The restaurant itself is cute as a button with the black and white checked flooring and cutsie decor. The front windows roll up to make for lovely open air dining on pleasant days. It's an order at the counter and they'll bring your food to you sort of set up. For my first breakfast here, I got their oatmeal which was fantastic. It was a hearty serving of oatmeal and had chia seeds, cinnamon, blueberries, strawberries, and banana on top. All the fruit was fresh, making for a wonderfully delicious breakfast. The coffee is also solid (though I can't recall what I ordered) and the service is friendly. Get to it! read more

Very cute place. Pretty good food. But given how busy the rush is here, there needs to be more staff on floor at a time. When we stopped in, there were 2 staff, one working the coffee bar and the other on the ice cream, who were running around, serving food, making drinks, and constantly busy. It left us waiting to be serviced for around 10 minutes and when our food arrived, it was cold (likely from waiting for a server/coffee bartender to find a break to retrieve it). I ordered the french toast, which was good, cold but good, and a coffee, which I was okay with. My partner ordered the pork bowl, which arrived cold aside from the eggs in it. The prices here are reasonable, especially for the Dells, but I think Huckleberry's would be smart to have a few more hands on deck to ensure timely service. read more

Adorable restaurant serving brunch, sweets, and lots of treats! Lots of seating and great lighting. They are able to open the front to let the sunshine in. Order at the cashier and then you take a number to your table of choosing. They bring a large container of water and food right to the table. Lots of options for brunch including sandwiches, pancakes, pastries, and omelets. We had omelets, which were delicious and full of the chosen fillings. Also served with two slices of toast! We ordered two chocolate milkshakes, and the consistency between them was completely different -- one was so thick it seemed like they forgot the milk, while the other was normal. The food here is delicious. Best breakfast/brunch spot I have found in The Dells. The coffee is solid, not the best but good. Staff was super friendly and evrything was super clean. They also have ice cream. Didn't have any as I was here for brunch but it looked great! I will be back to try the desserts they offer! read more

From the exterior the place is welcoming, and the interior is cozy and adorable. It's currently decorated for the holidays which just adds to the charm, they did a great job. I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. The place was clean and organized and spacious. There was one side for food customers and other side for light snackers. i went for a 2 scoop - hucklberry and butter pecan. Both were really good flavor. The interior of this cafe is adorable. Feels like a classic icecream parlor with a modern twist. High ceilings, beautiful paint, stools, a large display case with sweet treats and a lot more. They have coffee, mimosas, lemonades, sodas and beer. They also have icecream for the afternoon or a sweet treat like warm coffee cake for the morning. This is a cute ice cream shop/bakery. They have two cooler of ice cream and some cookies and other baked goods and candy. They have tons of toppings available for the ice cream like snickers, peanuts, fudge, gummy bears, M&Ms, and caramel. They also offer cones, cups, banana splits and sundaes. The shop is located in the heart of the Dell's touristy area and has metered street parking available out front within a reasonable walking distance. The shop is very clean and they have a decent sized dining area with table and chairs, booths, and bar seating. There is also patio eating available on the sidewalk out front of the shop. They have classic/oldie music playing in the dining area. The staff there is very friendly and helpful they let you sample the ice cream before you buy it. I will admit, that it is a bit pricey, but hey, you are in a tourist area. I got two scoops of the butter pecan with Butterfinger on top. It was good, but it was not the best that I have had. It was slightly freezer burned and had small ice crystals in it. This is a nice new ice cream shop and I see it doing well. It is located right next door to the MAC restaurant and they even share an adjoining door. This place will definitely satisfy you sweet craving and you should check it out while doing the touristy thing in the Dells. read more

The staff was very friendly and answered my questions! They had so many flavors to choose from ranging from caramel pecan to mint chocolate chip! I wanted to taste them all! They've really nailed the old school ice cream parlor look and feel here, from the mosaic tile floor to the uniforms - it's delightful. And everyone on staff is cheerful and eager to serve. They have a good assortment of flavors but I couldn't bring myself to get anything other than their namesake: huckleberry! And it was the right choice... delicious! Outdoor store sign caught my attention from across the street and drew us in. So glad we stopped in. We'll be back the next time we are in Wisconsin Dells. Wisconsin Dells favors candies and fudge over bakeries, so I was excited to find Huckleberry's when looking for a quick pastry in the morning. Their donuts are amazing! I had a vanilla long john with sprinkles, and I didn't want to eat anything else lest I lose the taste of the bakery in my mouth. The next day we went back for ice cream, which was just as delicious. I got the peanut butter cookie ice cream in a waffle cone, and both were just what I was looking for. Someone mentioned their prices, but, c'mon. It's the Dells. They did not seem to know what a malt was and they don't seem to have provided a malt shake like we requested. Each shake took about 10 minutes to make. Disappointing. I was so excited to see a malt shop!! The employee that was making the malt didn't know what a malt was. We waited longer than 30 minutes for 3 chocolate shakes and 1 chocolate malt. Our orders were the only blended orders and they were served all at different times individually. The people that ordered shakes in my order were all done with theirs by the time I got my malt. The process of creating a blended drink was unnecessarily slow. I wouldn't have minded the wait had it been a good tasting malt. The malt that was mixed into the ice cream was not even noticeable.
