Stopped by the Starbucks in Largo and it ended up being one of those easy, feel good stops that just hits right. From the moment we walked in, the staff was genuinely friendly not rushed or robotic, but actually welcoming and attentive. They took the time to make sure our order was right, and you could tell they cared about the customer experience. My daughter was the real judge of the visit, and it passed with flying colors. She loved her drink and especially the cake pop, which pretty much made her whole day. Seeing her that happy instantly makes it a five star stop for me. Everything came out quickly, looked great, and tasted exactly how you'd hope. The place itself had a relaxed, clean vibe perfect for just hanging out for a few minutes and enjoying your order without feeling rushed out the door. It's the kind of location you can count on whether you're grabbing something quick or sitting down for a bit. I usually love trying new things at Starbucks. Today I went to this Largo location and ordered the NEW frozen pineapple passion fruit. By the time I got to the window my drink was half frozen half liquid. The lady that took my order seemed to be speaking quiet loudly today, and the young lady that took my payment didn't seem to mind that half of my drink was already watered down. I've worked in the fast food industry for 4 years and the one thing I trained new employees to do was to wait until the guest was at the window to blend their drink up. I have a mixed review with my neighborhood Starbucks. The morning crew is relatively great. But the afternoon/evening crew is something else! They are loud and disruptive. Every visit, something is wrong. Like today 9-7-12, they are out of the lime nor the hibiscus refresher. How could they let that happen? Shouldn't someone anticipate these things? The other day i ordered a coffee that i never got and after i followed up the order, there were no apologies offered to me when it was clearly their fault. Somehow I feel like they need a refresher on good customer service. The place is not clean at all times unlike other Starbucks places I've been to and I've been to a lot all over the country. I'm sad because I live nearby and I might have to hang out to further down the road and come back when things are better in this place. I wonder if Starbucks managers read reviews to listen or look into some of the complaints put in here. read more

Slowest Starbucks I've ever been to. There was one person ahead of me and maybe 3 or 4 after me. All I ordered was a cold brew and somehow I was in there for 15 minutes. I understand that the drive thru might be busy but there were at least 5 of them behind the counter. Baristas were slow moving and not very efficient. It didn't seem like anyone had a certain station, they were all over the place. I also tried to do the "order ahead" option the following day and for some reason, the app said this location wasn't taking those orders. read more

If I can leave zero stars I would. I did a mobile order and got there at the time stated in the app and of course like always, it wasn't done yet. But then I see my cup off to the side by other mobile orders that were done. But mine wasn't done. Nobody said hi to me or asked my name, they just continued to do in store, drive up, and mobile orders currently coming out of the machine while my little lonely cup sat empty to the side. I said, this is my mobile order that's empty over here and the girl says, tell Chloe when she gets back. The usual, not my job mentality. So Chloe comes back and I say this is my mobile order and she grabs the cup without saying anything and starts making it. Now the attitude she was serving up wasn't cool. I spend more money on Starbucks than I should BUT the reason I choose Starbucks over other coffee chains is for quality and consistency. I have been to locations everywhere and on rare occasions I'll get a barista that's not a little rude but the quality is never an issue. This particular location was something i never experienced before. I went through the drive through and when I pulled up to the window it smelled terrible, like a restaurant that hadn't been cleaned. I ordered my drink (it was fine) and a sandwich. When I got back to work my sandwich looked like a toddler assembled it and then kicked it around but i disregarded it thinking maybe they were in a rush. I ended up getting sick from eating there. This location is at busy intersection so it's a pain to leave. You cannot make a left turn. The parking lot is tight. Typically you cannot exit the parking lot onto starkey/Keene because the drive thru is backed up. I prefer to preorder on the app and pick up inside. The baristas are always friendly and nice. Last week I jumped in line at the drive they because I was feeling lazy. I sat there for 5 mins and the line never moved so I backed up and left. Definitely one of the bigger Starbucks locations in the area. There's a lot of open space and plenty of tables for meeting up with friends or getting work done. The back of the store does get a little dark though but there's tons of light towards the front. The location is very well staffed and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, even given how busy they are. The drive-thru seems especially busy at this location. Parking is also plentiful should you decide to stop inside. Bathrooms are clean and the air is cool. I haven't had any problems with any of the drinks I've had here but then again I just drink black iced coffee or cold brew which is kind of hard to mess up. How do you forget one person's drink when you have only one person ordering? Starbucks needs to check with this staff. If these baristas keep this pattern they will be called out on it. I have visited so many Starbucks and never once I've heard someone forgot a (the only ordering) customer's drink. I go to the Starbucks on Eastbay everyday and work online. I have only one person I don't really like and that is only because she is unfriendly. The rest of the crew and management are friendly and helpful. When the virus closed the dinning room to me it's like missing my family and can't wait until I can sit and say hi to them again. Since the addition on the space next door, this Starbucks is the largest I've been to outside of NYC. It's so spacious, bright and clean inside. I love the 2 long high communal tables and tons of electric outlets placed under them. The only complaint I have, which is the same for all Starbucks, is the temperature. It's FREEZING in there. It might actually be colder at this location than most. Recently I was there for 2 hrs, even with a cardigan on, I left a popsicle. I'm not kidding. Why 4 stars and not 5? A couple of employees could be more cheerful and sociable. They actually look like they don't enjoy working, period. The whole time I was never, I never saw either of them smiled once. Maybe I shouldn't be too critical as long as my drinks are done right. The parking lot is still small since this Starbucks is in a tiny plaza. There's no changing this since there's no room to expand around this plaza. I usually park in the back in case people scratch or hit my car when they try to squeeze into the small spaces. When I arrived 15 minutes AFTER the time I was due to pick up, there were at least six people at the countertop moving around in confusion and two people right in front of me moving super slow and chatting. Finally I said, "I'm here to pick up my traveler, I believe that's it behind you? I already paid for it".
