Great customer service and good burger. Culver's has a great drive through system with sticky notes indicating your order number to facilitate swift service. service is terrible, workers are rude. Food is better at the Sauk culvers. The vibe is horrific and the employees are quite frankly scary. The employee continued to well Marco Polo over and over again loud enough for the entire drive through to hear for a good 5 minutes. As a local, it's a tough call rating this Culver's, mostly because the experiences have varied. Culvers has generally tasty baskets and, of course, their prized custard and cheese curds! The regular chocolate and vanilla are rich and tasty, and it's always fun to try their flavor of the day (which you can also look up on their website). The custard is available to purchase in pints if you go in the store, with flavors from the pat 2-3 days available to try. Everyone love the cheese curds, a Wisconsin staple and a must when you come here. The cons? The prices are almost restaurant-high and recently youre rolling the dice on if the burgers will be dry or not. My husband and I generally end up spending $25 for just the two of us. The drive-through has been changed up since covid to allow for longer lines but the two lines haven't made too much of a difference with still the one service window. All in all; it's a nice treat every now and then for their custard or specials but it's getting too expensive to go more than 1-2 times/month for baskets, which is unfortunate. Side notes; lots of parking, plenty of seating indoors/some outdoor and decent service. A lot of the staff are high school age and from what I've been told, the management only hires student who are making appropriate grades which I think is a wonderful motivation and makes for a committed staff. read more

Been going to Culvers since they opened and never got stung. 5stars would be easy to give but I consider myself an expert on ice cream/ soft serve. I've never been all that fond of Culvers ice cream. Just passing through the drive-thru to pick up some smoothies for the family. The line moved slower than the other chains, but I think it's because the menu has more complex options. The drive-thru team was kind, courteous, and friendly. We were greeted when pulling up and when driving away. Generally culvers is good. I ordered 2 fish dinner. With onion ring substitute for fries. And order of onion rings and cheese curds. The onion rings wasn't on the board. I repeated what I ordered. Thought it was cleared up until I got home. Cheese curds were put in with fish and only one order of onion rings. Guess I better check my bag before I leave. read more

If you're looking for the proper Culver's experience, food quality, service, cleanliness; this is your Culver's. I'm staying at Glacier Canyon Resort and the one down the street from our room had already frustrated us on our first visit; the empty drive-thru should have been the give away. The Baraboo location is everything that other location is not. You still have to wait, and maybe longer because they are busy; but the quality was worth it! Keep up the great work. read more

Terrible what's the attraction to this place. My wife and I ordered burgers both burgers were very dry. I also told them exactly what I wanted on our burgers. When I got home they were both plain and super dry. Just awful they ripped off Steak -n- Shake which is terrible now as well. It was great corporate owners ruined it. I ate at the Baraboo Culver's a couple weeks ago. The restaurant was filthy. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned all day. Paper towels and toilet paper on the floor and wet paper towels plugging up the sink. It was awful. I rarely eat at Culver's and when I do I order the cod sandwich. I thought I'd try their single butter burger for a change. It wasn't much better than McDonalds. That being said their frozen custard is very good and I appreciate they have gluten free buns available. I just don't understand the fascination with Culver's. read more

Totally messed up our order! Didn't get anything right. Fish sandwich I ordered extra crispy, came under cooked. Son's burger came with everything on it instead of plain. Fries were okay, although I did find one cold one right in the middle of the bag, that was weird. Sweet tea was empty, soda area was messy. Won't be running right back there to eat. Yuck. read more

An ok spot for lunch with a large menu. Second time at Culver's for me. Had the rueben with a side of green beans the first time and it was good. I was surprised how good the green beans were. Fresh and crisp, not canned mushy crap at other fast food joints. Second time went for a grilled chicken sandwich that was OK with a side of cheese curds that were great. We had a small frozen custard provided to us for free ( not sure why) but it was really good. Will definitely go back for a quick lunch next time I'm in the area. read more

Went there a couple weeks ago and got home to find my burger had only cheese on it even tho it was suppose to have the works, my soda was completely flat and the only reason why I ended up going there was for the cheese curds and they forgot to throw those in there too! I called and the person said oh our bad, we'll send you a coupon through the mail for the curds and 3 weeks later still nothing. What a horrible experience. read more

Great food such great Burgers and fish too Service is always wonderful and friendly every time I go Their Concrete Mixers are Real good and highly customizable highly recommended They're open late which is great for people like me who are Night owls Their music Selection is pretty good considering how I'm pretty particular when it comes to Music the seats are comfortable and I have never had bad food from Culver's Which is why Culver's is in my opinion sure to please The only reason why I gave it Four Stars over Five is I wish Their Soda selection was larger Especially since Coke products seem to Be a Favorite of any one I know read more

swung through here for a quick bite. We rarely stop at Culver's anymore because their food is so cafeteria like for dine in prices. The cod sandwich had a little nicer bun on it and it was ok. But not enough sauce and sort of thrown into the container. So simple an order but still had to drive ahead and wait about 8 min. The fries were quite good and very hot. The drink was almost all ice. Way not worth 7 bucks. to compare.....I recently had an all I could eat fish dinner for 7 bucks that was 3 times the quality of this meal. read more

This is not a review of Culvers but rather their Pretzel Bun Pub Burger. I think the bun could have been a good idea but the burger I had was so greasy the bun was soggy with it as was the basket it came in. I could not eat it and I would not recommend it. read more

Fast food with restaurant prices. Not sure how the word butter burger became such a coined term. My grandma made them forever. All a butter burger is , is a plain hamburger , seasoned with salt and pepper and put on a bun that was buttered. The burgers are paper thin . I love fish sandwiches but the grease was bad , so bad the next time i went back i asked if they could let it rest for a min in the basket to drain. I got a mean look like i just insulted gordan ramsey. it wasnt any better. I dont go here anymore instead i opt for any local restaurant for a real burger . I eat here a lot...at least once a week. The food is exactly what you would expect at a Culver's. What I most appreciate about this restaurant is the service, which is always top-notch. The staff is extremely friendly and they all go out of their way to provide great customer service. The restaurant is always spotless. The prices are just too high for the quality of food. Don't get me wrong, the food is good, but not extraordinary. I just left there...2 double burgers, 1 was free due to a coupon, 2 med fountain drinks, onion rings reg, cheese curds large. Basically paid for 1 burger, 2 sides, 2 drinks. $17.04 Really? Plus to me the burgers taste extremely salty, could just be me.
