Leanna and team are delightful and made the kids and the whole family feel welcome. Food and nitro coffee was perfectly executed. I was very disappointed with my experience at this Starbucks in Lake Delton. From the moment we walked in, no one greeted us. When we ordered at the counter, the man taking our order was rude and made us feel rushed instead of welcomed. Our order was simple: * Venti iced white mocha with sweet cream cold foam * Venti iced white mocha with peppermint * One can of Poppi, and I specifically asked for a cup of ice. The problems started immediately. I gave my name as Ashley, and even scanned my Starbucks app, which clearly shows my name as Ashley, yet they called out "Ash." While not a huge issue on its own, it added to the overall lack of attention to detail. The biggest issue was that both drinks were made hot instead of iced. When I told the barista that we had ordered iced drinks, her response was, "That doesn't say iced on the receipt," instead of apologizing or trying to understand what happened. I had placed my order directly at the counter, so the order was entered incorrectly. Finally, instead of the cup of ice I requested for my Poppi, I was given a cup of ice water. I understand that mistakes happen, especially during busy times. What was most disappointing was the lack of friendliness and the dismissive response when the mistakes were pointed out. As a Starbucks Gold member who visits Starbucks frequently and spends a significant amount there, I expect the same level of friendly customer service and care that I've come to appreciate at most other Starbucks locations. I had a $3 drink coupon on my Starbucks app. I ordered through the drive thru but when I went to pay the barista said the coupon wasn't working. He said I would have to pay full price but that I could contact support and tell them what happened and they should refund me. At that point they had already made my drink otherwise I wouldn't have purchased it at all, especially at 2x the price I should have. He gave me a receipt for my $8.27 drink when I called support they said they were not seeing the coupon on my account. When I stated the barista saw it and even looked at it on my phone and that it was still showing they told me to call the store. When I called the store they told me I would have to come back in for a refund but that they were closing early for Christmas Eve so I wasn't even able to turn around and drive back for my refund read more

Initial reaction: good old Starbucks! Upon entering, I thought it looked clean, open and the staff seemed friendly enough. I didn't have any interaction with the staff since I made a mobile order ahead of time. We sat closer to the door, and wanted to stretch out and enjoy a drink and some food before continuing to drive on our journey. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. The food tasted fine, and coffee, Starbucks standard. The problem was that as we were sitting there, I kept noticing flies... and more flies... and more flies. There were so many of them flying around that it was very uncomfortable to enjoy my food. I had the egg bites, but had to keep them inside the bag and closed between bites because the flies kept coming over for a taste. And these were the big fat flies, not the little tiny ones. So I know flies can get inside. I get it. I get them in my house too. But I try different things to get rid of them, because even one gets on my nerves. I've never been to a Starbucks in any other location that made my stay uncomfortable because of flies, even in tropical Hawaii or Thailand. Since we were sitting closer to the door, I thought maybe the flies were all concentrated there? (there weren't any in the bathroom) I did mention to the staff that it looks like there is a fly infestation problem, and one of the girls said "yea" and then laughed. And another girl said, "yea, we know." Sooo, are you doing anything about it? Since the store doesn't seem to be proactively doing anything about this problem, I'm worried that there is a sanitation problem here and would ward off weary travelers. read more

Traveling through the area we needed to get some coffee and something to eat. We got 2 Pikes venti coffees, an impossible breakfast sandwich and a bacon and Gouda sandwich. The coffee was great Starbucks coffee as always. The impossible sandwich was very possibly the best Starbucks veggie sandwich I've had! It hit the spot. This is the WORST Starbucks I have ever visited the staff is out right unhelpful and practically useless they put 75% ice and only 25% drink they messed up the simplest orders and made drinks very bland or not sweat they forgot to give straws for my refresher and forgot the vanilla sweat cream cold foam. I never read reviews of Starbucks - I'm there all of the time, I know what to order and what to expect but when this Starbucks popped up with a 1 1/2 star rating I had to read the reviews. I almost didn't stop in after reading them but I am sure glad I did. The location is adorable first of all. Made to look like a log cabin in the Dells. Second the order taker was extremely friendly. My order was accurate and the cashier was also very friendly. They upsold me on a "been there" mug to add to my collection. I had to give them a five star review and I encourage you to do the same. Went into Starbucks this morning. Was greeted at the door and asked to leave. Was told they only take mobile orders and drive-through orders, which is highly acceptable in Covid circumstances. I noticed a few people standing in the store waiting for their mobile orders. I walked out of the store placed a mobile order and immediately walked back in. Waited 10 minutes for my order. Multiple people came in behind me to collect their mobile order. Same person who asked me to leave waited on everybody else, getting them their mobile orders before mine, regardless of the fact that they came in after me. I just waited a half hour in the drive thru line for a mobile order because there is a sign outside the front door that says "Drive thru only". The drive thru line was pretty long, but since we already ordered, we stuck it out. I had ordered a hot coffee, so when we finally got to the front, I asked when it was poured because I thought we had waited so long, it might not be hot anymore. The woman at the window said the coffee was poured when it was ordered. I told her that was a half hour ago, and we had been waiting in the drive thru line to pick it up. She got snarky with me and told me I should have come inside. I pointed out that the sign out front said "drive thru only" and we were honoring what the sign said. She was pretty unprofessional. Yes, this is a 5 star review for a Starbucks. Let me explain. When you are in gigantor-resort land without any food or beverage options for days, this Starbucks is an oasis with free wi-fi. It is a nice and clean establishment ( maybe because it was a Tuesday morning in off-season or maybe it was just clean). Great location near shopping, hotels, kid activities, and major roads. My friends and I came for coffee in the morning before we broke off from our girl's outing. We sat there for over two hours and we were not pressed to move on. I was extremely disappointed with the time it took to pick up my order. I placed my mobile order at 10:01am with an estimated preparation time of 9 minutes. I waited inside the Starbucks for an additional 12 minutes before anyone asked "does anyone have a mobile order" and lo and behold my drink had been sitting there for who knows how long. Ordering my drinks and sandwich was friendly. Service was fast for receiving my drinks but for some reason they forgot my sandwich. When I got my drinks I mentioned that I was waiting for a sandwich. I haven't had reason to review a Starbucks before (normally I try to go to local/independent coffee shops, but I'm not anti-Starbucks. This is the 3rd straight Starbucks I've been to (last 2 in Chicago) where the table was very dirty, so I had to clean the table myself. Actually asked for a rag once and the employee was nice and said she would take care of it. But It's pretty poor that somebody has to ask them to clean. Other tables were dirty as well. Back to this locations: lots of employees, very slow service. I killed a couple of flies, but there were still more buzzing by from time to time. Flies?? I have never reviewed a Starbucks before, but this one is getting a lot of hate and I'm not sure why. It's a totally normal Starbucks with a lot of open space, tons of places to charge your laptop, comfortable seating, and the drinks I've ordered have been fine/good. The only complaint I have is that there were a lot of flies when I was here last, but that says more about the messy customers who leave crumbs and sticky remnants of drinks behind.
