind of location. Parking is awkward due to the drive-thru lines. There's seating outside as well as inside. Unfortunately, outside is a bit trashed up. Between the birds and the homeless that frequent this place, you'll find food wrappers and trash on the ground. Indoors, there's plenty of seating, a small area of items for purchase, and the food displays (.outlying full this morning). Service was fast, and friendly. Walked in about 11:30am on a Saturday. Usually service ok here. This morning There were 4 people behind the counter, including one sweeping, and I was first of 4 customers in line. But nobody came over to take our orders for 60-90 secs. I looked at the lady at the drivethru and gave her the "what gives" sign, but she turned away. Finally my order was taken. OK, no real harm, not enuff to post a review. But I'd ordered a blended cold matcha drink but when it came there was not much liquid coming thru my straw. I took 3 or 4 sips of liquid and then took the top off the drink, and nope, not blended, and not much liquid in there either. I went back to the counter and told the barista making drinks about their error but she said- sorry, you drank some, we can't make you another. I kept complaining so she went to the young woman who'd taken my order- but that girl was persuaded by the barista not to give me a new drink. So why go to her? Really suckie service, more interested in arguing than making it right. They were dug in arguing like making me the right drink to correct their error would come out of their pockets. Sad to say. I've worked in the customer service industry for over 7 years and it's sad to not be treated with any respect or acknowledgement. Pretty sure the workers have no motivation I can see it in body language. Hurts to say I don't see any enthusiasm for any greetings. Team work has no communication and I will give them a blessing on giving a 1 star but simply because all the tables and chairs are dirty. The Eastern at Russell Starbuck's is one of the local coffee shops that I call home during some me time after a hard day's work. After hours working my fingers to the bone, I enjoy getting on the Starbuck's WiFi where I connect with the world over a Starbuck's beverage. My Starbuck's beverage of choice is the cup of drip coffee sweetened with pumpkin spice syrup. The dilemma is that Starbuck's only offers it from mid September til Christmas or when it runs out. Once the pumpkin spice runs out, I revert to my second Starbuck's beverage of choice: the cafe Americana. One of the coffee shops that I call home after work is busy. It is located by the busy crossroads of Eastern at Russell in the shadow of McCarren International Airport, McCarren Marketplace, homes, and commercial buildings. Nearly every time I go here there is a lengthy cue of cars leading to the drive thru. The cue is often so long that I have to carefully maneuver between cars stopped for the line. Additionally the cues are so long that I park at the side of the building to avoid the possibility of a fender bender. The body atmosphere carries over from the drive thru to inside where there is ordinarily a line with few vacant tables. Waiting on line could be enjoyable. During the Christmas season, as I wait my turn, I enjoy taking in the presentation of Christmas cookies and pastries. By the way, Starbuck's now sells a gingerbread Starbuck's store. When I get to the front of the line, there is usually a pleasant batista that exchanges my money for a Starbuck's beverage. After the latest price increase I am often exchanging $2.76 with a tall (in Starbuck's limbo tall equals short) cup of drip coffee with pumpkin spice syrup. After picking up my coffee, I head to the table toward the back near the portraits of an old McCarren Airport. If my table of choice is occupied, I will sit at one of the tables by another portrait of an old McCarren International Airport in the main part of the cafe. Where I don't end up sitting is on a comfortable couch. What is missing from this Starbuck's is a presence of couches and plush seats. The best part of waking up after work is Starbuck's in my cup. As long as I work nearby, my return visits to the Eastern at Russell Starbuck's are guaranteed. read more

Not just now for the past six years I've been coming here I've seen the staff fluctuate but I've never had a bad experience. The current staff that I absolutely love at this location that I've seen a day since they started is Allie & cinnamon. Yes I know cinnamon sounds like in stripper name but she's from some little state somewhere that we forget about so I think she might be too nice to have been a stripper before And Allie is just perky as hell, lol always excited and happy if she hated her job you've never be able to tell so it's safe to assume she loves it there. Normally a great Starbucks on the Southeast side of town, today they really let me down. Ordered from the app and went to the drive thru to pickup the drink. Everything looked fine and I had to get back to work so I drove home. Took one sip of the drink and it tasted like Peppermint which wasn't even in the order for this drink. Worse, I couldn't even turn around to have it remade because I didn't have time and the lines were extremely long. I waited all week to have enough time to get a great coffee drink and was really excited for this drink today too, instead I got one that left a cough syrup after taste in my mouth so bad I wanted to throw up. The coffee of the day is usually Pike at all locations. I requested half & half with a couple sugars. The friendly window person asked if I wanted the milk hot or cold. After handing it to me he asked if I wanted a "stopper". I did take one but in hind sight the 1/2 and 1/2 cooled it down so much I didn't really need it even though it was filled to the top. I asked if they had a paper menu, I didn't want to hold up the line looking at the menu board. He said "no, but they have them in Japan, but that's too far away". That's when I knew he was a rascal.
