Decent beet smoothie; interesting staff.... There was an older woman with short curly gray hair and two younger people working behind the counter. When I first walked in, there were a lot of people just standing around and the staff looked frantic, so I walked out debating whether or not I wanted to wait for the chaos to die down. I came back about 15 minutes later and ordered a beet smoothie. The staff still seemed overwhelmed and not very friendly. Also to note, their smoothies are $8 and mostly contain fruit and syrup. I'd rate this place a zero if I could. The woman taking my order was the most soulless, unfriendly person. I asked for a steak black and bleu wrap. I got it to-go and by the time I was back on the road to eat, I opened up my wrap to find no blue cheese and my wrap cut wrong. It literally says in the description that it has blue cheese crumbles and it's in the name. The steak itself was gross and did not taste like meat at all. Don't recommend this place. Wouldn't even give this to the homeless. Also, the guy in a blue shirt behind the counter was picking his nose. Wasted $20 on this crap. read more

After a serious 8 mile hike we were dead tired and looking for some healthy fuel which led us here to the Green Vine. It's in an inconspicuous place - we would have walked right past it if we hadn't Googled it in advance. The location is phenomenal by the way - right off the main square in downtown Baraboo. This place hit the spot. We loved how you could turn any combination into a salad, wrap or sandwich all of which come with a side of your choice. There's plenty of vegetarian-friendly options and you can modify your order (I asked for no onions, add Mayo and add avocado, which wasn't an issue). Prices are kind of high but we expected that considering we were looking for fresh and healthy eats. While we wished portions were bigger the meal was satisfying. You can also get bubble or fruit teas here and ice cream. They're outside seating options and plenty of indoor tables and chairs among thriving plants throughout the space. Easy lunch meals and great tasting too! My favorite place in Baraboo because of the green smoothies! I like that they have a flexible menu too so I ordered the pineapple smoothie and had them add spinach to it. Most of their smoothies are REAL in that they don't add dairy. We came here on a whim while traveling through Baraboo, looking for a light healthy tasty lunch. This place was perfect. Nestled on the downtown strip, they have seating looking out large bay windows at the quaint park square across the street. Lots of DIY art adorns the walls, with some of it available for purchase. The service was extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is bright and airy. They have lots of tasty sandwich and wrap options in the $7-8 range. And several veggie and gluten free options. The cheddar bacon apple sandwich is a delicious balance of flavors that will please adult and kid palate alike. For something a little brighter in flavor (and vegetarian) try the cran-apple goat cheese on a spinach wrap. To finish out your meal, they have a good assortment of ice cream and smoothie options. Wraps are overpriced for how small they are. Every time I've been in the owner has been short with me and has absolutely zero interest in having good customer service. The only thing I'd go back for is the smoothies. Walked in with 3 other adults and two children for ice cream after visiting the state park. The older woman working answered my wife's question of "can I sample the coconut explosion?" with "uh, no!! I'm the only one here and we're way too busy!" She then repeatedly responded with condescension to all of our party's questions ("how many scoops?! What type of cone?! We have three!!"). I can certainly understand being a little frazzled due to being outnumbered, but there were only about 6 people in line - more a lack of composure than any sort of actual issue. We're from out of town and this was definitely a dim spot in our visit to Wisconsin and the Dells in general. We'll try to avoid coming back - that'll keep the "crowds" at bay. read more

My friends and I came to this establishment over Labor Day weekend. It seemed pretty nice, they serve a lot of different items aside from ice cream, what we actually came for. My friend asked the attendant behind the counter to try a flavor and she was immediately cut off by a curly, gray haired woman behind the counter who said she was too busy. While that was believable and not unreasonable, there was a way to convey this information and there is a way to make your customers feel like they are an inconvenience, she chose the latter of the two. She was rude in other ways, rushing my friend along, she was short with her, etc. I understand she may have been stressed out but it really is not an acceptable way to act toward customers. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars and not 5 were the prices. 9 dollars for a small wrap and a handful of chips and hummus? I come from a lake town area, I'm no stranger to high tourist prices but still. These were a little too high. The small wrap for 9 could have been forgiven if it were full, but even wrapped up it was still a little empty. That's really my only dissatisfaction with this place. They had a nice assortment of vegetarian and meat options. The decor was delightfully eclectic with plants and quirky art pieces everywhere. The lady who took my order was very nice. My peach smoothie was delicious (the banana that comes in it overwhelms the peach but that's okay) and my boyfriend very much enjoyed his ice cream and sandwich. Would nom here again. read more

I'm so disappointed, they charge $7 for mediocre smoothies made with frozen Great Value fruit. I got their bubble tea which was $5 and found out that they just use artificial flavoring for their flavors. And on top of that I had to wait for about 45 minutes just for the drink. I was excited to go here! What a disappointment! All the food is bought at Aldi or Walmart! How do I know? I looked around and I ordered the chicken tenders and they looked like fish sticks and it was spongy, no real meat. She admitted she had bought potato salad at the store and it tasted like it. And to charge $5 bucks for it! 3spongy fish stick shaped chicken tenders and gross potato salad in a little plastic condiment cup! WOW! So glad I didn't order anything more expensive. Reasonably-priced beverages which include iced tea, smoothies (seems to be the most popular), various coffees and fresh fruit drinks. Menu of fresh salads and sandwiches. The Green Vine was not satisfactory whatsoever! I paid $40.00 for my family and I to get some drinks, and we all threw them away, because they tasted TERRIBLE! The Green Vine claims that they are an all natural place, but they just make their items out of store bought cans. It seems like the owners looked up some smoothie recipes online, and took it for their own. The bubble tea also tasted terrible. It was made with flavor syrup, ice, and boba tea balls. I also ordered a strawberry smoothie, and to be honest, it tasted like it had bleach cleaner in it. The service at The Green Vine was also very slow. read more

Went to Devils lake to camp and decided to check out downtown Baraboo. Walked around and met a local girl that recommended it. Amazing menu selection. Build your own wrap or salad for $9. They have coupons for wraps and ice cream in the camping booklet. The lady that was working when I went in was very kind and friendly. I am vegan and she was very patient with me ordering and helped me pick vegan options. Another pro is that there's vegan mayo here ;) read more
